My sister has a hearing disability and severe social anxiety as a result of a stroke she had a few years ago. She went in today to purchase over 290$ of Christmas gifts for me while I was at work. I had to send her the money once she found out how much it would cost. The card initially declined while she was waiting for me to send it to her. The staff at the register (4:30 pm) were extremely rude and disrespectful to her and acted as if she couldn’t pay for her purchase. She is terrified of going in public and has only recently began trying again. I don’t care how crazy the holidays are- you should treat people with the dignity they deserve. Let it be known this location is rampant with bullies. Don’t go there unless you are mentally prepared for that. She doesn’t know I posted this, because she is a sweetheart and would never speak bad on anyone. As someone coming from a position of management, I was appalled. I just thought anyone thinking of shopping here should know.

This was my first time walking into Ulta since the pandemic started everything was so clean and I felt safe. All of the staff was super friendly especially FaithAnn, she was absolutely amazing! She is such a friendly sweet soul. I came in with so many questions and she answered every single one and on top of that she went into detail on which products would work best for my skin! I wish there were more people like her, because of my overall experience and FaithAnn I will be a regular customer:)

My wife and daughter were planning a mother and daughter trip here, they get their hair cut a few times a year, were really looking forward to it. My wife called and scheduled an appointment over the phone with a male. She told him everything she wanted to have done. No concerns were presented and then on the big day my wife and daughter go and they dont have time to do my wifes hair. She texted me very upset. I called this establishment to express my concern as I own a few businesses and customer service is something that is a top priority for our businesses and I was hoping they would be responsive. Well, no such luck, all I got was a bunch of excuses. The lady who answered the phone kept cutting me off every time I tried to talk. I would patiently and politely wait while she went on and on with every excuse under the sun as to why my wife cant have her hair done. The excuses included, but were not limited to, she didnt come in for a consultation (my wife was never told she had to or was suppose to), another appointment was scheduled too close to my wifes appointment (not our problem, thats your problem), my wife didnt make the appointment in person (again, was never told this was required or recommended), my wifes hair is too thick and therefore would take too long to work on (again, nothing was mentioned or asked when she called to make the appointment), my wifes hair is too dark to color the way she wanted (my wife expressed this was what she wanted to do when she called). Again, tons of excuses, nothing positive, every time I tried to explain why this not really acceptable I was cut off with more excuses. I asked to speak with a manager who I was told was unavailable and by the end of the conversation was available. The manager did absolutely nothing to try to salvage our business. There was a lot of I am sorry but... My wife and daughter will not be returning. Just a tip from one business owner to another, read the book Customer Service Worthless, Customer Loyalty is Priceless. It will definitely point out the major issue going on at your establishment and it could definitely help you retain business, limit bad reviews, and possibly one day may even save your business.

This location of Ulta is not as nice as the one in Bearden off Papermill. Here the staff seem very on edge and concerned with shop lifters. Normally, this chain is very hands on, but this store is not so much.

I am not a make up person but this store has a lot of other things that make it special to me. Lots of hair care products and more. I recommend it to everyone.

It was extremely difficult to even find an employee to help me. When I finally did get someone, the employee was very nice. But being ignored the whole time up to that point is what gives this rating. The store itself was fairly well stocked overall, but was still out of stock of the items I was looking for.

This location has the nicest & most helpful associates! Recently stopped at this location due to being in the area & was very impressed with their staff. Will gladly pass my closer location up for the service I received at this one!

Ive never shopped at Ulta before. The store was crowded. I didnt know where to look for what I needed so I sought out assistance. Kelsey listened to what I needed and took me right to the product. She showed me a choice of colors and I chose one. She took the time with me despite the store being crowded. Job well done.

This place has lots of stuff that I love so thats what makes it great but its the staff that makes me give it such a low rating. Ive gone in this store several times and not once has a sales clerk asked me if I needed assistance. Also once I check out the clerks at the register are not friendly by any means and I wish there was another Ultra around because I would go there but unfortunately Im stuck with the rude staff at this one. 🤨😠

She works wonders on my hair and my daughter’s. She helps me be a blonde again and she has had all sorts of creative fun with my daughter’s natural red hair. She’s taken me from waist length to ear length and now I’m back to past my shoulders. My daughter has a luxurious long mane. Our styles are so talentedly done, that when we could not see her during quarantine, we still looked good. Since losing my Italian stylist when I quit modeling, I’ve searched so many places - in many states - and found no one even close to being as talented as Michaela - she truly has a gift that I’m thankful she shared with us.

Abreea is the absolute definition of phenomenal!!! She specializes in blonde, and knows every aspect of her profession. She took my previously bleached hair with color levels ranging from level 3 roots and level 8-10 hair to an even beautiful platinum, in one visit. She did in 1 visit what 3 stylists in over a year could not do! If you are looking for a dramatic transformation that you have been told is unattainable, go see Abreea. I went in to return a gift i received from an Aunt who passed away. She had gotten me several thing including a Urban Decay eyeshadow in Tonic. I already had that particular color so all I wanted was a different color. (These are 21.00$ shadows) They told me to pick out what shadow I wanted & then AFTER I came back up to the register the manager proceeds to tell me that the computer only wants to give you 49cents for your (unopened/new) shadow. She was not the nicest or friendly about it. She didnt even try to find a solution. I DID shop at ULTA quite a bit before this.

I went to this Ulta to purchase a lot of products. Having been in quarantine for a couple of months and anxious to do a new tutorial. As soon as I walked in there was a display of Jeffree Starr products and I wanted to purchase 1 of everything! I asked the sales person the iprice on one of the items and she shrugged and went away. I then walked to some other items and had some questions but there was no help around. When I saw the sales girl again she rushed past me, an obvious buyer! Very stuck up attitude. Also, a dirty mask on the floor. When I went to check out I informed the cashier of the situation and she offered no apology or explanation. I ended up purchasing some concealer and lip gloss. I had saved up to have an all out shopping spree. I am a make-up lover and purchase several times a week. I will never go to this Ulta again and will share my experience with others. Beautiful salespeople on the outside but zero knowledge of products or professionalism.

I LOVE getting my hair cut at Ulta in Turkey Creek! Megan always does a great job, and everyone is so nice! I love the Ulta rewards program, and I can get points for my salon visits too! Being able to go to the salon on Sundays is a plus too!

I love this ulta, its a very organized and clean store all around. They always have a wide variety of options and brands to choose from and its usually very well displayed/easy to find. I only have 2 complaints about this store, 1) they hardly have my shade of foundation in the brands I love but thats probably because its a very common shade and 2) while the checkout staff is almost always super friendly and helpful Ive found that the floor sales staff to be rather rude towards me, and especially my mom. If were on the drug store side, were never asked if we need help and even on the high-end side of the store the staff pretty much just avoid us and are very vague if I go directly to them. Luckily I always do research before I shop and I know what Im looking for, but I can imagine it isnt like that for most people.

Jennifer is an amazing stylist. After moving, I tried 5 different people before finding the one who knew how to handle my thick wavy hair.

My friend was repeatedly misgendered here even after she corrected the woman. It was completely rude and uncalled for. This is not a safe environment for anyone to buy cosmetics. Dont give them your money.

We got great advice from Nicolette and enjoyed talking with her. We bought a product on her recommendation about which we were sceptical and were quite pleased. Prices were comparable to other places.

When we called they said an item was not available even though it said they had it online. They did have it in the store when we checked anyway later that day. Other than that and a weird layout for hair products a decent store.

For eyebrows, Dani is the best!! I’ve been going to her for years and I would never let anyone else touch my brows. She is seriously talented and has such a great personality!

Great place, Michaela is a sweetheart, kind, patient and probably the most skilled hair cutter youll find there. The other stylists always seem a bit grouchy. The lady at the brow bar made me feel uncomfortable.

Abreea J is who you need to do your hair! She is knowledgeable and super fun to talk to! She took her time on my hair (because there’s a lot) and got me to the color I’ve been wanting. I recommend her 15/10! So happy to be one of her clients now.

Always Ulta! It is a sad day indeed when when I cant find something I need in Ulta. 😆 This Utla has a huge selection of NYX and Elf, which I like I because theres a few good products in both lines but a lot of places dont carry everything.

I get my hair done at The Salon at Ulta in Turkey Creek. Ulta is always clean, has lots of helpful people, is well priced and I never worry about the quality of work I will get. I absolutely love getting pampered and am always confident that Zach is taking great care of my hair. From Color, cut and style he is you guy!

I was in an extreme hurry but REALLY needed my Bare Minerals foundation. I walked in and was welcomed by an employee who asked if she could help. The store was clean and well stocked so I found my shade and was able to check out quickly. The staff was not high pressure which is nice when you are in a rush and need to get in and out. It was probably my fastest trip to Ulta but as always it was a good experience

The staff is very professional and kind and extremely helpful in all aspects. I can say from frequent experience that the employees genuinely care about every customers satisfaction when they leave. Very clean and organized. Sephora at west town is a joke compared to this Ulta. Absolutely no complaints. Plus there are lots of great deals and specials going on all the time here.

Ever feel like a store really doesnt care of it gets your business or not? That was me today in this store. Everything I went in there for sorry, we dont carry that any more. Sorry, we dont have the bottles to give you a free sample even though theres a sign saying you can get a free bottle. I went in here and left buying nothing, which is shovking for me considering Im an Ulta platinum rewards member. I guess Ill just shop online.

Took my daughter to get her hair colored and trimmed for her birthday and it turned out beautiful! Jen is an amazing stylist. The staff were all fun to talk to and didnt mind me standing back there to watch.

This location has the worst customer service. I normally refuse to shop this location based on past poor experiences. However, I ended up at this location yesterday to purchase some prestige products. I was looking for recommendations and color matching from the prestige staff. I approached her once she finished helping another client and she showed me one shelf and took off. No personal service at this location. I ended up going across the street to the Sephora at JCP and received the guidance I needed. The leadership at this Ulta really needs to focus on improving customer service.

Ive never had a problem with this location, and Ive been a lot. I use the Brow Bar to get my eyebrows done, and theyre always so wonderful. I can get help if I need it, and theyve been nothing but polite and fun with me.

I’m a dude and I go and smell the colognes when I’m out that way. Every time I go, this one lady named Donna with blonde hair, a little older than me but is very nice and pretty, helps me out every time. Gives me the coffee beans so I can smell them the correct way, sprays them for me and gives her opinion. I thought she was just the cologne lady but after seeing her walk around and answer questions for other younger girls, I found out she’s a manager. She spends all that time with me and others and still does that good. Y’all are lucky to have that lady. I watched her do that with another guy too so it’s not just me, which I’m bummed I’m not her favorite, but she’s good. I’ve bought I think 5 from y’all simply bc of this woman.

This Ulta is the worst ulta I have ever been to. I’ve never had a retail place be as rude to me as this ulta was. I normally go to the location on papermill and will never go into this location again. This store does not know how to treat a human being properly. Would give 0 stars if I could and would never recommend any of my friends coming to this location.

Tried to use a $15 gift card and when I tried to swipe it the card kept saying error, then I was told my balance was $0. The cashier nor the manager could help me. They referred me to call Ulta Guest Services. I called them and that girl could not clearly explain what they were going to do to confirm I did have funds on this card. She finally concluded I would get an email for a follow up. Too much run around for an error the cashier, manager and guest services all admitted they had been seeing. I never have anyone offer to help me at this store and parking is usually nonexistent. I want to shop at Ulta but all of this makes it very difficult for me to justify even coming here.

The employees are very rude. No one offered to help me as I looked and looked at a makeup brand, instead they just stood there talking to each other. I walked through the store looking at several things and not once did anyone offer to help. Again I saw other employees just standing around talking to each other. One employee almost ran into me in an isle and looked at me as if it was my fault and never said a word. The most helpful person was a young male cashier. He was very polite and friendly.

Got my eyebrows done by a really good girl at the brow bar who sadly no longer works there,but I feel as if all the people at the brow bar know what theyre doing .The staff is very friendly and helpful to help you find what you are looking for if you need help .I prefer this location over the papermill one .

The salon at Ulta in Turkey Creek saved the day on my wedding day. Our hairstylist flaked on the day-of, and as it was a Sunday and a holiday weekend, most salons were closed. My bridesmaids had the brilliant idea to call Ulta, and they really came through! After our experience there I really wish we had just booked with them originally.The manager called in extra staff to accommodate me and my 6 bridesmaids. While the stylists could have - quite reasonably - been grumpy about being called in in the AM on their day off, they were all friendly and helpful. Me and my bridesmaids had a great time chatting with each other and the stylists, transforming what could have been a very stressful situation into a pleasant one.They got everyones hair done with plenty of time for me to get to my make-up appointment and for the bridesmaids to return to the hotel to do their make up and collect their dresses before we were due at the venue. Everyone got a different hairstyle, but they all looked great and held up well for the entire evening. I cannot recommend them enough for wedding parties!

Abreea at the salon is an absolute dream! My hair is naturally brunette but I’d always dreamed of having silver blonde hair — something that is extremely hard to do if at all possible. Not only is she honest and professional, but she has the best interest for the integrity of your hair in mind to get you to your desired result without damaging it in the process.
