I have gone to the IPA for years and was provided great relief so I must explain this low rating. After numerous injections and nerve ablation the shots finally stopped working and literally put me on my back for 3 days. After follow up consultation the narrative PUSHED was the internal tinge unit to trick the nerves from L1-L5 into thinking nothing was wrong versus fusion surgery. I felt pressured into making a decision, like I was on their time being seen as a patient. I opted for a second opinion to an advanced neurosurgeon to perform the fusion in Austin. With a new set of limitations and trying to get documentation for the VA it has been a complete disaster. You call, of course listen to your choices and select medical records. The recording says they are currently with another patient you will be given a call in in the next 24 to 48 hours and not to call back or you will be reset in the numbered sequence which may cause delays. I waited 3 weeks and no call, called back and the same message, no return call, waited 10 days and called back same recording and again no return call. So I am going on 2 months, no return call, no medical records, and no idea how to get them to respond other than getting on a plane since I now live out of state and fly to Killeen Texas to physically retrieve my medical records. This is completely unacceptable and the worst customer service I have ever seen or had to deal with. I should be paid for my time having to deal with this issue. Im pretty sure I could chisel my records in stone faster than the service I have received. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Horrible bedside manners , when Scott realizes youre no longer his cash cow .. he and his staff will find a way to get you out.. he was all about the amniotic fluid injections until tri care pulled the plug on that.. if you live and suffer with chronic pain I would suggest that you find someone else.. this man is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY he can scam from your insurance.. I wouldnt trust him to stick a needle in a orange.. thanks for messing up my right arm SCOTT..

My mom has been his patient for over ten years now. In the beginning dr irvine was a great pain manager but as his business grew his patient care declined. My mom has had trouble getting in to see him and is always having to call repeatedly to get her medication straight with her pharmacy. *****Today my mom had an appointment to get her perceptions refilled (every 2 months) the office called and told her (last minute) that since she had her spinal stimulator put in by a back specialest (NOT DR IRVINE) that she had to either see him or her primary for her pain medications. This left us scrambling to get in to see her primary for refills. **** In my opinion this is a poor excuse for a pain management dr if you want pain relief i would find another clinic to use.

I have been a patient of Dr. Scott Irvine with Intergrated Pain Clinic for 10 years during which time he has taken care of my back. I do not trust any other Dr to care for my back. He has not only taken care of my back but he has taken the time to know me, not just medically but personally. I would highly recommend Dr Irvine to anyone and Intergrated Pain Clinic in whole.

Ive been in pain for over 15yrs lower back and down both legs to my toes. Ive been on the biggest drugs there are fentianole think thats how you spell it dont know just know its 80× stronger than pure morphine and I was on that for over 3 years and still working till I came here, he said he wanted to get me off that and have a better life, at first I was like yea what ever like you care, but now I know he does Im on methadone now a low dose and Im getting shots into my back and no they dont take all the pain away but dont think anything will just to far gone for that now. 9 surgeries 2 implants. But he has helped me from a 8/9 to a 6/7 that is huge to me and if your in real pain thoes numbers will mean the same to you as they do me. So if you can give him a try but on your first visit make sure you see him not an attending ok.... because I cant speak for them they are not Dr Irvine

Arrogant, rude, terrible bedside manner. Accuses his patients of being drug seeking and doesnt believe or listen to a word you say. He knew he was done with me the moment he walked in the door. I have never been treated so badly by a doctor. Hes obviously jaded and needs to retire. So dont come here unless you want to flush your money directly down the toilet.
