I am an established patient with Dr. Grande at the Skin Wellness Center since at least 2015, probably longer than that. I contacted their office this morning because I was experiencing a severe skin reaction to a medication (itching sensation all over body, severe rash on scalp, and less severe rash patches on my chest and extremities).I called their office right at 8 am when it opened and asked if there were any cancellations or if I could be worked into the schedule. I communicated in detail the nature of my medical situation. I was particularly concerned about hair loss due to the severity of the rash on my scalp. The receptionist with whom I spoke was borderline rude and certainly indifferent to what I believe was a situation that warranted concern. She would not offer me an appointment until at least 30 days in the future because I had not been to the Skin Wellness Center recently and was therefore considered a “new patient” again.I am disappointed and honestly appalled by a policy that would turn away an established patient experiencing a severe dermatological response. I went to the emergency department instead and required treatment with a steroid shot, prescription antihistamine, Prednisone to be taken over the next 5 days, and an ointment to be applied to my scalp for the next 10 days. I will be transferring my care to a new dermatologist.While I have had positive experiences with Dr. Grande in the past, I do not recommend the Skin Wellness Center. I suggest you look elsewhere for a dermatologist’s office with office staff who prioritize patient well-being and compassion.

Excellent. I have skin cancer issues and she has taken care of them as quickly as detected. Friendly personnel. Have always been able to get early appointments which works great with my work schedule. Would highly recommend to anyone with skin issues.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Grande for some10+ years. I see her for skin related issues and an annual total body review ( I grew up on south Florida noted for its high incidence of melanoma). Dr. Grand is an excellent physician with great bedside manner. Highly recommend her for skin issues.

I would strongly suggest seeking care elsewhere. I was a patient for several years and my concerns were disregarded. I am now finding that I have psoriatic arthritis and several other autoimmune disorders that cannot be cured, but the symptoms could have been treated and the damage slowed if only for a caring Doctor.

I visit Dr. Grande every 6 months. I am very pleased with her. She listens and takes my concerns seriously. Skin cancer is no fun and living in FL for 29 years, I want to stay on top of any skin changes.
