Hes not soft and seems a bit gruff, but he diagnosed me when others couldnt. He will communicate with your other doctors if you let him to make sure youre getting the best coordination of care possible. However, he has limits. Ive reached the limit of his capabilities so Im moving on. Sometimes he listens and other times it seems like he doesnt hear me.

I suffer from severe migraines among other issues. He listens, answers your questions and does what needs to be done. He is direct but gentle. I wanted him and had to get approval from Tricare. But as a Nurse I knew he was the Best!

My mother had an appointment yesterday for an EEG. She had to wait a month for this appointment while having seizures every day, sometimes twice a day. When she got there they informed her they could not do the test because the woman who does the test had a tantrum and left for the day. Completely unprofessional. Theyre in the medical field to help people not leave them in limbo. They then wanted to schedule her another month out which is completely unfair to her. The office is unorganized as well. We barely ever reach them by phone

Dr Khwaja was absolutely wonderful during my dreaded EMG. He was very professional and did everything possible to make the test less horrible. If I am ever referred off post again for neurological issues, I hope I am lucky enough to get him as my doctor.

Doctor Khwaja has been my doctor for 4 or 5 years now. When others couldnt figure out what was wrong or wanted to throw depression meds my way because they had no answers he took the time to look at the big picture, took all of my symptoms into account and ordered tests (some very simple & overlooked) to put everythineurologist. I feel that he listens to me. He is professional and businesslike in his manner. I recommend him to everyone I know that needs a neuroligist.

Dont bother wasting your time. This guy is a walking lawsuit. He litterally prescribed an overdose of medication for 6+ months. What a joke.

Dr. Khwaja is very good at what he does. His approach is to get permanent healing and recovery.I dont like his methods for managing his office-youll never start an appointment on time. And he is extremely arrogant but he gets good results.Just be prepared for a long wait and a less-than-friendly personality. But in Killeen, this guy is the one to see.

Be prepaired to wait and wait and wait some more past your appointment time. I had to wait an hour past my appointment time each and every visit. When I switched neurologists the office did not forward my records despite 2 requests, pretty sure that is illegal.He is listed as a migraine specialist. Yet when asked if migraines can cause brain damage he said NO, migraines never cause damage. Hmmm several medical journals disagree...So hes an expert who doesnt stay on top of current research...

Do I need to give it 1 star? Today is Wed May 9 2018. I called over a wk ago 2 schedule an appt for Fri May 11, or possibly the 18, when I called, I was told there was a long line of patients, the receptionist took my # & told me she would call me back, (never did). After about 10 days I called them again to schedule this app at which point the days I wanted where not avail. Now I wont be seen until 4 wks out, the receptionist was very rude during our conversation, as if I was disturbing her @ work. At the end of our conversation she SLAMMED the phone down. It was the same receptionist from 10 days ago, (Mayb its because @ the beginning I had told her how long I waited 2 be called back & never was). This is ur job, Answering phones, & making Appts is what ure supposed 2 do. (its 2 easy.) Ive been coming here for almost 3 yrs & the staff have never really been rude, although, they dont really keep a neat professional appearance, & seem very unprofessional. If ure trying 2 run a successful practice the people u hire play a big part in that, they need better people social skills, courtesy, & better work ethic. And no The DR. NEVER shakes ur hand.😕 Very unprofessional. After I get my results I will be moving on.

Had EMG done, told me I should get a x-ray. My provider told me for him to write it on the EMG report. Dr. Khwaja told me to make a appointment for that. ( basically he wanted to charge for a consultation fee ) why ? Patients are ATM,s to him.

Dr Khwaja is an excellent neurologist. Hes helped me so much and is so knowledgable. Has always been there when I needed him. Staff is excellent too !

He has been the only Neurologist that has wanted to help me. Ive been seeing Neurologist for over 30 yrs now.

Horrible bedside manner. Dr, Khawja did not introduce himself when coming into the room. Did not shake my hand. He pushed medications even though I am not a fan. He exited the room without saying a word. Horrible experience!!
