Me and my wife wanted to make this our primary care clinic. I came in for my first checkup and they had me sit in a room. After sitting in there for over 30 min waiting for the doctor I asked them to cancel the appointment and I left. Completely wasted my time, had to take off of work and had my wife and kid with me.EDIT: in their reply below they said they informed me of the delay. That is not true. They never told me there would be a delay. That is why I left.

The physicians I’ve seen here have been great. It’s getting to that part that is terrible. I’ve been in the medical field for 20+ years and have worked in many clinics and hospitals. I have never once worked for someone that couldn’t fit in a sick patient. Terrible receptionists. Very long wait times (assuming terrible scheduling). Waited 45 minutes one time. 1 hour another. I hope the quality of care gets better to back up their Dr’s. Maybe the Dr’s need to stop accepting new patients if they can’t accommodate their existing ones? I will not be returning.

Front desk staff was very rude. When I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment, she told me I was late and insisted that I got appointment time wrong. When I told her their staff called me to reschedule to the current time, she printed out a piece of paper to show me what’s in their record. Won’t recommend this location to anyone.

At first this place seemed great. After some time though it became apparent that they were only interested in money and not the actual care of their patients. They tried to make me jump through multiple hoops that were not necessary to charge me multiple times. When trying to reach my doctor through the phone to avoid some of the steps, they hung up on me. Unbelievable.

Revised my review because i saw a change from the receptionists. Nurses welcoming and nicer. Dr. Victoria as awesome as ever. Has time to really show care. Pacmed is changing i think. Will keep an eye and wont hesitate to revisit the review.

I feel my basic medical needs are met thus the 3 star score. I have found myself feeling like cattle being herded with the tracking device they give us when we go in. I have experienced staff in the lab not greeting patients as they come in or shortly there after, and then literally argue with each other in front of a fair amount of waiting people. More than once I have had to advocate, sternly, for myself and not allow sudden medication changes being made without a Dr. knowing me and my body. Like I said, I get my basic medical needs met but am not a fan overall.

Dr Victoria Shimotsu - They started my appointment 19 minutes late and then told me they didn’t have time to do my physical after they already brought me back to the room. They spent more time telling me they didn’t have time for me than they did taking care of my health concerns. I told her to just do a pap then if there’s no time. She billed me for a full physical including a pap when I did not receive a full physical. She also said she completed a glucose test and other tests that were 100% not done. I only had a pap. Talked about anxiety I’d been feeling and was rushed out. I was a new patient to her office and it’s not surprising she’s taking new patients because i doubt she retains patients at all.

As far as the doctor and nursing staff, theyre great. I have to give this bad review because the lady working in the lab was terrible. I sat there for an hour waiting for her to finish her personal cellphone conversations. Finally I get her to acknowledge me and says um its after 5, so were closed. Excuse me, Check your sign in sheet. I checked in at 3:41. That gave you an hour and 19 minutes to do a simple blood draw that takes 2 minutes. I will not return to this location again.

I recently moved from Ludington, MI to Kirkland, WA and needed to get connected to new doctors quickly. I was able to quickly schedule consults with Drs. Lundt, Park, and Parikh. I thought I was getting great care in MI until I met these three doctors. Each one has been very open to my quesitons, dedicated to my care, friendly and easy to work with, and articulate in describing whats going on with me and the options I have. I am so impressed with these doctors that I think they saved my life and eliminated several degerative conditions. I highly recommend all three doctors.

I have been taking my mother here for years. Dr. Swenson has always gone out of her way to help. I find her to be a compassionate and caring doctor who is always willing to listen and takes time with the elderly. We are very lucky to have her.

Took my daughter in to have a wound infection inspected. We were seen by Jana Struckel, MD. She administered my daughter an expired tetanus vaccine. She called to apologize later to tell me her mistake and was very glib about “mistakes happen and she is very sorry.” I asked their policy on administering medications and their policy is to have two separate people check dates. Clearly they didn’t follow policy. She gave me an attitude for being upset about the mistake. I have zero faith in this clinic or her ability to treat patients responsibly. A date check is not hard, I check dates before serving or consuming any type of food. I have adjusted my personal policy to never let someone administer a drug or vaccine to my children until I’ve personally seen the packaging and expiration date myself. This is unacceptable treatment and completely avoidable. Patients beware.

I have connective tissue diseases that are complicated and frustrating for most doctors. I have multiple doctors at PacMed. Not only are they kind and cordial...they are knowledgeable. And if they don’t know something, they do not hesitate to refer me to doctors that do. I would recommend this group to anyone, especially anyone with chronic illnesses.

If I could give a negative review I would. Unless youre in the market for euthanasia stay away from pac med clinics. Theyre only interested in their profit margin and report with insurance companies other than that patients are treated worse than animals, especially the elderly and the young.

Pacific Medical Center (not just the Totem Lake location) has disappointed me in every aspect. They charged a co-pay for an annual physical, which is free under my insurance. Even when I protested they still said I owed them a co-pay and have made no efforts to correct their mistake. If you ask ANY questions about your health at an annual physical the doctor will change the appointment to a consultation instead of physical and thus trigger a co-pay. The only way to actually get the free annual physical covered by insurance is if you walk in and dont even talk to the doctor, just sit there and shut up. Dont discuss your health at all or it becomes a consultation. Free annual physicals are just smoke and mirrors with Pac Med.I scheduled an appointment for an annual physical on the phone and when I arrived at my appointment I was told the appointment was made for establishment of care. When I told them I had never heard of that, it was not mentioned on the phone and my five family members who had already been seen at Pac Med Totem Lake never had one, they just shrugged their shoulders and continued to process me for the wrong type of appointment. They DO NOT LISTEN to customers.I scheduled an appointment using the online site, received an auto email stating somebody will call me in 24 hours to finalize the appointment. Nobody ever called. I waited for one month. I tried to schedule the same appointment again, got the same auto email and this time somebody called me. I was informed that the appointment I scheduled online required a referral from the primary care provider as required by my insurance. The lady I talked to told me she would contact my primary care providers staff and try and get a referral. Fast forward to the day of my appointment and I had never heard back from Pac Med. I called to make sure my appointment was still schedule and was informed it was cancelled. Nobody ever told me it was cancelled or provided any kind of follow up.Follow up: Oct 2019. Pac Med sent us a bill for immunizations that was covered by our insurance. Never should have received a bill. This is the second time Pac Med has sent us a bill in error. When calling customer service to inquire about the bill I was on hold for 20 minutes before hanging up without getting to speak to anybody. The second time I called I was hung up on by the customer service agent after stating my name and why I was calling. The third time I called.....well, Im still on hold as I type this review.Follow up: Aug 2020. 10 months after my sons FREE preventative annual physical we received a bill for a co-pay. When calling to find out why we received a bill for a co-pay for a FREE preventative annual physical covered by our insurance, we were told that if a patient answers any questions from the Dr. about their health or asks the Dr. any questions about their health PAC MED will then change the visit from a physical and then charge a co-pay. So in effect, you see a doctor once a year but in that 30 minute appointment you are not allowed to discuss your health or PAC MED will say its no longer a physical. THIS IS DIRTY AND DISHONEST! Even on the phone billing said this is a common complaint! Even if your insurance plan allows for a FREE annual physical PAC MED will not allow it! They will scapegoat you for a co-pay NO MATTER WHAT!

Went to the appointment and was treated like an animal by this woman, Ginger Ruddy, who calls herself a doctor. She accused me of being at fault for people getting sick because I refused the flu shot and then she started telling me which part of my body would need plastic surgery, without even asking her opinion. She ask me to not enter the clinic next time I come and be seen at the door so people wouldnt get sick from me.She is the worst doctor ever! She even billed me twice for the same visit and forced me pay a huge bill as she is one of the most expensive doctors there. Pacmed, wrongly informed me that they are contracted with my insurance and made me think I will not pay anything for the visit. Instead, they sent me a 850 dollars bill and told me that the insurance plan I chose is not working at their clinic....Pacmed is the big thief!!! Useless I tried to talk to the manager and billing department. They just know they want the money and I have to pay that monster doctor for an extra visit. Basically she double charged me inventing an assessment she never did.

Ive been a patient for Pacific Medical Center for several years now, mostly going to the Totem Lake clinic, but also at the Mill Creek clinic. All I can say is that I completely concur with the other negative reviews on here. The staff is unqualified, unfriendly, and will do anything to pass you onto someone else. The PT I went to see at the Mill Creek office, Courtney Rogers, should have her PT license revoked. I came in with a herniated disc (which hadnt been diagnosed at the time because they didnt do any kind of assessment other than asking me what my pain level was), and her treatment was to talk to me for 15 minutes then asked me to come back in a couple of days. When I told her that that was unacceptable, that I was looking for some kind of actual professional treatment since I was paying for it, she had me lie down on a table and put the electro stimulation on my back...only making my spasms worse. Finally, she asked me to lay on their traction table and attempted to hook me up. She clearly didnt know how to use the machine, and when it finally started pulling on me, it only made matters worse. Heres the kicker: after spending my $20 co-pay (per visit), I get a bill for over $100 per visit as well, which is the portion not covered by insurance. After haggling with their billing department, they only agreed to waive one of the visit charges (although there was no refund for my co-pay), and said they would send me a new bill. Two months pass, and no bill, but I get a call from a collections agency saying I now owe them over $200 (once the collections agency adds in their % for interest). I call and talk to Joely in their billing department, who is apparently the person who runs the show since I was denied to speak to a manager. She didnt remember the conversation we had and basically dismissed my argument. No recourse whatsoever, except to pay the collections agency or risk having it go on my credit record. This place is a disgusting racket - take your health care needs elsewhere - youll be much better off.

Front desk staff were robotic and cold. The physician I saw Swenson, was very cold, impersonalable, insensitive and seemed not to have very good listening skills. I walked out feeling like I wasted my time. She addressed NOTHING! I was so upset that I started crying in the car. I was sick, in pain with a busted knee and saw a quack!
