I called the office when my elderly mother couldnt swollow and the receptionist said they were booked up for over a week. I asked to please ask dr Risso to squeeze mom in since she was unable to swollow and her neck felt tight. I got a call back in a few minutes with an appointment for 3pm. The same day! I found the receptionist was polite and nurse was understanding and compassionate and no one can tell me anything negative about Dr Risso because she added to a busy day and was happy to help us.Im a nurse and I know this is beyond her responsibility but she knew that due to covid mom wont go to the ER. Dr Risso is dedicated to her profession and that is most important!

Dr. Karen Rizzo is a fantastic surgeon and I trusted her with the care of my whole family including three surgeries with very good outcomes. I love Dr. Carol St. George also and their PA Kristin Rivera. No matter who you see you cant go wrong. Excellent care all around.

Dr. Rizzo performed my sinus surgery about 8 years ago. My results have been absolutely horrible. After she messed up my turbinates, I now have a minor (thank god) case of ENS. Read up on this terrible condition if you are considering sinus surgery. My right side always swells shut at night, making it hard to sleep. Many times I have woken up in a sweat, as it feels like you are being suffocated when you mouth shuts. Rizzo was overly aggressive with my surgery.

Run, dont walk away from here! After combating a bad sinus infection for months that antibiotics alone wouldnt get rid of, Dr Rizzo performed sinus surgery that was a failure, as my symptoms returned within 2 weeks after the post surgery antibiotics wore off.To add insult to injury, I was charged over $600 each for 2, 10 minute post op visits to confirm that yep...things were still infected! $600 each for 10 minutes that included looking up my nose with a handheld scope and those outrageous visit charges were never disclosed to me ahead of time.Also while waiting there one day for my appointment, I overheard the nurses talking poorly about their medicaid patients and then the charges all made sense. To make up for the low fees received from those patients, they simply charge outrageous fees to others like myself without disclosing them fully.Dr Rizzo eroded the trust I normally placed in medical professionals and now Ive learned you have to ask every possible question you can think of before hand, and get everything in writing especially as it relates to cost.Oh, and after my failed surgery and overly expensive followup visits, the only option she presented was to have surgery again!! It was at that point I got the hell away from there and would never ever think of visiting again.Do yourself a favor and see anyone else BUT Dr Karen Rizzo.

Everything was bland and not very cheesy. I should have just made it at home.

Dr. Rizzo is an excellent, knowledgeable surgeon and trusted her with 3 family members: 2 with synoplasty and one with ear tubes. I like Dr. St. George and Kristin her PA as well. Nurses are great and so is office staff.
