I needed to have a two week old hybrid set refilled, and thought I found the place to do it. The day I needed the fill was right before I went out of town. When I checked their site it stated that they did not have any available appointments so I called to see if anyone rescheduled or canceled at the last minute and was offered a few available times for that day (this shouldve been my sign). I have had clusters in the past, but due to the damage it causes to the natural lashes and the discomfort wearing them I switched to lash extensions and have enjoyed them for a few years now. I have NEVER experienced what I went through here. There is only one master of cosmetology license posted in the shop, but there were two people working at the time that I went. The glue is stronger than the lash extension glue Im used to (Smells more like nail product chemicals) it burned my eyes as it was being applied (felt more like clusters than extensions). Somehow the extensions that were applied got glued to the tape under my eyes, so much so that I could not open my eyes at all when she was done. She had to bend the lashes back and pull them off of the tape for me to open my eyes. My eyes were burning from the glue for at least 20 minutes after my appointment. I kept feeling a poke a few minutes after I left the shop (as I write this review the poking is still there) and once I got home noticed that none of the false lashes were applied properly (This is shocking considering that I was informed that the techs have about 3 years experience. It does not show in their work). Extensions were not isolated, but stacked on top of each other, they were applied so close to the base of my lashes that they can not be removed by a professional because the remover would irritate my eyes. The poking is so bad I feel it with every blink and its difficult to sleep. Gladly the false lashes she applied begin to fall out the next day so they should all be out in a few days. As they fall out you can see that they are not properly formed fans that are separating at the base and you can see how cheap their lash extensions are. If you are looking for genuine lash extensions, this is NOT the place. They ARE falsely advertising and I would not recommend nor will I visit again. Prices should reflect that of clusters and not lash extensions. Clusters at a nail salon are $25-$40, they charge $100.

Let me first say this, the girls who work their are super nice. However, to be honest I don’t think they know what they are doing when it comes to lashes and need more training and experience. The first time I came the lashes lasted a few days not even a week. I decided to try them again you know because everyone has bad days but the weeks after my second experience my full natural lashes are thinner than they ever been in my entire life. They weren’t properly removed and the glue is way to harsh for someone’s natural lashes and they add them in clusters and not one by one so it makes it heavy on each lash. Attached is before and after pictures. I hate to have to do this because they were so nice but now I have to deal with my natural lashes gone.

Wonderful experience! Deja is professional, knowledgeable and patient. It is clear she understands her craft and takes pride in it. I was extremely excited/put as ease with the precautions set in place for both clients and staff during this terrible pandemic. I would absolutely recommend Empress Life Beauty lounge. I had a Vsteam gifted to me by a friend. It was the best feeling!! The scent of the herbs were calming. It was so relaxing. I was in my own private area. The ladies Shay and Daejah continuously checked on me. Great services. I am going back to get a full set of lashes and I want a couple of tooth gems.

It was my first time ever getting a V steaming & I loved the vibes in the lounge. The girls are professional and really funny. My lashes did not last anytime at all. I had huge chunks missing by the third day. Their policy is that you can contact them in the first two days, but after that you are required to pay them for any additional services. Seems like a great place, but the last application is poor. Not worth it for the money!

Went in for my very first wax. Brazilian at that. They offered me a glass of wine and the atmosphere and vibe was so relaxing. This experience could not have been any better. She talked me through the process and made me feel absolutely comfortable.

The establishment is simple, but well decorated and they offer an extensive array services. They also sell a few different kinds of clothes, makeup, and beauty/wellness supplies. Shay gave amazing customer service and applied the lashes very well, though the look is a little more dramatic than I anticipated. I asked for a natural look from short to medium and subtle to more volume. I never carry cash, so it was also very convenient that I could tip through Cash App. All in all, great service for an affordable price!

Customer service and atmosphere is the bomb sadly my lashes didn’t even last to the end of the day. I literally had like 4 individual lashes fall out the exact same day I got them done. I’m going out of town with no time to get them fixed. Feel like I wasted money. Wish my lashes had lasted. I liked the ppl there.

I’m giving two stars strictly because my lash tech was so sweet. My lashes looked fine when they were first done, but they’ve been consistently falling out since then and it’s only been two days. They’re clearly using a low quality glue & if I wasn’t on my way out of town I would’ve went back to at least try get them fixed. Would not recommend at all for lashes.

I came in a couple days ago to get lash extensions with reference photo of a small lift and asking for a natural look because of what I do for work. I ended up with a huge curl and I was embarrassed to go anywhere. I went to work and was sent home because of it. Regardless I had to wait to get them removed. When I come back to ask to get them removed, I found out that the lady gave me a D-curl which is the most dramatic look. I would’ve came back if they actually gave what was asked for. Although I was given my removal for free, I wish I would’ve asked for my money back because I wasted my time going there and the money I could’ve potentially made at my job.

I’ve been coming here for awhile. I found this place off the Groupon App and it was my first time having this service done and I’ve had nothing but good experience here. It was easy to book, fast and affordable. Shay is a expert with the services she knows exactly what she’s doing and very friendly I feel at home there. Also if you don’t brush your eyelashes and care for them the way she tells you they can start to flip and not be as clean. So make sure you brush and take care of them the way she tells you. She gives you a brush to take home!

Love love love this place! I made an appointment to have my lashes done and they were able to see me almost immediately! Sheleen was amazing! She was very friendly and knowledgeable! She took her time and did an amazing job on my lashes as you can see in the picture. They are located in a very convenient location so I had no trouble finding the shop! I would HIGHLY recommend this place. And their lashes are very affordable!

If you still want your real lashes afterwards dont bother coming here. You can smell how strong the glue is, they have improper lash placement, they use thick, heavy , unrealistic bundles versus natural individual lashes, my eyes burned for 30 mintues after getting the application and even with proper removal most of my real lashes came off because of the amount of glue that was piled on them. Ive been getting my lashes done for a while and know how individual lashes should be. I only came here to take advantage of their groupon. Run.

I loved how my lashes turned out!!! I dont think you can find another place as affordable as Empress. The owner is very friendly, and literally took less than an hour to finish my full set of lashes. Will for sure be coming back.

This is a lovely place with 2 great girls. They were courteous and knowledgeable. I found this place through groupon. I didnt purchase the groupon but they gave me the same discount. I got a 2 week eyelash fill and Vsteam. My eyelashes look even better now 😊 I left feeling very relaxed and satisfied. I would definitely reccomend this place to my friends.

The facility was clean and the atmosphere was seren. The owner and staff were very pleasant and professional. The makeup artist, Taryn, who beat mt face did an amazing job. I received so many compliments. The soft face package was worth the money. I also had a vsteam treatment that was refreshing and a pleasant first time experience. This was definitely worth the drive and will be going again.

Bought lash extension service on Groupon for my girlfriend. Unprofessional work. 12 lashes on 1 eyelash....come on now. You’re suppose to do one lash at a time. Of course it’s time consuming however that’s how it’s professionally done. Lashes literally fuse together and cause great amount of stress on her eye lashes. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

You get what you pay for ! Im missing the whole corner of my eyelashes and I just got them done Tuesday and it’s friday ! My lashes are going every which way and I thought that if I gave it a day or two they would straighten up but that’s not the case! Don’t waste your time or money go some where else !

Hi, I had an appointment with a facial tech this morning at 8am.It is 8:20am and I am still not in the chair getting service.The tech walked a little after 8:10am & all she said is are you here for a facial? I will be right back. No apology - nothing.I waited another 10mins before I got up and said I am leaving.The techs response was I am getting stuff readyI told her you should have been here before 8 am to get stuff ready and I should have been serviced at 8.Her response is do you still want the service? I told her she was rude and should have apologized.This is absolute - NO CUSTOMER SERVICEThis is why people dont do business with our people. SMH. So sad.I then get a call from the owner and she is not sure because she watched on a recording does not tally with what I sent by text. I then told her what happened and read her my text conversation with the person that referred me to her business. After the conversation she says she saw some kind of apology gesture. We are all children of God and things happen. Everyone needs to be understanding - O....K...! She will watch the video when she gets to the lounge.I told the owner yes things happen but if the tech has acknowledged that she was late or apologized NOT a do you still want the service. We wont be here right now.I wish you the best.
