I was very pleased on both of my visits to Empire. The stylist/students that serviced me were Jasmine and Donielle. Both young ladies were professional and very pleasant. They did a great job on my hair. I will return.

I was very pleased with my service. Rashawna was amazing. Her and her supervisor understood exactly what I was looking for. I was very hapoy with the outcome as well as my friends and family.

I really loved my stylist she trimmed and flat ironed my hair bone straight!!! Which was miraculous considering I came in looking like Shaka Zulus MoMA!!!

I had a very nice experience at Empire Beauty School, having my hair needs serviced by Stylist Donielle. The Professionalism and care she displayed was beyond my expectations. I loved the finished look of my hair, it was silky, shiny, full of body and she gives a nice shampoo. The School was very neat and clean, I would recommend Family and Friends to visit Empire Beauty School to have their hair care needs serviced.

I was not sure I would be seen but God worked it out and April was my stylist. She is so professional and took excellent care of my hair. I had a relaxer retouch and when she finished, wow my hair was amazing!! As a teacher I have to stay lookinf professional and April made sure that happened. I have found a new stylist and a new place to bring my daughters, thank you Empire Beauty School Gwinnett and thank you April!

Customer service is no longer a priority. Even the instructor(who sided with the student) was rude. I understand they are learning but manners are Going to be VERY important in the REAL world!!

The Empire Beauty School in Gwinnett cares for all there students, staff and clients. It is such a great place to learn and get your hair done. They do not deserve the current 3.3 stars that they have. if you live in the area and are looking for a beauty school to attend or even get services done call and get a tour and see how amazing of a school it is yourself. and for those of you wanting to get your hair done call and get an appointment, ask question they are so helpful and professional on all levels.

It was a little ratchet but what was professional was how they did my hair. It was worth it . I love this place. Im sad I moved. Good value and good work.

I went today and had my hair dyed/foiled/cut and styled. Erica did a fabulous job with guidance from her instructor . Everyone is super nice. I volunteered for a demo on face therapy. The treatment was astonishing.

Beautician Student Jamacia Brown was on point today from start to finish. I had a great shampoo, trim and style. I was so pleased and comfortable with her services, that Ill be following up with her for an appointment.

You Wont Learn Anything!!

Im not going to bash the school or the students who have accomplished so much and graduated. But I will say this.If youre going to take out loans and pay money for a skill, Love what you do. Cosmetology isnt for everybody. Between the appointment not being recorded, the stank ass attitudes fogging up the place, to the bottom feed customer service and not to mention the low quality hair service that was received. That $25 would of had a better pay out at Panera Bread. Today was the worse. Im sick over it. Every time I drive down Pleasant Hill Rd I will think...Never Again. 1st and Last time. I hope tomorrow is better for you guys and your customers.

The school sucks, too much heat and cant even try to attempt to do your requesting, no wonder its a cheap price. If you want you hair slayed and flowing, then i suggest not going here. Some of the students there are good, then others just need to find another profession. Its more of trial or lock thing, it you get a good student great if not good luck. poor service

I was invited to be a model and Lania did my hair and I was amazed first by how straight she got my hair then by how beautiful it looked and last but not least I went out after it rained and my hair didnt frizzy I will definitely be coming back to see her

I had my hair cut my Monae and she was fabulous. This is a school and some students are father along or learning different services at different times. Customer service was fine across the board for me. The place was clean and the ladies there seemed happy to be there. All in all Im going back to get cut and color next time!

Today was my first time coming here. My hair is short and wavy. The first student was unsure how to style my hair. She asked the instructor, Mccellumfor assistance twice. This instructor was not any help at all for myself or this sweet student! Another student named Taj stepped in to assist. As the instructor continued to walk around! The students are enrolled here for guidance not to be ignored! First impressions is everything!! My people we have to lose the nasty attitude and do better!

You get what you pay for. If you have naturally curly or long hair, please do yourself a favor and DONT get a trim here. These are not professionals, and you more than likely will end up with an unwanted haircut. I came in for a basic straighten and trim for my mid-back length hair; left with a neck-length uneven bob. The stylist trimmed only half an inch while it was still wet and curly. I ended up going straight to my usual salon to fix it.

Do not go here, very rude. Students and teachers. They dont teach you what you need to know for other ethnic hair and let you fail. Dont waste your time and money, go to another school!!!

Went for the first time i wanted full set of acrylic and a manicure. After waiting for 45minutes i got manicure but not my acrylic i waa upset but wont be back. Lack of communication between receptionist/student and other students

Ive been going to this location and for the price and timing I really enjoyed myself..Chantell did a great job on my straightened out hair request..Ive paid hundreds of dollars and not been as pleased as I am now..I wish they stayed open later but other then that great experience!

Very unprofessional from the Director on down to the students. Some of those girls dont know what they are doing and should not be there. They be having some conversations with clients that they shouldnt be having. They take their time setting up their station and getting their clients. Some of them have the worst attitude and some of them be wearing leggings to where you can see their butt or underwear. Some of the girls be telling what goes on in there with other students and staff members. It’s a few girls that does a great job there.

They do ok. Theyre students and are still learning. Some are better than licensed stylist.

I took my daughter to Empire for her birthday to get a cut and style!! We were extremely pleased at the service, professionalism and the haircut that she received. We will are going to get our nails done next time.

I arrived at 7:00 am on Saturday morning I was the forth person in line. The doors opened promptly at 9:00 am, I signed in and waited for my name to be called. My hairstylist was Adelisha (I hope I spelled it correctly), she was professional and very knowledgeable about the products that she used and also recommended products. I received a blowout, deep conditioner and trim, she did a fabulous job. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. Adelisha, if you read this I want to say thank you again and good luck on your endeavors. VI

My first time trying the service and Im definitely going back again soon. My hair is natural and I had a barber blow dry and flat iron my hair and he did very well, they train well and they are professional for the best price.

Been there a few times. Twice Ive gotten my hair flat ironed and they didnt use any heat protectant. I got a color which turned out very uneven. I also got a cut there and the woman used dull scissors so now I have way more split ends than I did at first. :( Just pay attention to your stylist. The price is great but I would stick to just the hair wash and blow dry.

First of all, you really have to consider what they do: they are students, and so they are slow, and they arent great at it yet.Ive had my hair cut there once. Bad idea.Ive had my hair colored there three times. Goood Idea :) Again, even though each time it was painfully slow, for the professional quality color they use, you cant beat the price (for over-all color) -- I dont think I would trust them with highlights.I was offered a Mani for an extra $5 and decided to try it. The girl didnt have a *clue* what she was doing -- another *bad* idea.Make sure to ask for someone who has done it before -- sometimes they just put people out there who have never done a real head of hair.

I am never ever going to come back here again. When we come there, is to support the students and let them practice on us. We dont come there because we BROKE.The supervisors force they students to make extra money out their clients. They charge you for things u never ask or wanted. This is not a school. They just want money.

My hair looked a hot mess. Its a shame that you go in for a simple hairstyle (straightened and ends cut) and it looks bad. I will never be back. Save your money!

I gave this school a 3point rating cause even though they are students, for a quality and cost of the work they do it was very well worth it...lowest price being $5 and thats for a wash and style. My experience today was the first of many.

Honestly can say this is the Worst school I’ve ever been too in GA. Surrounded by a bunch of negative human beings.

Place is small and the school never has supplies for the students so they have to use their own and sometimes gets in trouble.

If I could put 0 star I would . They have 0 customer service, rude and ignore clients! Especially the reception personnels. The worst place to look for service ever!!!
