My daughter has a very tough script - Modern Eyes was unbelievably diligent, working with lab and with us until they found the perfect frames and lenses for my daughter. It took time and effort but they refused to give up on us. Outstanding customer service!!! Highly recommend!

My family and I started going to ModernEYES a little over a year ago.I work for Penn Manor School District. When I was informed by the district that when I purchase glasses through ModernEYES it would contribute to qualifying students in our area to receive free glasses. They are friendly and helpful ever time we walk through the door. We have never felt rushed and they have been patient. We have had broken glasses or nose pieces more then once and they have gone above and beyond to assure we walk out wearing glasses we feel good about wearing. They will even make suggestions and at times when they didnt have the color frame in store they took the time to search online to see if the frame was available in other colors.My children and I just had our yearly eye exams. The optician was professional, kind, informative, and helpful by making suggestions and answering questions. I appreciate that she took the time to explain to my children and me what she was doing and why.I recommend ModernEYES to anyone looking for an eye doctor and/or new eyewear. All of the staff members are professionally trained and very personally caring when it comes to dealing with customers and their particular needs. I recently needed a check up because of cataract changes in my eyes; and then finding that the changes were severe since my last exam, I needed to immediately have a lens prescription change because of my plans to go out of state in about a week. They were extremely helpful and succeeded in obtaining what I needed five days before I was scheduled to leave. My vision was much improved and I felt much safer when driving long distance! They went out of their way to help me!!!

I was referred by optician, Barb Emmerich to Modern Eyes. What convinced me to go was seeing how much Barb enjoyed working there. Usually a good indicator of a great place. I had no idea I would be taken care of so well from the friendly, professional staff. The exam from Dr. Phuong was the most thorough and educational Ive ever received. There is no reason I or anyone should ever choose any other for examination, glasses or contacs. FYI I have never rated any other business.

Dr. Phuong performed an extremely thorough eye exam and provided explanations for each procedure and summarized the overall health of my eyes. Barb, my optician was so helpful when I chose my frames and when I picked up my glasses she patiently adjusted them to fit comfortably.The entire staff was professional and pleasant. I have been buying my prescription glasses and sunglasses from Modern Eye since they had a little kiosk in Park City Mall. I have been so loyal to them because they are good at what they do, they have unique selections and most of all....SOOOO nice and personable and helpful! No matter who is waiting on me....from the owners to the sales people they have hired everyone is so nice. Their sales people have been there for years, so I know every one of them. Its probably because the owners are so nice, they dont want to leave! Its kind of like going into the Cheers bar! Everyone takes an interest in you and knows you. The owner Jon was extremely kind and helpful, and even came into the store (even though he was off work), to make my glasses for me. Dr. Phuong is a wonderful eye doctor! She gave my boyfriend and me an extremely thorough eye exam and was very friendly and willing to listen to ALL my concerns. She is the first doctor in my lifetime to prescribe glasses that do not strain my eyes or give me migraines! She prescribed 2 glasses - for the computer and for distance - a smart solution no other doctor could think of.The staff at the optical center are truly experts at what they do. It’s like they took a fashion class or something - they easily choose the perfect frames given your unique features. I am a pretty tough customer typically and am not always happy with the glasses I come home with but NOT THIS TIME!! I am thrilled to show everyone my new glasses and boast about how great of a place ModernEyes is! Every person including the owners are kind, polite, and outgoing. I recommend!

Outstanding customer service seems to be a lost art these days. I am pleased to report that the Modern Eyes Team is not following this trend. In fact, my personal experience with their great staff far exceeded my expectations. My wife and I were looking for quality sunglasses and with their insight and advice we chose a pair of Maui Jims and a pair of Costas. I normally wear contacts but have recently been looking for blue light glasses (without a prescription) that were also high quality and didn’t feel cheap. The guys were so amazing and very helpful! I purchased blue light glasses and have been very happy with them! Chad stayed late to get my lenses cut and frames fitted so I wouldn’t have to make another trip back again! Will definitely be returning for any future eye needs!

With Covid-19 still around Modern Eyes Optical really made you feel safe when you enter their doors. They have a great system before you even enter. I was able to make an appointment easily over the phone. My glasses broke and needed a new pair and I needed to pick up my contacts. If I was just picking up my contacts they have curbside pick up. John assisted me the moment I walked through the door. He helped me pick out my glasses and helped repair my old pair. This place is just wonderful. Its a happy, positive atmosphere. The people there are so friendly and nice and it was just the best experience in getting new glasses. The eye exam was a totally pleasant experience and the selection of frames was outstanding. They do a good job of helping you find the right frames for your face. I bought two pair and when almost a week later I found I wasnt happy with how one of my pairs felt (the computer glasses) they had me come back and try on more until I found the ones I felt were right. There was no charge for this. Who does this?!! They said they just want me to be happy with my glasses.

We had the best experience with shopping for toddler glasses at modern eyes! Their customer service with children is amazing, we worked with Kristy to help us find the right frames for our 3 year old twin boys! We are also in the middle of potty training and one of them had an accident so my husband took him out to the car to get him changed and stayed out in the car with him, not realizing we needed to still measure him for his new glasses... Kristy was so sweet she took her measuring equipment out to our car and measured him in his car seat! It was even drizzling that night and I felt so bad she had to come out in the rain but she was so nice and helpful! They also have a nice little playroom area for your kids to play! It is so hard to find places that carry so many different brands for young children but this place has a great selection! We went with the nano frames and my boys just keep saying how much they love their new glasses! If you need glasses for your small children this is the place to go!

One of the ear-pieces of my glasses frame broke just before I had to travel to Europe for work. The people at Modern Eyes were very helpful to me on short notice and spent a good amount of time jerry-rigging an earpiece to my old frame in short order.
