I stopped seeing Dr. Dubin after several appointments.I have Diabetes and found him unqualified in dealing with some of its most basic issues. On one occasion, he failed to order a test for A1C, the most important test of all. Rather than own the mistake, he tried to minimize it as not important.At the next appointment, he seemed to be confused about the importance of a 1-time glucose reading vs. the A1C (a 90-day average). Despite having lowered my glucose results, significantly, he made me feel like Id failed.I cannot speak to his overall knowledge, but in my case, he was brutal. He spoke in jargon and euphemisms. Twice, in one appointment, he took personal phone calls.Im sure hes a wonderful human being, but my doctor-patient experience with him was about as poor as it gets.
