They seem to have lost their mission.

After I got three of the staff fired the program started getting a little better the kids theyre pretty much being babysitted and even though their 20-something years old they act like theyre 14 and show their insecurities like crazy but I would advise that they teach a little bit more Independence to the children there. The kids are losers and they think theyre all tough but are 100% talk they are just wimps. Its really sad to see so many insecure low lives that have no future all suppressed in one little room. sadly I dont think anyone there is going to go anywhere especially with how the staff baby them. None of them want to better themselves. Just a bunch of squares, posers, an insecure losers that arent socially accepted into society. I have a pretty fun full and exciting life so I try not to let there depressing vibe affect me. I go there once in awhile to get some clothing or grab a snack. I just feel so bad for all of them because they dont do anything but just hang out there and go to library. It must be really depressing to live the lives they live. I feel so embarrassed for them to because they hate on me when really theyre just jealous that Im better than them.

Very caring staff, love to donate clothing and baby items here. Forget Goodwill, bring your items here, there not trying to make a profit.

Many well-thought-out resources for homeless youth and young families

The kids are very respectful and they are working hard to make a better life

Geared towards helping young people, they gave me a packed lunch and bus fare but couldnt help me with emergency, safe place to stay. Any troubled teen would benefit greatly from these organizations.

Friends of youth operates the Landing emergency shelter, the Landing location is Suite A-1 16225 NE 87th St. Redmond. why does this location have an unofficial name? the only way to get information about it is from the friends of youth website. if its an emergency shelter it needs better advertising for the homeless crisis in this region.

This places helps break up immigrant families. They house detained children. A disgrace to the community.
