I have banked at this Credit Union since I moved to Leavenworth in 2013. Their strongest feature is their employees. They are friendly and veey helpful yet they are professional. The downside is the techbology. When I started the software and the website were the most user friendly I had ever used. Then someone made the decision to change software and it was a bad decision. First I lost the ability to send me Balance Alerts multiple times a day. Second we lost having our picture in our account so we were not asked for ID to make a transaction. So some nice young man set up a code for me to use so I didnt need my drivers license but with turn over I am being asked for ID again. Also very dangerous to security I lost the requirement for a password to make an external transfer. If someone hacks into my account at 2 am and I get a notice that an external transfer has been requested no one is?at the bank to stop it. We need that password protection. After an upgrade on May 6, the Balance Summary Alert and possibly other alerts are not working. I reported it on May 7 and as of May 10 it is not fixed. I stay for the people.

I have been banking with Frontier Community Credit Union for over 25 years. FCCU has financed 2 homes, 6 autos and a number of other financial projects. The main reason I continue to be a loyal customer is they consistently provide excellent service with great care. They are the BEST.

I have been a member for over 6 years. They have always been nice and helpful everytime Ive needed asssitance. I like how there is a physical building that i can go into to talk with someone when needed. I definitely recommend this bank to anyone looking to switch or start an account.

Terrible bank. Had to use them for a car loan when I lived in Leavenworth. Every time Ive called them, there is always a rude lady that answers that sounds inconvenienced every time you talk to her. They are very out dated with how they run everything, and their online banking is terrible. I forgot my account PIN once and had to go in multiple times to get this straightened out. They would not assist me over the phone even though I offered to give them all of my information. Go with Community America, or any other bank outside of LV and you will save yourself time and a huge headache.

This lending institution is a gamble. They not only hit you with fees that you are not aware of. They also will report the wrong information to credit bureaus. So fair they have not been willing to resolve any of these issues,even thou the loan has been paid off in full with no missed or late payments.Good luck with this one

Months ago during the conversion there was ample time to prepare for no funds availability. Today all of the sudden all cards dont work. I was magically supposed to know a card in a plain envelope was sent out, without any email or phone call. This new card process was handled horribly.

THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST CREDIT UNION IN ALL OF KANSAS!!!! I would not bank anywhere else! Lori Norwood is absolutely amazing and gave me a chance / helped me get my new car. Had a very good experience working with the bank employees. From the moment I walked in there was someone at the door to help me. Even their website was very easy to use. I use it for all my banking needs from checking my account, money transfers, and bill payments. i have been a customer for a very long time and will continue to do my business there.

EDIT - 7/1/19 Is it any surprise that even though I posted a review to get help that i have still been unable to get anyone to call me back or get my issue resolved. Well, lets see if the BBB can help. After that, I will see what my attorney has to say about it. Its simple really. All I want is the balance to reflect correctly on my credit since I am making my payments on time, every month. Always. Since they have forged documents, you would think they would be a little more anxious to get the matter resolved. Apparently they dont care that someone there is signing legal documents for their members.My whole family has been using them for many years, and it used to be great, however lately it is just getting worse and worse. Every time I call with a question or need help I get a snide comment or a rude response. I need an answer to what should be a simple question but instead they want to tell me something I didnt need to hear. I had to have several surgeries and was very ill for a long time, so I had to file chapter 7 a couple years ago. They lost about $1000 dollars. I kept my car, and have never made a late payment on it, but yet they arent reporting it. When I called to find out why, they send me a copy of a document that has a signature on it that doesnt belong to me. I would have signed this document, just like I did with my husbands vehicle, but they didnt send it to me. Yet, they want to get an attitude and treat me like garbage when there was nothing I could do. They act like they lost thousands of dollars and had to repo the car. I have had 5 cars with them, not to mention the car lot my family owns that sends business to them, or USED TOO. I will make sure that stops. I was VERY ILL and things happen that are sometimes out of our control. I am not ashamed. We did what we had to do to keep our cars and our home, and they treat me like garbage every time I call to try and fix something. My car will be fully paid off in just a few months and I will never return to this horrible little bank. I wont finance any of the cars on our lot there ever again, and once my brothers car is paid off he will close his accounts there as well. There are a lot of accounts that they will lose because they thought it was ok to treat someone like trash because I almost died.

I have to agree with Rays review. My husband had an account here and the conversion was HORRIBLE! He did not receive a letter in the mail, or an email, or a phone call. His card didnt work like it was supposed to and to put a cherry on top of the cake. His phone number somehow was removed off of his account and when trying to login to the mobile website to check up on his account none of the security questions were even his! This all looked sketchy so weve pulled everything from this credit union and moved to Mutual Savings! They are very friendly and Ive never had a problem with them. Ive been at MSA for 5+ years! If you are sick of FCCU like we are I suggest switching to MSA!

Terrible service, very difficult to get money transferred out of an account with them. They charge a wiring fee and have pop money available, but only after you set it up over the phone on their terms when they are available. They also only have one employee who is capable of setting this up. He usually doesnt answer the phone and your only option for setting it up is when he finds time to call you back.

Very negative experience on several times with customer service. I was charged transfer fees (which I was told didnt exist) when I signed up for my account. They charged me per transaction, and only reversed one. On another time, I opened up a chat only to be rudely disconnected. When I called in, I spoke to the woman I was chatting with and she didnt even apologize for disconnecting with me.I tried using mobile deposit on my first check which got rejected because My account wasnt open long enough. Because I wrote on the check, they wouldnt cash it, either. I had to pay to get my work to reissue the check.On another occasion, I asked the teller if I could do a digital transfer from their bank to another bank without a fee. She said yes. I got charged for that, too (out of checking). They wouldnt reverse it, even though I was given wrong information and no where on the site did it tell me there was a fee involved.Worst customer experience Ive had at a credit union. Ill be switching back to a bank that offers real 24/7 support, who do not charge fee after fee.

The front desk girl was so friendly and kind. My husband and i were told by her that even if My score wasnt exactly where it needed to be they would still work with me, well she was wrong. We were also told theyre more relaxed than a bank and if they cant loan the requested amount they would counter offer us a lower amount. We said good because the bank just was flat out no. Well that wasnt true either and no one bothered to even call me back so after my third call they said no it wasnt approved your score isnt high enough, NO counter offer, nothing. So first experience with a credit union and it wasnt good. Im so glad we didnt change our direct deposits to them. They appear very unprofessional.

Better than a bank. But then again, everything is. Some constructive criticism would be: Allow for the ability to transfer money online. I dont want to drive to Leavenworth or a shared branch for something I can do at home.When I am securely logged into my online account there is no need for identity confirmation, because I am already logged in with my credentials. I think the transfer shouldnt be instantaneously, in case of account breach. that way you have time to stop the transfer, but frontier needs to move into the digital age. We arent in the 70s anymore, pick up the pace.

I called into make a payment, and was told out of the blue that they charge a $10 processing fee. They do not send me a bill reminder, they only send a notice when Im late. I have asked before if they could send a bill or a statement and they have told me they do not do that. Their customer services is spotty. Im likely to reach someone who cannot be bothered to respond to my questions or request without an audible sigh. I have been transferred with out notice, which was jarring. I have not been able to set up anytime of online transactions, so to avoid the NEW $10 processing fee, I will have to mail in my payments, which I do not trust to be processed timely given the lack luster service.

If I could Id rate them a 0. I am a single parent working my tail off to pay for my bachelors degree and maintain my sanity. I ran into some issues December 2016 (roughly negative $200) and Jerry Holmes the collections supervisor decided to come to my house unannounced to discuss my negative balance. Luckily I wasnt home because I would have called the cops seeing a stranger at my door. I am a single young woman like I said and I dont feel comfortable with people coming to my house unannounced. After the harassment, I was ashamed and embarrassed at my situation, I finally verbalized my frustration to a friend and she told me that wasnt right. As her father is a newly retired CEO of a credit union. He advised me to get in touch to FCCU CEO. I did and the FCCU CEO stated that Mr. Holmes acted accordingly to their practices. I regret my decision to go to this credit union. Allowing a collections supervisor to go to your house unannounced is not okay. I dont know why I was singled out or if this has happened to others. I would gladly know the reasoning behind this. I still feel as if I was harassed in an unkindly manner and would like answers.

Worst bank I’ve ever dealt with. Finally closing my account after dealing with 10+ years of terrible service. When asked why I was transferring all funds I gave the following reasons..1. ATM fees. Charles Schwab refunds all charges from an ATM. Frontier told me I could go to any (2) of their locations for same benefit.2. Call in service/website/mobile app all terrible. When calling local branch you have to listen to five minutes of automated recordings before reaching someone. Mobile app is worthless.3. Operating hours.. what bank in 2018 is still closed on BOTH Saturday and Sunday?!4. Delayed payments.. have had multiple instances where I’ve received late payments because Frontier has not released funds.5. Poor customer service.Go anywhere else but Frontier.

Horrible customer service, I applied for a loan and they denied me with no counter offer. I had two loans with them in the past that I paid off. The woman I spoke with was very rude both on the phone and in email. I will make sure I spread the word that they are not a decent place for any financial transactions.
