The doctors assistants were very efficient and friendly and made me feel comfortable. Dr Primpka also was very efficient and friendly. I was nervous about the appointment but they all made me feel calm. I highly recommend.

1st time visit. I had a growth on a sensitive area. The staff was very professional. The medical professionals who preformed the removal did so in a pain free matter, walked me through each step of the process and over all great bedside manner.I was apprehensive about having this looked at, due to the private area location. I was comfortable through the entire process. I’m so glad I had this done. The only con, is my appointment time was 3:00, I arrived at 2:40 to make sure to complete the paperwork before my appointment. It was 4:00 before my appt began. I usually expect a potential 1 hour late start when visiting a medical facility, so DAK was on par for my tempered expectations of a wait. So still a 5 star experience!

As usual Dr. Primka did a good job removing the cancer on my forehead. The nursing staff was very friendly and helpful especially the new nurse.

I was signed in and in the examination room within 30 minutes. The nurse was very supportive and empathetic. I was told every step before it happened and this helped with the apprehension I was feeling.

I had to wait about 40 minutes after my appointment time before seeing the provider. Other than that; the facility, the PA and the receptionist were excellent.

Staff was very professional and friendly. The procedure was thoroughly explained. I would highly recommend this office to others.

Once I was inside the building everything was great... very quick and efficient... however, I did spend about 30 minutes standing outside in the parking lot while the firemen tried to figure out why the fire alarm went off!

I had a very short waiting time before seeing the nurse for preparation for my procedure. Both my nurse and doctor were committed to making me feel comfortable and relaxed. They carried on cheerful conversation with me that was very caring. My procedure went extremely well and was followed by careful instructions on how I could take care of my incision at home. I was also given written duplicate of the instructions in case I missed or forgot them. A lot of smiles were shared.

Dermatology Associates of Knoxville are still practicing safety precautions at their Dowell Springs office. Temperature checks, face masks for everyone entering the office. I especially appreciate their diligence since I am a cancer survivor & live with my 2 Tupperware 1 diabetic grandchildren. I felt very safe with all protocols! They even had a box of pens to use to sign in with and a box clearly marked to put used pens in so no one had a chance to cross contaminate patients. I highly recommend this office and everyone was helpful and considerate!

Front desk very helpful with paperwork and taking payment. Nurse and Dr saw me in a timely manner. Was in and out and made next appt in less than a hour.

Dr. Primka is the best dermatologist I have ever been to in over 35 years, and I have been treated sadly by many in different cities and locations in the country that lacked his skill and knowledge. He is excellent, and it is well worth traveling 2 hrs. each way for an appointment with Dr. Primka over the past several years!

Great experience, with great office people. When you first walk in even among the Covid issues the staff was very professional and very kind. Then you get into a short wait and the nursing staff are very nice, polite and professional. When the doctor comes in an addresses any issues that you have. A plan for treatment is put into place with a follow up. There was no hesitation in what needed to be done and I was taken care of. Really like this place they do a great job.

Caution and preparation for patients during this covid situation is above expected. Extends to include reception and check in, waiting, cleanliness and prep within the individual rooms where patients are seen. I felt well informed on what was happening, when, and why. I was there to have stitches removed after a previous surgery. Total fear Factor reduced and pretty much eliminated. I was able to ask all the questions that I had and to get timely answers and develop a future course of action for follow-up.

We saw Blake Childress. I was nervous because we were being seen for a spot on my little girls face, she is 21 months old and hasn’t been around many people due to covid and I didn’t know how she was going to do with a stranger up in her face. Childress is who you want to see if you have a little one. He has a kind energy and was very sweet and you could tell he has children or has worked with them and knows how to handle them. And I hope I don’t ever need to see him myself but that’s who I will chose if the time comes. The staff at check in were extremely polite and nice. The waiting room was safe as far as covid goes. A lot of mandates have been lifted but they still had every other chair blocked off, clean & dirty pen cups, and sanitizer at every check in/out spot. Also, signs posted that masks are required & to make sure they are covering mouth and nose at all times. I really appreciated that because I’m pregnant and unvaccinated and still trying to be very cautious. We really had a good experience.

I was diagnosed with small cell basal skin cancer and had to go for MOHS surgery...My experience was excellent! The staff was extremely friendly and compassionate in answering all my questions during my procedure❤️ I would recommend them to anybody that needed this procedure! Thanks again😃
