My elderly mother has a standing appointment every Thursday with Pam. She has used the same stylist for 30 years. She has always been pleased with the service and all the ladies are friendly and helpful. Ross the Boss also offers facial waxing for those in need of such services. The new location is smaller in size but this doesnt ruin the experience. The reminder text message for your appointment time is a nice feature. Just reply with C to confirm and youre all set. If you have a schedule conflict, Amber is quite helpful in getting you a new day and or time for an appointment.

I had my haircut and colored by Sandy. She did an amazing job. She was prompt, friendly and listened to everything I had to say. She really knows hair. I felt completely confident the entire time she was doing my hair. I highly recommend Sandy. She is a FANTASTIC hairdresser.The ladies at the front desk who greeted me were lovely as well.

Amanda is amazing!! I had a horrible hair cut on vacation in Florida, and Amanda took her time to fix my hair perfectly! It was a big fix, but she was so sweet, genuine, and an amazing hair dresser!! I have been going to the Knox Plaza Ross for 15+ years. I have moved around Knoxville several times around I always make sure to drive back and see Jess Howard. Shes does a consistent, fantastic job, every time. We also have a good time and laughter is expected. Amber at the front desk makes scheduling and checkout a breeze. Everyone is a lot of fun! I cannot remember ever waiting past my appointment reservation. Just a great place, that’s why I stay here!

As a guy with long hair, its hard to find a place that can cut my hair well without making me feel really out of place. Tina did a fantastic job and Ill definitely be coming back.

Every staff member was courteous and gentle through all aspects of the hair styling process. Pam was my stylist and she made sure that I was completely satisfied with my haircut.

I have had a difficult time finding a barber to cut my hair in a fashion I liked. I tried local barbers and higher end places (Franks) and was never happy. A dear friend recommended Ross the Boss (Amanda). So a little reluctant I went and after 23 years of military high and tights I ventured into the big world of a regular hair cut. Amanda greeted me with much enthusiasm at the counter as I checked in. What a relief to get there and actually start at my scheduled appointment time! She was very friendly and soon we were chatting making a plan for my big ole head to get my hair to match it accordingly. I must say I knew right away I have found my new barber. Many times in the past you go home and shower and it doesnt look exactly as it did in the salon. Well it looks better. I am so happy and I have found my home. I would highly recommend you request Amanda and if your experience is anything like mine you will not be disappointed.
