This salon always has good music, a great vibe and unique friendly people. I enjoy coming here to get my hair done. Their dye smells like perfume and the staff are so eager to do whats best for you hair.

I have been going to Juanita for years. When she straightens my natural hair it last longer than any beautician I have ever visited.

Juanitas Hair Salon Norcross are hands down the best. The in home hair braiding was just as easy as being in the salon. They make you feel comfortable and do an unbelievable job!!

First time I went in 2014, I loved it. Great price for a great cut n style. She understands exactly how I want my hair. I live 2 hours away and I go there at least twice a year. I would go more often if I could. She is absolutely the only person who cuts my hair. Love you Juanita and thank you for making my whole family feel like your family.

The way they handle customer service is completely unprofessional i called because i had gotten the keratin treatment on my hair which is supposed to make it straight and it returned back curly once it got wet ( after they had told me i could get it wet) and i called to complain and they hung up on me TWICE

I dont normally write online reviews, but feel this salons low rating is inaccurate. I visited Juanitas two days ago. Id received a relaxer from a different salon that severely damaged my hair. Itd become thin and spotty from hair loss. I popped into the salon, desperate for help. The lady at the front desk was very sympathetic and said they could immediately work me in. They started with a deep conditioning (I didnt ask for it, but was grateful it was included). The young lady that helped me didnt speak English well, but I didnt fault her for that, cuz I dont speak Spanish. We worked together, determined how short my hair would be, and what style worked best. She was so patient, friendly, and helpful. I just fell in love with her. While at the salon, I marveled at how friendly everyone was. It was like you walk through the door and become family. One lady walked in and went from person to person saying hello in Spanish and giving hugs. Even to people under the dryers. I was the last person to leave that day, so I feel I got a good idea of how the salon operates. I read the online reviews before stepping into Juanitas and I dont understand the low rating. Im so, so happy I went with my gut and not other peoples opinion. My husband has decided to get his hair cut there and Ill be a return customer. Again, this salon deserves a higher rating.

Ive been a faithful customer at juanitas since 2003 and Ive never experienced anything other than a high cultured upbeat salon. They will absolutely grow your hair out and it lasts for weeks! I am natural and yes she charges 60 but that is standard on natural hair. I have experienced long wait times but they also get extremely busy. I never experienced racism (as Dominicans are black as well) if anything they just dont speak English and were being misunderstood. I will continue to go to juanitas

This is a good place to grow any kind of hair. I have to drive 1.30mins to go get my hair done there. I never knew that I had a fine textured hair until Junaitas touch. Now my hair is long and silky and that really makes me feel good.

I rarely post reviews online. I even waited a week to make sure I knew how I felt about the service provided at this salon. If you like a lack of punctuality and pain, then this is the salon for you. If not, I strongly recommend that you exercise your other options.I arrived at Juanitas hair salon, in Norcross, on February 24 2014 at 9:45 a.m. The sign on their door says they open at 10 a.m. The hair dresser did not pull up in her car until 10:24 a.m. When she opened the door, I asked her, What time do you open?. She responded 10 a.m. I let that go. Then, I told her what I wanted. I wanted my hair to be texurized. Meaning, they put the same product as a relaxer on my hair and leave it on for less time. She gave me a quote of $90.I sat down in her chair. She goes into the back fumbles around looking for supplies. She comes back out and tells me she is out of texurizer, but I could either come back later in the afternoon or drive to their sister salon in Alpharetta GA (also named Juanitas Hair salon). I drove to the salon in Alpharetta, GA. That hair dresser gave me a quote of $150. I drove straight back home. So, I called back the hair salon in Norcross and the hair dresser said she would have the supplies shipped to her location. She said I could come back to the salon at 1:30 p.m.I return to Juanitas hair salon, in Norcross, at 1:30 p.m. The hair dresser did not get to me until 2:22 p.m. She applied the texurizer to my hair starting at the back. She ripped through my hair like a wild animal. When she reached the front of my hair, she matted the texurizer onto my scalp causing it to start to burn. I asked her to wash it out at that point in time. The force of the water coming the facet she used to wash my hair stung around the spots where she burned me. She was still working on my hair at 4:22 p.m. Then, she said it would take another hour for styling. I said no thank you. That was my limit. I did not even allow her to style my hair.I ended up paying $80 to get burned by some beautician who did not know what she was doing. RUN!!!!! from this hair salon. Do not waste your money or you time here here.
