The whole family goes here. The doctors, front desk and glasses sales staff are top notch. Every question is addressed immediately and politely. I expected to purchases glasses after getting my RX elsewhere, but the customer service was so great I had to purchase them from here. Working with my insurance was a breeze!! Dont go anywhere else!

The staff and office were also very patient with my one year old as he ran around the lobby as I was filling out the new patient forms. I have never had a better experience at the eye doctor. Ive always had pleasant experiences with Hunter Family Vision, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a good optometrist (they have several)! The doctors and staff are attentive, friendly, and experienced. On the couple of occasions over the years Ive had a pressing need to be seen, theyve been able to accommodate me on short notice. The technician did a very thorough job of explaining what she was going to do and gave thorough instructions and answered all of my questions.Dr. Tomasu was very professional, courteous and friendly while giving me my examination.He clearly explained the results of the testing and answered all of my questions.He made recommendations on the type of glasses I should purchase.Bridget was my optical lab technician and she did an outstanding job explaining the different types of glasses that would be best with my prescription.Inever felt rushed and she was very professional and courteous. She gave me advice on which style of glasses looked good on my face and which would be the best size for progressive lenses.Overall I highly recommend going to Hunter Family Vision !!

First of all this place is so crisp and clean when you walk in. You’re greeted with smiling kind people. Julie took me back and did my exam, she explained everything that she was doing and was very patient. Dr. Tomasu looked over all the results and explained it to me at my level. He is so intelligent and made me feel great about my situation with my eyes. I then went to Bridget and she is just darling! Understood all of my insurance and guided me through the process of getting new glasses and I love her opinion! Charisma was there too and was actually helping out my husband. Between the two of them we decided on a fun pair of sunglasses. It is truly a wonderful team and I would highly recommend this place to everyone!

Hunter is amazing! My son’s sport glasses were broken and we had soccer try outs early in the morning. We got to Hunter at 8am and they helped us right away with a new pair and we made it to soccer by 8:30! Then Jessica went over my eyeglass options, and my insurance , and even ordered in a pair of frames for me, so I could see if I liked them. My husband sees Dr Hunter twice a year to ensure his Type 2 diabetes has not caused any eye problems. We love the staff - they are very responsive and easy to work with. I dont have my new glasses yet, but the selection was varied and fun. Service was friendly and the exam very thorough. Also liked their precautions vs Covid.

Very kid friendly. Very patient and professional. The staff and doctor where excellent and got us in and out in a timely manner. Comfortable waiting room (even with Covid) and great exam rooms. Getting our son fitted for glasses was very smooth and quick and they can do most things in house. We had to get his lenses ordered but it only took 3 business days to get them in. Car side pick up was fast and easy. And they were incredible with my special needs daughter. Will definitely be coming back.

Fabulous experience! I have seen Dr. Swan at the Prairie Village location and Dr. Tomasu at the Leawood location. Today, I was in Leawood to select eyeglasses and sunglasses. Amy provided exceptional service and assisted me in picking out three pair I love!

Have had 8 appointments for me and my son and dauther at this location and each time was pleasant. The ladie in the front Julie is so polite and accommodating, very professional at all times, and the doctor Tomatzsu was always prompt very knowledgeble. They have all new machinery to determinate the best solution.Any and Charisma always follow up and make sure your eyebware fits and you are complete satisfied.Never waited more than 10 minutes after appointment time to be seen or had any bad experiences. I’ve even referred a few friends and family and they also love the location. I was pleased seeing my daughter vision improved 2 times now.

I’ve brought my mother in multiple times for adjustments and have worked with Charmisa? each time. I don’t know if she’s more worried about her appearance, rather than helping customers. Anyway, the adjustments have never lasted and my mother is quite upset. We will not be returning to your office, because it has been a waste of our time.

Highly recommend! Not only did Dr Tomasu fit me for the perfect contacts (which was a chore all by itself) he also fixed my prescription that was HIGHLY over prescribed!
