Dr. Smith really sees things through. I had to have some fillings done, and one of the fillings caused the tooth to shift ever so very slightly that, all though indiscernible to me in feel or by appearance, it caused my bite to be just different enough that it took impact against the crown above in a different way, and it caused sensitivity for me when chewing. Dr. Smith promptly brought me back in and was very thorough to find out the source of the sensitivity, to correct it, and even to perform X-rays to make certain there was nothing left to be addressed. She listened carefully to me and explained what she was thinking and doing thoroughly. The sensitivity was resolved by her follow-up work, and I paid nothing for the extra time in the chair getting the issue straightened out. I really appreciate her dedication to excellent work and great patient care!Less important than the great work itself, but always nice, the atmosphere of the whole office is wonderful, and Dr. Smith is great with my kids. They love going to the dentist, and I love that the whole family can be seen together. Life for a mom is so much easier when everybody leaves happy!

I am 73 years old and I have never in that whole time been to a dentist as kind and considerate as this dentist is. She explains everything to you that needs to be done and asks you what you would like for her to do. She cares about you as a person and doesnt try to force anything on you. Her office is neat and clean and very comfortable. You can watch TV while she works on you which takes your mind off what is being done. Everyone in her office are very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this dentist. I have moved four hours away and I still come to see her. You wont be disappointed.

From a front reception welcome like none other, to tvs as the visual while procedures happen, to the actual dentist, cleaning teeth and tooth removal, herself! Hygenist, hillariously warm, over the top smart and SO helpful! I am 62, and have had about 5 years back and forth of difficulty and progression coupled with high charges and the pandemic. Dr. Smith put my mind at ease, my fears have subsided, and I have begun the work on my mouth. No pain. No unexpected outcomes. Bill, exactly what I was told it would be prior to committment. I appreciated all of the details provided for my comfort during my visits-being asked if I would like a blanket to stay warm, being able to watch a show while having the work done on my teeth, and being asked throughout the process on how everything was feeling. I also appreciate how Dr. Smith is very thorough and authentic. She was very upfront with what she saw with my teeth, and explained her reasons for her recommendations. I believe she truly wants whats best for her patients. Really glad we visited Dr. Smith and her brand new office.

Best experience Ive ever had at the dentist. Went in for my initial exam and a cleaning. On four of my front teeth I have bonding that is almost 20 yrs old. After Dr. Smith polished them, they look almost as good as new! I never expected that. My teeth feel and look so clean.

Just took my 7 year old in for his 6 month check up, and he said , he wished everyday was a dentist day! Dr. Tristen is great with kids! My entire family loves going there. The office staff is friendly and the atmosphere is calming.

Dr. Tristen Smith was amazing. Ive moved around a lot and have therefore had a lot of dentists. i have to rank Dr. Smith as the best dentist Ive seen as an adult (I had a great dentist as a kid). I know she has been a dentist for years but recently opened her own practice. She has a great location and her staff is also amazing. I think one of the reasons I was so impressed was that she and her staff are genuine. The last dentist I had I didnt know at all, despite going to him for 6 years. Hed make the same lame small talk during his 1-minute exam after my cleaning, Boy this is getting to be a hot summer....Oh those Vols had a bad game.... Dr. Smith was genuinely interested in me and we had a nice chat before, sort of during, and after my exam and cleaning.A friend recommended Dr. Smith and her location and hours made it easy to try. It was the best cleaning Ive ever had, her exam encompassed things Id never seen before, and I left with such a good feeling that I want others to give her a try.One HUGE benefit right now during Covid is that she does NOT see 30 patients a day like so many of the other offices. She has three separate workspaces and she only sees one patient at a time in the office. There arent 10 other patients getting cleanings. I dont walk in and sit right down where someone else had been a couple minutes before. I was told that each work area gets a thorough cleaning between patients and is vacant for at least an hour between patients.If its time for your cleaning and you are a bit worried about going to your high volume dentist, give Blue Dog a try. Cant say enough nice things about her. Best dentist Ive had in 30 years, at least.

I had a wonderful experience at Blue Dog Family Dentistry. All employees were very nice, helpful, and abiding by Covid-19 precautions. Dr. Smith was very knowledgable and spent the entire visit in the room working on my teeth with her dental hygienist. I have never had a dentist spend that much time with me at a dental appointment. I was able to ask any and all questions without feeling rushed. The facility was nice, clean, and new. I am very happy with my visit and will be a returning patient. I highly recommend them!

Absolutely no competition the best dentist I have ever been to. Unfortunately, I have not had access to dental care for the majority of my life. Other dentists have always made me embarrassed and ashamed of it. Not Dr. Smith! I had my first appointment yesterday at Blue Dog and couldn’t be more pleased. Dr. Smith and her staff are amazing. My whole experience from making the appointment to confirming insurance to my visit was flawless and thorough. I’m a big chicken when it comes to doing anything for my teeth and the staff made me feel welcome and calm. This is the best dental experience I’ve had to date. I don’t have kids but they have a great movie room for them and you can watch TV while you have your cleaning. The exam was so thorough and Dr. Smith explains every step of the way. She gave me a great ‘doggie bag’ as well. The office is so warm and welcoming. I made my next 6-month appointment already. So pleased! Thanks Tonda, Dr. Smith and Katelyn!!! I also appreciated the late appointment she offered. She really caters to her patients. Their technology and equipment is top notch as well. Side note: you can have bubble gum toothpaste instead of mint – WOO HOO!

Our experience yesterday was fabulous! The process of becoming a new patient and having my first cleaning at this office was incredibly personable. Afterwards, my whole family decided to become patients at Blue Dog as well.

I had an emergency and they took me in on very short notice. They have a very friendly staff and a welcoming environment. I have always been very nervous at dental offices but Blue Dog put me right at ease.

I absolutely love this place! And I’ve never said that about a dentist’s office before. I hate going to the dentist with a passion! I’ve always had rough cleanings that leave me very uncomfortable and I’ve never had a good cavity-fixing experience, which, who has? But I had an amazing experience here! All the staff members are so friendly and welcoming! I had a very easy first visit with xrays and a cleaning and was quickly booked for the next week to fix some cavities! I hate all things needles and this was the best experience I’ve ever had. The needles didn’t bother me one bit and my cavities were fixed in record time, all while watching HGTV! And they were even able to get my 4 and 2 year olds into the dentist chair which was a shocker! I will no longer wait over a year and a half (plus) to see the dentist.
