The staff at A&E is very knowledgeable and dedicated. I have been a patient for a number of years and I couldn’t be happier with my experience and, of course, my hearing aids!!

Great office staff, warm and friendly, highly personable doctor. Dr. Schmidt was engaging, invested, and a strong advocate for hearing against hearing loss. The office staff had plans to dress up as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, with Dr. Jason dressing up as “Doc.” Beyond their congeniality and sense of humor though, they care very deeply for their patients, and provide good care.

Was able to get an appointment the next day for repairs. Was expecting a longer delay due to the Virus. Great service, didnt even leave my car. Thank you A&E at Lancaster.

After getting my new hearing aids, I feel like I can hear again. I didn’t realize what I was missing. I hear things the first time and don’t have to ask others to repeat. When I go out to restaurants I can participate in the conversations with my family. My wife has also gotten hearing aids that have provided relief from her tinnitus. We are both thrilled with the care we received from A&E.

Hearing correction is complicated and getting it right takes working with people that are skilled and passionate and NOT pushing a specific solution for everyone. Pricing can vary wildly and correcting hearing isnt a quick and cheap fix. A&E has been great to work with. Dr. Jason Schmitt is passionate, caring, and will LISTEN to your needs and work hard to find what works best for your needs. Rachael, and the rest of the staff, are wonderful, caring, and helpful. I want the best my hearing solution can provide and A&E has been patient with me throughout this continuing process. This is my second pair of hearing aids (Ive been in aids for nearly 8 years) and am hearing better than I have in MANY years. Some very noisy situations will always be a challenge but overall Im hearing so much better and A&Es dedication to getting me there is not unnoticed or underappreciated. Dont settle for a one-size-fits-all solution. I recommend checking out A&E but be patient, dont be afraid to ask questions, and know that improving your hearing WILL improve your life overall. My husband and I met with Dr. Helker to have our hearing tested. She spent a lot of time with us, answered all of our questions, and put us at ease through this process. I would highly recommend her and this practice!

A&E has been a pleasure to work with as I’ve adjusted to wearing my new hearing aids. They listen to me and allow me to go at my pace adapting my hearing needs. That provide me loaners when I have needed repairs to one of my hearing aids. They see me the same day I call almost every time I have called for help. I couldn’t expect better or more responsive service. Hearing aids are expensive but their expertise and service to me have been worth it. Dr. Kaplan has been beyond amazing. I am only 34 years old and am dealing with hearing loss and needing hearing aids. He has been so incredibly amazing and comforting through this whole process. He took the time to explain everything to me. I was having a really hard time accepting the fact that I needed hearing aids but he put me at ease. He told me that people go get glasses when they cant see, this is no different. I often have to bring my 3 year old with me and the whole staff has made him feel so welcome and not like hes a burden. I could give many examples of how my hearing has improved since I got fitted with new aids at A&E...Im hearing things I havent heard in years and Im having conversations in places where I wouldnt have bothered trying before. But I think I can sum it up by saying I actually have days where I forget that I have hearing loss!
