I was given a full body check for moles. The doctor commented I was very mole free. At the end of the check, he stated my left ear looked questionable. I thought that was odd. It never gave me any trouble, nor did it look anything but healthy. I consented to a biopsy...no prior pictures. Maybe one after a bb sized skin biopsy was taken. 5 days later the front desk girl called and said to sign up for Mohs surgery, I had squamous cells. That kind of cancer moves faster. I said no thanks Id let the biopsy heal first, it all seemed rush rush and very unprofessional. All my family are health care providers and we are wary of the system. I have excellent medical coverage and am 62 with quite good skin. I took multiple pictures as the biopsy healed nicely to pink, fresh, clean and healthy skin. I havent had a second opinion because I am changing my insurance to Kaiser, but I will, and I will pursue the ethics of this establishment. I suspect a fraudulent motive. I would never recommend this facility or go back. BTW, my ear is perfect and many of my friends agree it was a bogus play for money.He thought I would panic and have surgery., therefore destroying any hope of exposing the lie. How they justify this is easy, Im sure. But very unethical. Another review said theyre all about the checkbook. Client beware!

Peter Wolf the Nurse Practitioner is great. I mentioned to my sister who has been a health professional for years, that I saw a Nurse Practitioner and she said he is probably better then most doctors and never underestimate a Nurse Practitioner. He is fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great office.

Check in was fast and simple. Greeted upon entrance and treated with so much kindness and professionalism! Absolutely loved the care I received. They were knowledgeable and made me feel calm during my visit. I had some flat warts I had removed and I was feeling super anxious but Daisy helped me relax and had me done and ready to go in no time.

Dr. Wolff diagnosed my rash quickly and got me on medication that had it almost completely gone in a week—and right before my wedding, too! He and all the lovely office staff made me feel at ease during my visits and made the experience great—and this is coming from someone with a severe case of white coat syndrome. Would definitely recommend Dr. Wolff’s office to anyone in need of a dermatologist!

Dr Gunter has been my dermatologist for 5 years and now I have the pleasure of seeing Peter. Peter is very knowledgeable and the staff is great! Theyre all really friendly and caring.

We love Peter. My daughter have struggled with acne for a few years. Her last dermatologist and treatment were slow, with little improvement. When we move to CA we connected to Peter. He is passionate and value what he does. Although this has been a long journey, my daughters skin looks great! And because of such a positive experience she now wants to become a dermatologist.

I love this doctor! He is straight forward and him and his staff are like talking with family. They are so nice and welcoming. He also had helped my grandma win the fight with her aggressive skin cancer. Hes my dermatologist now too, and cant speak highly enough of this office.

Im so relieved to see the reviews here. I saw this Dr. years ago and he was all about the check then and its clear by the reviews things havent changed. Back then there wasnt any such media to share my review, as I am now looking for another dermatologist more than 10 years later, I feel vindicated being able to post my review now. I absolutely would not recommend this Dr for your dermatologist needs.

I found this dermatologist for my partner. He has had an issue for half his life, yet refused to see an MD. He saw Gunter in Ridgecrest. Looked, prescribed, left.He makes John return every 3 months just for the script which really helped. But thats it. Look, prescribe, leave.Now we seek for someone who REALLY cares.

The office staff is nice & Melissa the receptionist is kind to fit me in the schedule last minute. It was in and out and they froze off my wart ! Will be recommending to everyone

Awesome Doctor. Yes he came in, Took a quick glance, gave me a prescription, and left. He knew immediately the problem and the solution. He was a true Blessing for me. Busy office but the wait is worth it for a Knowledgeable Doctor with his level of experience.

The doctor takes as much time as needed with each person. Sometimes the wait is long, but probably not harmful! This is a dermatology clinic and surgery is often warranted. I would rather wait for Dr Gunter and have the procedure than go anywhere else and be referred or rescheduled.

Very rude and racist staff. When trying to talk to them about a problem they just pass the phone around from on staff member to the next, problem was never resolved. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!

Absolutely terrible doctor. Looke at my arm for 2 mins and was rushing me out of the office with a prescription and a follow up appointment. This doctor is all about a check! Stay away
