Dr. Gordon is great. My surgery went perfectly. I have an issue with his Largo Office Staff. Strike 1. After I went home from my surgery, I was having some issues over the weekend. Two times I called their answering service, asking for a callback from a dr or nurse to call me. The last thing my after care dr told me before I was released from the hospital was that if I have any issues, to call the answering service and she would be called and someone would respond promptly. Both times I reached out to the answering service, two different people treated me like poop and they seemed to be high on something. Strike 2. Had an 11am follow-up appointment in the Largo office this week. After 30 minutes of the staff taking in other patients (at least one with an 11:30 am appointment) I left. No one had the courtesy to tell me what was going on and why another patient was pushed in front of me. My guess was his consistent whining and complaining to the staff why it was taking them so long to see him (even though he was very early for his appointment) while I just sat back and observed the incompetent office staff. Dr. Gordon: Unfortunately the actions or non-actions of your staff reflect directly on you.3.22.21 update, just tried to reach you through your answering service. After four minutes, they picked up and hung up on me (by mistake?) I called back, waited five minutes on hold, no one picked up. Dr.Gordon, you really need to hire an competent answering service. The lack of professionalism reflects directly on you. You are a very good surgeon. You might want to hire better people to support your operation in the manner you should be supported.

I am a 72 year old man that had been putting off umbilical and Ventral hernia surgery for years.I was referred to Dr. Gordon by my primary Dr. after much discomfort from the hernias.I met with Dr. Gordon mid November.He and his staff was upbeat and really put me at ease.Surgery was scheduled for Dec. 5th 2017.I have been fortunate to have been healthy all my life so I was very anxious to say the least.I had the surgery on the 5th and had a small bump in the road that was immediately handled by Dr Gordon.It has now been almost 3 weeks since the surgery and I have nothing but good vibes from Dr. Gordon and his staff.I should have had the surgery years ago but timing is everything.I want to thank Dr. Gordon for his talent and disposition as I now feel better than I have in 20 years.J.Larry BellLargo Fl

Healed very fast. Back to work enjoying life. He does the latest less invasive procedures.

He was 35 minutes late to my gallbladder surgery after waiting for an hour and a half, I hope he got that haircut he wanted. :(
