Ashlyn was absolutely wonderful! I was new to the salon, but she was very warm and welcoming. She was on time, and finished my hair pretty quickly. I got a silk press, and it still looks bomb the next day. Definitely returning for sure.

Where do I start?! Moving to Killeen I did not think I would find a salon to meet my hair needs. Oh how wrong was I! Whenever I walk inside I feel welcomed and cared for. The atmosphere is so positive and calming. Every stylist inside has an abundance of hair care knowledge and is eager to share. The salon specializes in natural hair care but combined they can do it ALL!!! Every time I leave the shop I feel like a new WOMAN! So thankful for all of the lovely ladies inside and all that they provide! You will not be disappointed by any service you receive there! Go ahead and give them a try I promise you won’t regret it!

Yesterday was my first time going to The Hair Lounge and from the moment I sat in her chair she began to give me knowledge about my natural hair. I never had an experience like this one before. My hair had damaged ends and it was still long after the trim 😂. I would DEFINITELY recommend her to anyone looking for a natural hair care specialist! Definitely going back! 10/10.

I have never really left a review before but was very moved to at this point, so here goes.... I like how my hair turned out the first time but I have had a lot of scheduling issues. The 2 times I have scheduled via the recommended site. The stylist has reached and stated she was unavailable but with steady communication I was able to reschedule. (Why is the availability open, if its not feasible 🤔, but mistakes happen... even multiple times). Unfortunately every time I came in on the new AGREED upon time after sendind a confirmation text myself days prior and ETAs on the schedule day (which included day, date and time). I have been met with confusion. I come in and Im not on the schedule, and the stylist is forced to look through her phone to find our communications and then provided an alternate time/date. Even then, after setting a new time, I was force to wait 2 extra hours (a total of 4 hours after our agreed upon appointment time). Contacted 45 min after I requested an update as I waited, I was told they couldnt fit me in... So yeah I find this establishment very unprofessional/unorganized.

I scheduled an appointment last week for a relaxer on their website. I specifically researched looking for a good hair salon because I have been doing my hair myself for years. My hair became over processed so I chopped it all off over the summer. I went natural for 4 months. Then I decided to go back to my relaxer because being natural was not for me. I told myself I want to get my hair professionally done from now on to maintain my healthy hair. There were so many good reviews. I get a call today, the day of my appointment, from Ashlyn saying they are out of relaxer. How are you the owner of a hair salon and run out of relaxer??? How many beauty supply stores are in Killeen? As a salon owner your store should be stocked. Not to mention I have received numerous reminder texts and emails about my appointment today. As the owner wouldnt you check your schedule and be prepared for your clients, especially a new one. Needless to say I will not be going to this salon. I was very upset because I am a teacher and I waited for a day and time that would fit with my busy schedule just to come here. Then Ashlyn calls me back to reschedule for sometime next week. Why are they still taking appointments if they are out of relaxer? I went on their website and you can still schedule a relaxer for an appointment as soon as tomorrow with Ashlyn. So just in case you want to schedule a relaxer...they are all out according to Ashlyn. Very disappointed

I got my hair done by Shikira (jumbo braids) and I am IN LOVE. The best pricing not to expensive for the best work. I will definitely be coming back.

Ive made numerous calls to get my hair fixed and no one has called me back the stylist Janey dosent know how to properly do a 360 lace front, she cut to much of the lace off , then my braids on the side was sticking out .My lace was coming apart 30 mins after leaving and the lace edges was showing I called up there to see if I can come back but she stated she could do it tomorrow instead, I couldnt come the next day because I had to go home to Houston for a min, when I came back I called to see if she was up there , they said she was at a wedding I called Sunday which Im aware they are closed but I called just so I can leave a message. No return call. I called 2 more times Tuesday and then again today and yet no one has return my calls. Its been a whole week of chasing and calling with no phone back .Therefore Im calling my bank and having the dispute my charge, $220 will be given back to me. And Ill take it to get my hair done else whereupdate the owner ASHLYN got in touch with me and fixed my hair for me, now I 95% love it, back tracking someone else work can be hard and she did the best she could thats why I 95% like it but if she would of done it I know I would of 100% liked it, therefore I will be getting my next sew in from her, she was nice. Friendly & understanable. So I definitely know who to come see next time Im in killeen ❤💋
