Ive been going here for years, Im not sure why their are so many negative reviews the doctors here listen and are respectful and everyones always prompt and polite.

Surprise billing is a REAL THING!Get told yes your insurance covers it, yes your insurance is accepted here. Few weeks later bills in the mail. $400+ just for a visit! No treatment, nothing just a visit to discuss potential candidate for deviated septum correction. 20 minute visit, 5 minutes with the doctor. Decide okay learn from your mistakes never do that again get everything in writing... decide to pay it. A few weeks later get another bill in the mail for $350 along with threats of taking you to collections agency! RUN AWAY! Will be telling everyone I know.

I am not sure why there are many negative reviews for Dr. Rizzo. She dx and operated on my deviated septum and enlarged turbinates with no problem at all. Like another user said, billing issues happen, however I had no issue with billing and everything was billed as it should have been. I first saw her 2/11, had my surgery on 4/2, and am done with post op on 5/27. Super easy procedures and follow-ups. She also did a similar surgery on my brother a few years ago and he has positive thoughts as well.

Dr. Rizzo has performed deviated septum surgery on both me and my husband. She is the best in the profession, and exemplifies professionalism. We were both thrilled with our results, the follow-up and care given before and after our surgeries.

Great working with Dr. Rizzo and staff. Along with the separate voicing therapy and working with Dr. Rizzo, my voicing difficulties have been eliminated.

If I could give them a -2 I would! I called before hand to see if this doctor was in network, which they were, went to the doctor got ear drops and a hearing test. I stopped at the office desk before leaving to see if I owed anything and they said I did not. I also paid two copays........then proceeded to get billed for $405 in the mail!!!!!!!!! I had to fight with my insurance company and the doctors office for months! Completely was misinformed about everything because I wouldnt have gone to them in the first place if I knew ear drops would cost me $405!!!!!! DO NOT GO TO THEM!!!!!! SCUM BAGS!!!!

I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews. Billing problems happen, but the care is top notch here. This team changed my life for the better.

The sinus surgery performed by Dr. Rizzo could not have gone better. Recovery was mildly uncomfortable but pain free. She is a great doctor with a good personality and I would recommend her to others.

I was introduced to Dr. Rizzo at a time when the system in York had turned its back on me. I was sick for a very long time and was put off until the infection drained into my left lung and created another huge problem. Once I got out of York County to Dr. Rizzo, simple tests were ordered and I was quickly diagnosed. After sinus surgery, I can honestly say I dont remember what unobstructed breathing was and Im not sure I was ever this clear. The difference is amazing and maintained with Dr. Rizzos vigilance and sinus rinsing twice a day.

The terrible attitude of the doctor to the patient! The worst place Ive ever been. I dont recommend being there.

My husband was recommended to go here since he had been having problems with his sinuses and breathing. Charged us $525 to do absolutely nothing but clean out his ears and when he told them that his throat hurt when they pushed on a certain area, they did nothing. This place is a joke.

Absolutely nothing negative to say. Dr. John Miller lll was extraordinary as was Vicky McGirr, surgical coordinator.

Just look at the one star reviews. My wife went there and was over charged. I called twice to talk about the talk about the charges and when she called back I realized very quickly I was wasting my time. Do yourself a favor and find a different ENT office!Up date to my wifes visit to this place. According to the doctor my wife saw she said her nose was too bad to do anything and then she saw a specialist down Maryland he is going to help her. I am so glad that there is someone to finally help with her bad nose bleeds. If you suffer from bad Nose bleeds Just do search for HHT doctors and you will find him in Maryland he comes highly recommend .

Wish I would have read the reviews first. Was referred here by an Urgent Care PA. The staff in the front were absoluetly absorbed in whatever office drama was going on. The woman who did my hear test was nice and sweet, she explained everything in the process. The nurse that came in to take vitals was also nice and had a great energy she gave off. When the doctor came in the room, I immediately noticed how the nurses attitude changed and it was just so obvious that doctor was a pain!! She was rude to me when I didnt understand a question, and when she cleaned out my ears she didnt tell me, and just starting using something to suck wax from my ears! IT HURT! I jumped out of reflex and she literally grabbed my ear and just started again with no hesitation! It was such an awful experience I was so close to saying forget this and leaving! I WILL NOT be back here!

Was late to my surgery , walked in with everything on and had my paper work in my purse. Very unprofessional, cleaned my ear wax and barely looked at my nose , when she was cleaning my ear wax it really hurt and I flinched she just pulled me back.

Run, dont walk away from here! After combating a bad sinus infection for months that antibiotics alone wouldnt get rid of, Dr Rizzo performed sinus surgery that was a failure, as my symptoms returned within 2 weeks after the post surgery antibiotics wore off.To add insult to injury, I was charged over $600 each for 2, 10 minute post op visits to confirm that yep...things were still infected! $600 each for 10 minutes that included looking up my nose with a handheld scope and those outrageous visit charges were never disclosed to me ahead of time.Also while waiting there one day for my appointment, I overheard the nurses talking poorly about their medicaid patients and then the charges all made sense. To make up for the low fees received from those patients, they simply charge outrageous fees to others like myself without disclosing them fully.Dr Rizzo eroded the trust I normally placed in medical professionals and now Ive learned you have to ask every possible question you can think of before hand, and get everything in writing especially as it relates to cost.Oh, and after my failed surgery and overly expensive followup visits, the only option she presented was to have surgery again!! lmao It was at that point I got the hell away from there and would never ever think of visiting again.Do yourself a favor and see anyone else BUT Dr Karen Rizzo.

I went here spent my 20 minutes here the bill was over 1000.00 I had the same ting do in Paris 3 years ago and it was 95.00 with no insurance.Wake up American. There is know way this service was worth 1000.00

Please do not go here. Find another place. I went back in November 2017 to get a minor procudure done. I called ahead and so did my doctor, and they told both of us that this minor procedure would cost me $200. I went in, paid for it up front. The staff was not rude nor friendly, i was just another patient to them. I was there for a total of 30 minuetes. The following March I received a letter from them saying I owed another them $590 for this procudure and if not paid in 30 days, it would be sent to a collections agency. I called to get this fixed because they told me and my doctor it would cost only $200. After a long phone call of them saying we cant do anything about what you owe, i finally agreed to pay the extra $590 but in monthly payments becuase i didnt have the money at the time. They agreed to this over the phone and by mail (i still have the letter). I paid my first bill and checked to make sure they recieved it. They withdrew the money from my account. They also took my second months payment from my account. After the second payment i recieved a letter in the mail from a Collections agency dated 1 week after my first payment was recieved, saying Lancaster ear nose and throat reported me to the debt collections agency anyway! They took my payment, sent me to collections and then took my second payment! Never once saying they did that. Even after telling me it was ok to make payments to them for a HIDDEN charge they didnt tell me about, they took my money and reported me to a collections agency.This is a terrible place and i would honestly recommend going anywhere else. It is too expensive and they are untrustworthy. They will do anything to take from you. I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else. Please go elsewhere.

I used Dr. Rizzo 10 years ago and loved her. Unfortunately, she is now associated with this practice. The audiologist was condescending, uneducated about the products, and unprofessional. I was called in 2 times for my 1 year old son to try on adult ear molds. The Great Lakes Earmold Laboratory, Inc. and the practice refused to refund any of money. The earmold company said they put the number on my sons and another persons impression. Clearly their mistake. They did this twice too! The practice was willing to let me go to another practice and they did not care that they would lose more money than the $100 custom earmolds. After all of this I receive a $25 charge for a follow up that happened a month before. The girl I spoke with in billing eventually said she would write it off but that was after she said I should be GRATEFULL that they remade the earmolds for no extra charge! I suggest you stay away from this place and go somewhere where they treat you with respect and are professionals.

Ive been having dizzy spells, ear aches, drainage, etc. For years and after all of the testing Dr. Rizzo blamed anxiety. I felt like they didnt listen or care about my medical issues. My experience was awful.

I have been going to Lancaster ENT for over 5 years. Dr. Rizzo and her staff are very friendly, professional, and I would highly recommend them.

Awful experience do not go there...do not! I wish I would of read reviews first!!! 😡
