Unpleasant and unprofessional office staff.Tried to make an appointment as a new patient. I explained I didnt think my previous OD at a different practice had given me a correct prescription because my eye was still bothering me 7 months after that exam and prescription. Said I wanted an exam as a new patient. The receptionist that answered the phone asked me are you sure they gave you the wrong prescription??? (like- what? Isnt that you alls job to determine?).THEN! She tells me that their protocol was to go back to the other person I had seen before coming to them. What in the world?Not much of a business model.Pretty sure I dodged a huge bullet.

This is an excellent eye care center with a friendly atmosphere. Dr. Wongs is an exceptional opthamologist. Totally recommend to anyone lookingfor great eyecare and customer service.

My three daughters and I see Dr. Jamie McGowan. I could not be more pleased with the time she takes to thoroughly check our eyes in the exam as well as get to know us on a personal level. We feel both seen and known and loved every time we go. Highly recommend!

For 7 years we have had wonderful experiences at Grin Eye Care with Dr. McGowan. She is a fantastic doctor and has helped my son improve his eyesight even with his tricky eye condition. She takes time to answer all of our questions and is so engaging with kids and adults alike. We love Dr. McGowan and we love Grin Eye Care!

Dr. McGowan is amazing. She is very thorough, takes her time with each of her patients to answer questions. She is also very flexible with scheduling to allow for all of my kids at one time.

Dr. Wongs provides excellent, personal and professional care. He is attentive to my concerns and answers all questions I had concerning my upcoming cataract surgery, which he will perform.The staff is caring and welcoming. An excellent eye care center.

I visited today with a scheduled appointment and had the absolute best experience! Entire staff was very welcoming and friendly, and I was seen at my exact appointment time. Dr. Wongs provided excellent care and did a great job explaining everything to me; after this experience, I will never go anywhere else for treatment or vision products.

As a retired physician I look for healthcare for myself from professional physician who Is well trained , a good listener with excellent staff. I am pleased to say that Dr. Jeff Wongs has set the high bar with the eye care and I would definitely recommend him and the office for all eye care. Dr. Gerson has been my eye doctor since 2005. In addition to being an excellent doctor, he is the most caring doctor I have ever had. I am thankful for all the years of eye care I have received!

From my eye exams to the full service experience with the entire staff at Grin, I have been exceptionally pleased with the service there and would not go anywhere else! I recently received glasses and sunglasses and they were beyond excellent.

They have a system to check your vision without dilating your eyes - at a small additional charge. Well worth it! Staff was very professional and pleasant.

We have always floated to the nearest eye doctor until my son was born premature and had retinopathy of prematurity. I found out about Dr. McGowen at Grin Eye Care and I will tell you, Ive never had a more thorough eye doctor! We absolutely love her and my whole family sees her! Super care. From checking in to leaving the office I received excellent care. Dr . Wolock and her staff offer personalized eye care. I was not rushed and was made to feel like I was the most important patient in the building. Follow up prescriptions were addressed. Insurance was taken care of and I knew when I walked out the door that my eyesight health and issues were in the best care available anywhere. Dr. Wolock is an excellent care giver and physician.

My visit for the first in the Pandemic period re enforced my high rating of Grin eye care in how the facility was restructured to keep social distancespacing with seating well marked check in and very organized.well done in a difficult time!

Very personable, efficient staff gave me confidence they would do a good job. Performed the necessary steps to fight the spread of the pandemic virus.

The examination was all performed by a student, who was very professional by the way. Dr. Gerson walks in the exam room, without even greeting me and asks if I want a prescription for contacts or glasses. My insurance would cover it and they could make a special price for me if I ordered in house... he insisted. I only needed a 0.25 correction in one of my eyes and having a corrective lens would not make such a difference. I understand this is a business, but I felt like just an easy way to squeeze money out of my insurance. I do not recommend Dr. Gerson.

I have been seeing Dr. Gerson and his staff for at least 10 years. They always have the most up to date equipment available and my eyes have never been healthier in my entire life. When I need samples to try for contacts they have always been more than helpful and they have always taken great care of my eye care needs.I highly recommend Dr. Gerson and Grin Eye Care.

When ordering glasses I was met with continuous sarcasm and poor attitude. She didn’t go over any of the pricing options for lenses for my daughters glasses, or explain any prices she was charging me for, and when I asked was met with more sarcasm. Other staff member were polite and helpful but never going back. Worst customer service of my life.

My son and I had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, efficient and professional. We had no wait time, very thorough eye tests, and great communication. Dr Gerson made it fun, listened and answered all my questions. The staff was very helpful in upgrading my lenses in my glasses.

Such great care from both my doctor and optometrists. I love having Grin here in Leawood. I got new frames from the Milton line. Great style.They were so willing to work with me. They saved me a trip to Olathe and brought a frame to this location. I kept bothering them for minor adjustments to the fit of my new frames, and each time they were so nice and accommodating. Dr. Wishna also cured me of this nagging problem I was having with my eyes, a problem that earlier doctors I had used when I was going to a different office couldnt fix.
