***BEWARE***AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!While the staff and doctors were nice people, they scarred me majorly while doing a mole removal. The mole was flesh colored and wasnt super noticeable but I wanted it off because of other reasons. I now have a scar 3 times the size of the mole and it is a dark red/maroon color and is absolutely repulsive. Ive had moles removed before and you cant even tell they were there. Now I have this horrendous scar that Im embarrassed to take my shirt off. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Dr. Anderson is a really good doctor. He explained to me in detail what the lump on my finger was and even wrote it down for me. He fixed the problem very gently and I was on my way. The nurse and other staff members are very professional. This was my second visit to their office, the first being 6 years ago in which Dr. Anderson , with great precision, removed a small tumor on my lip. I highly recommend them.

Awful experience- Mask Nazis. I tried to make an appointment for a serious ongoing skin problem. I have a medical condition which does not allow me to wear a face covering. I was told no mask - no appointment no matter what [their policy]. So that leaves me with 2 choices, 1. continue to suffer OR 2. go to the office - wear a mask -[which they have forced on me] and take the chance that I will not have an attack and get sick or worse. What kind of doctor would impose this on a patient in need?

Had the appointment several days before. Went in for it, got there on time.Had given the ins card info over the phone & it looked all was good. Then find out they dont accept our insurance ANDDD would not accept my daughter as a self payer. How pathetic when she obviously needed to be seen and they wouldnt take a credit payment... very BAD service.

I have been a patient since I was a teenager. Unfortunately, they are no longer friendly to self-pay patients. Preference is given to those with insurance. In addition, when I asked about the self-pay price, the receptionist became belligerent and rude. Even my 5 year old son noticed and questioned her attitude on the way home. Now, I am faced with the big decision as to whether to stay or transfer. As a young mom, finding time to go to the doctor is stressful enough without the added stress of wondering how I will be treated by the staff and guessing what price I will be charged that day.

This is MaryAnn. I was very pleased with all the medical staff here. I have now had two basal skin cancers removed from my face. Dr. Anderson did an excellent job on my first one and I can’t even see a scar. The second was done today. I didnt feel a thing after the anesthesia. I was so pleased how well the procedure went. It is scary when procedures are needed on my face. Dr. Anderson was very kind and answered all my questions. He is excellent!

Awful experience at Lancaster Skin Center. Avoid this dermatologist! They billed me incorrectly last week on a preventative check up. When I called them to correct the invoice, the admin stated they would not mark the visit preventative because my initial call setting up the appt had listed that I was concerned about a few moles. When I arrived I made it clear I was there for a preventative check up, why else would I set up an appt? They billed my insurance incorrectly, wont reverse it and made me pay out of pocket for a check up that should have been 100% covered. I am still waiting for a call back! I will be reporting them if this does not get resolved.

Do not waste your time in this place. I’ve seen 2 different doctors twice. Each visit took 5 minutes and I was sent home to apply an ointment. Things got worse. They refused to see me without an appointment, I’ve requested to talk to the manager, the lead doctor could not spend 5 minutes to listen to my dissatisfaction. These people simply don’t care from the receptionist to the doctors , they just wan to take your money period.

Beyond frustrated with my experience yesterday. Brought my young daughter for our appointment @2:15 and when we arrived at 2:16 were told we would not be seen because she was a new patient and needed to be there 15 minutes early. My confirmation email stated my appoint was @2:15 as did the text reminder. Help me understand how I am to know the expectation and be there for the allotted time and then be refused to be see when all commutation stated the appointment time was 2:15. My daughter was in tears as she had waited for 2 months to get a growth removed. The next available appointment was offered for November 15. My husband and I were patients however after this interaction we will not be. Especially after my last appointment I waited 30 minutes after the time of my appointment to be seen. My time is just as valuable as yours!! Unacceptable to be treated this way and horrible customer service!!

First, I had to schedule my appointment over +4 Months out to get an opening. I arrived mid day, ahead of my appointment time after taking a half-day from work due to the complete lack of open slots in general, and after driving nearly a hour to get there was turned away. I did not receive the pre-registration email that I was told needed to be completed prior to visiting. I was also told the doctor is already running behind and will not have time to see you today due to this delay and complete refusal to let me complete my patient forms which could have been quickly rectified in nearly any other office. When looking for a reschedule date, I was told the next opening for another appointment was again nearly 3 months away. I wish I could write a review about the quality of care given but there is no way to be seen at this dermatologist without hassle, headache and overall lack of schedule flexibility. Keep looking!

UPDATE: Today I was trying to get my prescription filled and I found out that they did not give me the right ID# for the prescription (ipledge). So I called ipledge and found out that the doctor registered me under my old ipledge account and not the new one that they gave me and told me to use. So yet again they messed up. .....Spoke on the phone with Nancy today. Rude and unhelpful. My lab sent them my blood work weeks ago and they were supposed to call me back but never did. Had blood work re-faxed to them and the doctor was supposed to call me back and never did. I missed an appointment because I did not yet start my prescription and they insisted on charging me a $35 cancellation fee despite me PLEADING them not to (money is tight and I am already paying them a boatload). They blackmailed me into scheduling an appointment otherwise they would not send me my prescription (that I still never started). My appointment consisted of waiting in a TINY, 95 degree room for 20 minutes before the doctor came in and talked to me for about 3 minutes. I am apparently going to be blackmailed into using this office for the remainder of my treatment because I have already paid them out the wazoo... for everyone else I recommend that you AVOID HERE AT ALL COSTS.
