Wonderful service. I booked a neutral glam with Portia. I loved it so much. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming. I highly recommend to others. My eyebrows were bomb. I’m so glad I didn’t get them threaded before the appointment because Portia got me right !!

The environment in this building is amazing , all the beautiful workers make you feel so welcome and very outspoken :) . Jade did my neutral face beat and it came out amazing! She makes you feel very comfortable in the chair and is very sweet . I recommend coming here for sure !!!

So I purchased hair from this company on their website. They did not have what I requested in stock nor did they communicate that to me. I had to call to find out about my order. Then I asked for the order to be cancelled which the girl DID NOT DO. I’m assuming they are trying to stick me with a purchase so that they can make money on the side but I’ll just dispute the funds with my bank. Horrible service over the phone and I would not recommend anyone use this company.

Please dont go to this place. I have had a horrible experience. I booked my appointment for three weeks in advance and put in a $25 deposit for it. They told me I have to buy their wig for $400( which is not a human), and I did not like the wig, but I need it to be installed on the day of my event. On the day of my event, the salon called 30 minutes before my appointment to tell the lady who was supposed to do my hair cant do it, and I need to come to get the wig that I have bought with them three weeks ago and left it at the shop .customization. When I got to the shop, the lady, who was supposed to do my hair, was hiding behind the mirror doing someone else hair. Another came to the counter. Instead of giving me my hair, she said I have to pay $75 for the wig customization. My question is, how can you refuse to do my hair but want me to pay you for the customization when it was part of the appointment. I did not say anything; I was already overwhelmed with my event, finding someone who can do it before 3 pm. I have never experienced this inhuman behavior. Luckily, I call a beauty salon and someone was available to do it in 2hours. I’m usually not the type to complain, but this was a horrible experience and left me frustrated given that they knew my hair needed to be done that day for my event. It was very unprofessional to cancel last minute. If it weren’t for Kiaro Beauty, I wouldn’t have my hair done for my event that day.

Got to my appointment with breezie and she did not even know what I was there for but started me up anyway. Hairstyle came out so bad but was scared to say something. Good thing her mom and another beautician was there to speak up for me because she would have let me walk out looking crazy. They advised her to redo another style but at the end of the day had to go to another salon to get it fixed. She was nice though.

I purchased a wig. The total cost was $368 for 12 inches. This price included customization for $75. I paid a deposit fee of $25 that was to go towards my $150 wig sew in installment. At checkout, I was informed the $25 dollars was a deposit for scheduling the appointment. That doesn’t make any sense bc that’s not a deposit that would be a charge. The customer service overall was poor to include 40 minute late start. Many customers had issues while I was there. Y’all this was an overall hot mess. I’ll let my credit card company handle the rest!The stylist I had was friendly.

This place is a diamond in the rough!!!!I wish I knew about this salon sooner!The environment is beautiful. The tech are nice. The tech that did my nails is Kay. I came in with a set from a previous salon and I was certain that wed have to soak and start over but Kay took was very thorough! She slayed my nails, they damn near look like I grew them LOL.I love them and recommend everyone to go here. I know I will be coming back!

Brezzie M did wonderful job on my sisters bleach job and silk press. Only negative was very very expensive.However mine not so good. My loc retwist was great but the professional color job was horrible. Sent photo and did hair consult day before, letting her know that I previously covered my grey few weeks ago. So she can let me know if she could still color it or not. So I wanted custom green almost turquoise color on about 8 six inch dreadlocks, in the front. So she bleached my hair then put some army green looking dye. It looked very light from beginning but I thought would just change colors as it was processing. So when all was done, my hair was like a bleach look of lime greenish yellow color. Not what I asked for at all!!!!!! I even told her that I didnt like it. However I was still charged full price for the color and protein treatment on beached portion of my hair. Very very very expensive as well. So she made almost total of $600 for the both of us. 🙁🙁

Brezzie is an amazing stylist she is on time and has my hair laid I will definitely be back and the salon is an amazing place the owner is black and beautiful bubbly and it’s where you should go if your looking for quality hair and services and all the things a lady needs in one place!!!

BEWARE!Brezzie, a stylist there is unprofessional and completely incompetent when it comes to color. BEWARE, you’ve been WARNED!!!! I showed her a photo of the color I wanted and it came out comeplwy different. She charges me 25.00 extra because my hair was thicker (WFH) she did not tell me in advance abs added the charge to the total at the end. Your hair will come out a completely different color go to someone else. Plus they are extremely expensive for the lack of skills and service they provide, at least this Brezzie stylist. I don’t know about the others, but if they can hire this unskilled and incompetent stylist, proceed at your own risk.

Called last minute last night and was able to get an appointment at 730 this morning. She was on time and so polite. I could tell it wasnt about the money, she really cared about the health of my hair and cared how I felt about it. I will be coming back every two weeks. My daughter (10yrs) and I have been going to stylist Brittany McKnight (THE BEST) for quite some time now and we never leave disappointed; more like a pair of DIVAS once our styles are completed. Brittany is very neat and efficient with her styles and they come out looking spot on to what we ask for. She will make suggestions on small changes if necessary to ensure that they overall outcome of your style is what you ask for and looks great on you. The atmosphere in the salon is so welcoming professional and laid back at the same time. The ladies are always smiling and acknowledge you, as soon as, you step your foot through the door. I would recommend Salon Monai to anyone looking for a salon home, you wont be disappointed!!!

I got my nails done by Susie over a year ago an I still talk about how amazing my nails were! She took her time to listen to exactly what I wanted she even used powder to customize the color I wanted for my nails. Unfortunately with my profession I can’t wear long nails anymore

If I could give this place 0 stars I would I had my hair done by Tiffany on a Saturday I purchased bundles of hair for to 80 and then I paid $200 to get her to so it in my appointment was at 10 oclock on a Saturday and I came in there and I sat down for about 45 minutes before she inclined to tell me that my appointment wasnt until 1115 I even showed her on style seat where is said that I had an appointment at 10 oclock but she stated that I must have made a mistake she already had somebody in her seat that a friend or whatever that she was doing their hair so I left I came back at 11 and then she acted like she didnt wanna do my hair because I had attitude she washed my hair she braided it up and then told me that she needed to finish her other clients hair so I ended up having to wait about an hour Before she got back to my hair she so did in and while she was sown it in I was telling her that it was too tight but she didnt pay me no mind because she was on the phone talking to one of her friend constantly the entire time she was doing my hair she then on the when she got to the top of my head she sewed the tracks on backwards so now there are little leg sprigs of hair sticking up where you can tell that its a track and then on top of that she didnt leave enough leave out so theres not enough leave out to blend the tracks in perfectly the shop was closing around 4 oclock so she stated that I could come back sometime during the week as she would fix it if finish it up and style it and whatever I said OK when I texted her on Monday to see what day I could come back and do it she basically told me that all sales were finally what I pay you $480 for it for you not to do it correctly if youre looking for a quality customer service and someone thats going to do a good job and take care of your hair dont go to Tiffany at salon Monai its a waste of your money I dont expect my hair to be immaculate but for $480 it better be pretty dam close worst Experience I have ever had with getting my hair done

Breezie has terrible work ethic , she charged my card for $ 200 and didn’t even do my hair , she was very rude to me even after I let her know that I canceled my appointment ahead of time . I definitely do not recommend her or her services .

THREE times Susie didnt honor the appointment that was set on style seat. Each time it was a story. Worst of all she didnt reschedule OR refund my booking fee. Ms. Tiffiny is an absolute dream! My daughter RJ got her hair washed & braided for her 9th birthday. To be honest RJ isnt the greatest at getting her hair done. Ms. Tiffiny remained calm, kind, and understanding throughout the service.When the time came to pay for my daughters hair I went to use CashApp but the app was lagging so I paid cash instead. I didnt realize the CashApp transaction had went through until after she refunded the money. If she had ran with being paid twice I probably wouldnt have noticed. The fact that she refunded the money without any word from me speaks volumes about her character. Talented hands & a sense of integrity! You cant go wrong with her as your stylist!

This salon is the best In Killeen! I have been going here for years, and every stylist is capable and well worth it! I love this salon and have seen it grow! So I recommend this salon to everyone! There are master weave slayers, master of natural hair and coloring (Ivy), and master of braiding and every other technique with hair! They are amazing!! I have never had a bad experience!

UpdateSo I did go there again for a second a whole year later because I was deployed. I ended up having to shave my hair because the girl boiled my hair cause she didnt blow dry it well, about 3-4 inches(from the roots) of my hair would not revert to curly/kinky. 1st 2x pictures is what my hair was like the one in the bottom is what was left with after I washed my hair from the silk press and the middle one is after I shaved it because of the damages.Great staff, hair was done well. Ill be there from now on.

Really enjoyed my first experience at Salon Monai!! My appointment was with Sharon. Her professionalism and honest input made me feel like I was in great hands! I love how knowledgeable she is about her product and that she walked me through everything she was doing to my hair. The staff was so fun and energetic. Ive definitely found my new hairstylist which is great considering Im new to the area.

I had an appointment with Ivy and she did an amazing job with my color. She was able to fit me in as a walk-in right before Memorial Weekend and she gave me a great style and great information too. She knows a lot about hair and she is concerned about your hair being healthy AND looking good. Go book with her!

I absolutely love Salon Monai. My hairstylist is Sharon and she has done a tremendous job of catering to my hair needs. Tiffiny is an excellent hairstylist and is amazing at kids styling. My child loves her and she is creative with kids braids. Susie is the best nail technician I ever been to. Susies nail designs are innovative and the products she uses lasts for weeks. A fill can last almost a month without any chipping or breaking. Overall the salon as a whole is filled with talented hairstylists and nail technicians. Each of them take pride in their crafts and offer a variety of services. I have been a client at this salon for 3 years and will not go anywhere else. Great people and awesome one stop salon.

Highly recommend this salon! They are one of the only salons that offer microlink extensions. Microlink extensions are great for fine or relaxed hair. No braiding involved which allows the hair to lay almost completely flat. It’s easy to wash and style. Tiffany and the staff were absolutely amazing! They are friendly, professional, and provide great service. I didn’t have an appointment and was able to walk-in with a fairly short wait. Tiffany provided a same-day consultation and was even patient enough to wait for me so I can purchase extensions at the nearest beauty supply shop. This was my first experience with Monai Salon and I am definitely returning. Again, I HIGHLY recommend their services!!!!

Great atmosphere..the nail salon and hair salon always clean. never over Crowded. Im always seen at my apartment time. My nail technician Mesha and my hair stylist Ivy are great . If you are looking for a great nail technician go see Misha. if you have natural hair and you need someone to help you maintain your natural look go see Ivy.

This past weekend I visited this salon and Vintaj did my hair. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair styled and she told me that she was not going to do that particular style for me but insisted that she would make it look better than the picture and that the style would last for at least a month. Walking out I was disheartened with the outcome and very shocked that she would tell me that. 3 days later my crochets started coming out. Every time I touch my hair more continue to come out. I reached out to the stylist for a resolution. She would not offer a refund. Instead she told me she could fix my hair and justify why it turned out bad only at her convenience. I would not recommend this salon to anyone . I had one of the worst experiences there. Not to mention she was late for my appointment.

I was referred to Salon Monai by a store clerk at a beauty supply since I’m new to the area. I’m not a “regular” salon goer, but I wanted to change things up after so many years. I got a sew-in done by Ivy. She was very kind and very good at what she does. The salon itself was very laid-back and all the beauty stylists were fun and outgoing. Because I don’t often get my hair done, Ivy was great about answering all my questions and letting me know where/what to get and do. I do think it took and excessive amount of time that probably wasn’t necessary, maybe because everyone was so laidback and just enjoying time, but overall it was a great experience and I’m very happy with how my hair looks.

I can not even put into words how pleased I was with this salon! Ivy is an angel sent from god. Not only did she do my amazing extensions she matched the color of the extensions to my hair color perfectly to were it looks like my natural hair and blends amazingly. The thing we loved about it was that you make appointments online and a specific time frame is set just for your d blocked out so the stylist cant over book. Unfortunately the stylist can iverbook as Tiffani did by making appointments off the book. My daughter goes in for a 10:30 wash and almost an hour later was still sitting. Long story short I say something and she tells me since daughter acts like she cant wait shell get one of her coworkers to do it as if shes doing us a favor!! I only allowed this because there were no chemicals involved (we dont know this other stylist or how good she or isnt). We will never be back!!!

Ivy has been doing my daughter’s hair for a year now! My daughter has super thick hair that most stylists don’t know how to manage. She’s very patient and caring! My daughter always leaves the salon looking like a brand new kid lol

Went to the salon for the first time. Called and booked the day before. Get there and the stylist Michelle Jerry was late. She walks in and doesn’t apologize for being late. She is rude when I tell her what I want. When I tried to explain she starts talking and yelling over me then walks away. Next thing I know the following week she sends me an email threatening me and calling me names over a review. I don’t know how someone can be this unprofessional. Sad and pathetic The salon itself is very nice and clean.

I love salon Monai. Ive been to three hair salons in town and Ive never been satisfied. EVERYTIME I go to Sharon my hair is taken good care of. The staff members are friendly which is a plus as well.

My initial review of this salon was five stars. Most I believe was my fault In not reading all the reviews on the place. The salon itself is very nice. Michelle Jerry hooked me up at as a last minute walk in and I’m grateful for that, so I made an appointment with her again two weeks later on the Style Seat website.. This appointment was only for a wash and flat iron that had a time limit of 45 minutes. She asked what I wanted I told her I wanted express dry. But she she still put me under the dryer because she had other customers. I just let it be. The only thing I couldn’t let go was after the appointment, the style seat sends me an email telling me to review the stylist, I did and the very next day, I get a Facebook message..... telling me that I was being “salty” and inconsiderate of her other clients for basically giving her 4 out of 5 stars..I told her I was just giving my honest review. I told her that the times on her website for the hairstyles was very misleading, I was there for over 2 hours for a 45 minute hair do. I’ve never been approached with such unprofessionalism by a stylist that overbooked her clients in the first place. I should have read the reviews on here first, because apparently she did the same exact thing to someone else.

Salon Monai is everything you’re looking for in a salon and more. The stylist are awesome, the atmosphere is great, nice and clean, and they offer complimentary drinks while you wait. Unsatisfactory service.....Im concerned that this salon isn’t concerned with client satisfaction and fairness. If you want someone sneaky who is more concerned about changing style seat to justify overcharging you....and not being prepared to correctly finish services that come with a style ....book Brezzie. I was highly disappointed that this type of behavior is supported and that effectively fixing issues isn’t a priority.1. I booked for a silk press which I asked about the plastic wrap part of it which I was told that I would have to wait for another stylist to come and use hers. She never said she wouldn’t do it or it didn’t come with it.2. I was 6 min. late which the time my appt ended was suppose to be 7:00- 8:30 (8:36 with me being late) but I was still in the chair until 9:15.3. She took :15 minutes to ’jailbreak’ a fire stick while I sat in the chair waiting for her to finish blow drying my hair.4. My trim (an included service which she tried to charge as a cut( not included)) wasn’t a completed service as I still have split ends and it wasn’t completed all over my head. Only at the bottom straight across. She later that day changed her style seat to add in how much being cut justifies it as a cut. She never let me know while trimming that there would be a charge for a haircut until the very end of the appointment.5. I showed her the curls that I wanted which she agreed to doing. After trimming my hair, she told me that she didn’t have the barrel to curl it which I would have to wait for another stylist to come in. The hair could’ve been curled with the small flat irons and the barrel that was there, but she didn’t even attempt it.6. As far as the trim, I asked her to take all the damaged parts off. It didn’t matter how much she had to ‘trim’ but I wanted the breakage and split ends gone. I didn’t want a cut style. If I’m being charged extra for an extra service of a cut that wasn’t requested or agreed to, that your style seat says can last up to :60. The proper time to fulfill all services should’ve been taken. That didn’t happen. She only said it was looking like a bob from you trimming it which that was my previous style anyway. I never told her or showed her a picture of a bob style I wanted. It also should’ve been cut all over, not just from the bottom breakage (trim/cut).7. My roots are stilly puffy in one section that was not completely flat ironed which the plastic wrap would’ve helped.8. Before I left, I let you know that I wasn’t satisfied and was coming back for it to be corrected. You said okay. Then she said no refunds and the style was complete. She later came back to say she would fix the services I didn’t get bc she wasn’t prepared to complete them, but I couldn’t get money back from an overcharge for a cut when the service included the trim.I really hate that this was such a poor experience and that it has been an issue to resolve it when I was highly inconvenienced in the entire process, even from the change of the initial booking time of yesterday at 1:00 P.M. which I tried to work with.

This was my 1st time at Salon Monai. The establishment is nice, you can get your hair or nails done in one stop. They provide beverages while youre getting dolled up.Ashley Stepp was my stylist & she delivered what I asked for. Will I return for another appt, yes! Will I recommend my stylist, yes shes the bomb! Will I recommend the salon, of course. I had zero complaints.

WOW!! These reviews are something else. Well, as for me the stylist TIFFANY ROBINSON, is extremely RUDE and UNEDUCATED!!! Just like the other stylist she too made threats against me. I was really excited to come get my nails done here. After booking an appointment 2 weeks out I show up and its canceled. I just recieved a text reminding me about the appointment. When I double checked today it was canceled. But I recieved no notification.Very upsetting..

The two stylists Aria & Tiffiny are fabulous. Everytime I have requested a service, I leave more than satisfied. The prices are great and even when I am late customer service is still pleasant. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Do NOT go to Tiffany to get your hair done. Shes never on time. I had an appointment with her yesterday but she canceled so she rescheduled for today same time. I get to the shop as scheduled and Im greeted by the other stylists and they tell me to go to the back. This lady is still doing somebody hair and then AFTER WAITING 30 MINUTES without her even acknowledging me or giving me an estimate on how much longer shes going to take I get up and leave. Im NEVER going there again. If any of you know a stylist who is great with retwisting dreads please give me their info.P.s.It wasnt peak time it was 4pm and the shop was nearly empty. I wanted to be able to pamper myself but I will retwist my own dreads.

I have had plenty of bad experiences when dealing with customer service. But todays experience is by far the absolute worst and i can not just let this go. If you are in the killeen area, DO NOT use SALON MONAI for your hair care needs...My gut told me not to go here, but once again i ignored it. From not understanding how to use the website to book an appointment, not getting the stylist i was referred too, the stylist not responding to my text i sent with the picture of the style i wanted (she did the next day when i text it to her again), and then texting me today to say she would need to meet 30 minutes later than we scheduled and was still late... i should have known.Vonni came in sick... i understood. She had to keep taking breaks... i understood and was patient. Vonni couldnt finish so the stylist i was referred too was going to finish. Cool Ill be patient. But guess what? I left with my hair half done and no options for how they could finish it? Where they do that at?I dont go to salons, i do my own hair. I dont know alot, but thats why Im suppose to trust my stylist. She starts off cutting my hair off with a razor, no wash or anything yet. I didnt know this was a no no until i talked with some people later. I get it washed, she wraps it, and i sit under the dryer. When Im done she starts cutting more and curling the back. Halfway through curling she says she cant go as low as i want because i needed a relaxer. I couldnt have been told this before you washed it? I didnt think i needed one because my edges were still laying down. And even still, the back would have been tapered... but ok lady... Now Im upset because i chopped ALL my hair off and its not going to look as neat as i want it. So now comes time to sew the front tracks in. She gets the braider from out back who comes in smelling like straight weed, kush, whatever you call it (i have nothing against smoking, but during work hours? Really? ) She braids and then vonni sews in 2 tracks and takes a break. I go to the restroom and come back to the shampoo lady saying she cant finish because shes too sick, but sharon (the owner and the one i was referred too)will finish. Cool, and somehow Im still somewhat calm...I got next door and sharon is working on 2 clients. Come 530 (note: my appointment was at 1 but moved to 130 so Ive been there now 4 hours)i call my son and he says the afterschool club closes at six. I ask sharon could i leave to get my kids and come back. She says she had to leave my 630 and i would need to be back in 15 minutes (impossible from trimmier to clear creek and back with 5 oclock traffic. I told her i couldnt do that could i come in the morning. She was booked and couldnt do it. So i sat there like is this really happening? I did everything right and was so patient and youre giving me no options on how i can get my hair done? Im fighting back tears at this point. The next thing out her mouth is, so i could comb it over for you so you can get your kids... DONE at this moment. I could have been really rude, cursed, knocked over some things... but no, i just walked out.This is how this should have went... 1) vonni shoulda not came to work. People get sick and thats an unforeseen circumstance. I would have been A ok with that instead of leaving looking the way i did. 2) Sharon should have found a way to get my hair done, whether it be late at night or early tomorrow morning before her other clients. And let me add 3) have stylist that know what they are doing! Let a girl know she needs her hair relaxed before starting to chop her hair off DRY. The lack of professionalism and proper customer service at this is sickening and people should know.The owners response to my post was me not being concerned for the stylist health. I not once showed no concern for her health, i even turned as she was leaving to say i hope you feel better. Her health was not the problem . My concern is strictly the lack of professionalism and knowledge.
