I saw Dr. Lile, his bedside manners were terrific. He walked me through all treatment options and answered all my questions and not once made me feel like he was rushing unlike the other providers I’ve seen at the Legend location. Highly recommend him. Staff and receptionist were great!

I do NOT appreciate waiting an hour after my appointment time, then when they do take me back finally, the doctor’s assistant puts numbing drops in my eye and some other drops, then leaves and the Dr. Comes in about 5 minutes later and puts more drops in and within 30 seconds he sticks the needle in my eye and I felt all of the size of that needle penetrate my eye. It was extremely painful and the has been happening the last 3 times this I was a patient there. This is how it has been the last 3 times, I have to sit in the waiting room waiting and waiting and waiting then I get rushed in and rushed out. I would rather not waste an hour in the waiting room again I would prefer to spend more time in the Dr. Office getting the numbing shots and letting my eye get very numb.

Great environment with friendly staff and timely services. They seemed busy and know their short staffed but were effecient and communicative.

Dr Amsterdam is an amazing physician. His diagnosis is direct but he is not arrogant. Some doctors come across like their patients are just walking test tubes and lab experiments . I would not trust my vision to any other doctor.. The office is clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and caring. Waiting times are minimal, but I never feel rushed out the door. I feel like I am the only appointment they have: I get the attention and care that I need.

Had a great experience at my laser surgery eval appointment. Lyndi was the sweetest, and was very efficient in running through all of the tests. Dr. EuDaly explained the results of the tests and next steps very clearly. Turns out I am not a great candidate for laser surgery, but appreciate the transparency and great overall experience.

Dr. Lile and Nicole, Vision Technician, are both experienced, take great care and detail with their vision exams and are very pleasant and easy to work with…a rare combination of competence and creating a positive patient experience.

I love going to the eye doctor! Sounds crazy...unless youre going to see Dr. Beek at Discover Vision. Hes so personable, fun (and funny), detailed, and super great at explaining things I surely would have to attend optometry school to understand! Hes proactive in ensuring my eyes stay healthy, corrects any issues with my eyes, and makes sure I understand what hes doing during any procedure or exam. I wouldnt be writing this wordy review if I didnt appreciate him and his practice. Hes the best!

About a 15 minute wait to be called back to the exam rooms. There were a lot of patients in the waiting room. It went fairly quick once my name was called. Staff was courteous and Dr Sayed has good patient care.

Every staff member is so efficient! Dr. Hildreth and Dr. Jefferson especially. I would recommend Discover Vision highly!

Discover Vision is a great place, the staff and Doctors are always great and personable. The only complaint that I have is the online Appointment website. I asked for email notification, I got a phone call instead. My 1st try wasnt seen, I guess, because I asked for any day except for Monday. I didnt get a response, so I tried again. It was a couple more days before I got that phone call booking my appointment on a Monday. AGAIN, I asked for any other day except Monday. I guess that the online appointment website isnt as great as it should be at this time. Lots of bugs that need to be fixed.

I booked my appointment for 10.30am and they took me back at 10.36am. While I would like to be on time it still beat a lot of other places by a long shot, this was reasonable. The person who took me back was quick and efficient so that made up for the small delay and when the doctor saw me he was friendly, courteous and engaged. Overall the experience was extremely positive and have no issues seeing this doctor again in the future.

Dr. Amsterdam and his staff run a well organized, friendly and efficient office top to bottom. Every detail is clearly written out for you and is thoroughly explained. I highly recommend him if you are considering cataract surgery or to address other vision issues.

I went for a final post cataract check and Dr. Beek discovered 2 small tears on my retina. Immediately called in Dr. Sayed for a consult who was able to perform a laser correction on the spot. The tears could have progressed to a detached retina if they hadnt been so thorough and observant. I cant imagine going anywhere else for my eye care needs.

As per usual, I waited 30 mins to get called back and start my appointment. After spending 5 minutes with the technician I was told to wait for the doctor. He came 20 minutes later. That will be the last time I see him or Discover vision. Wish they respected their patients time a bit more.I will add the individual I interacted with were all very kind. The issue is likely no fault of their own.

I was treated by the optical department like I was a bother. I was first placed on hold for 25 minutes and when I hung up and called right back, the office was closed. I called first thing the following morning. I was as sweet as could be because you get further with kindness. She acted like she didn’t want to help me over the phone or in person, she made no attempt to help and defiantly was not willing to do any extra. The bad part is, I knew exactly what I wanted and it should have been a quick process. I was told that maybe once there is more than one person working, they could find time to call insurance and process my eyeglass order but it was not going to be that day. Once again, I gave them the benefit of doubt and called first thing the following business day and was told I would get a call at 10 am. I contacted another company and treated like they wanted my business and to help me. Within minutes, my order was placed. I will never recommend Discover vision.

In March of 2020, I had to postpone an laser surgery, due to a more serious issue. I was so sorry to have to do so. But I did call & say I would be back. And I did, in March 2021! I was eager to be there & received the high quality of care, as before, with COVID & safety precautions. With adjustments from last year, Im now scheduled to get the needed surgery. I felt so comfortable with Dr. Jefferson & his competent staff. And Im excited to have improvement with my vision! Im very pleased with Discover Vision!

The personnel asked preprogrammed questions whish I answered. If I asked a question it was as if they detected a bad smell and I received no answer unless I pressed the issue.Dr. Amsterdam asked how my vision has been since my last visit. I stated that I cant read with my glasses on and my distance vision appeared double if were indoors. I asked if I needed new leses and received no answer. I asked him about my cataracts and was told well check next year.When the technician was in the room he asked the usual questions and left. He did not check the prescription of my glasses. I have prescriptions from my last 2 annual visits and my glasses were made prior to that.Needless to say I am not satisfied with my care and the indifference to me as human being.Whe you consider the length of time required to respond to your request, you can imagine my frustration.

The service was professional, friendly and they took extra time to answer questions and explain details of my situation. Dr. Beek was awesome, highly recommend!

I came here for SMILE corrective eye surgery. Considering this is a life changing operation, the process was quite painless and reasonably priced. The staff was great about helping you feel ready for the operation, despite that any anxiety is really unwarranted. I hardly felt a thing for the duration of the procedure. They also make follow up calls periodically afterwards to ensure an ideal recovery. For me, recovery has been a breeze. All I did was sleep all day and now I feel about ready to go back to my routine - minus the contacts.I rarely recommend anything, but I cant think of anything more worthy of recommendation than this life altering experience.

Not impressed with the assistant or the Dr. She didnt listen, treated me with disdain. The Dr was impatient and borderline rude. They dilated my eyes and didnt inform me. I had to drive home, which was not safe for anyone. I had no one to call for pickup or i would have. They said it would be ok, but everyone knows thats not true.

The most horrifying experience ever. The doctor I saw has zero compassion and zero professionalism. Will not be returning.Fortunately, the check out lady was very sweet and apologetic for how rude the doctor behaved.

My Doctor, Sheri’ Johnson, recommended Dr. Amsterdam to remove my Cataracts. We were ready to go Jan 4th……..then I developed an infection that went on until the end of May!Finally we could finish the removal. Today I was released from Dr Amsterdam’s care! I received so many delays and schedule changes that messed their schedules up I’m sure. I am grateful for a Group of Drs that were empathetic to my situation! Today was my last day, my eyes are doing great! I am very blessed a diabetic for almost 60 years. I have had several doctors who have cared for me. I am so grateful for each one. This was the slickest experience ever! So on time..nothing lagged everyone so friendly and efficient. The hardest part for me was not running my mouth during the procedure. I’m SHOCKED at how bright everything is once the cataract is removed and you can actually see. Can hardly wait for February 9th to get the next eye done!!!
