I got my hair done today, and it turned out really nice! I will be returning.

I put plaits in my daughters hair after they took Cancer from her body. Thank you God.I took her to Jerdel for a dreadloc style. But was to get faux locs.Ok. I was quoted $230.00 by Jerdel the owner...no price list and whispering so low.My daughter left to shampoo the plaits...and Jerdel said that she would take out all of the worn plaits...that I gave my daughter.And give her a nice African Faux Locs style.5hrs later. I paid the Helper $230.00 I gave her $240.00 and she stated that they had no change and asked to keep my $10. 00 change! (wow).My daughter..Karma Stones hair was in a very stiff high ponytail..after it was dipped in hot water. Still very hard and stiff.My daughter wanted it down..it hurt too bad to be up.Youre not gonna believe this! we took down the faux locs..the middle on top...still had the worn plaits ...they didnt even take them all out..just wrapped new hair around the plaits I had put in prior. Wow!When I asked Jerdel about it she got a attitude said that her HELPER DID IT! she said come later she will fix it...lol...wow..but got my money already..and the Helper left. I insisted she fix it then...oh yea her shop is also daycare..for her hollering child..he is all over her while she is working..she had to stop a lot..to breast feed and whatever else!The faux locs that the Helper did were so tight..it raised my daughters meat into the braids as well. ..my daughter vowed never to return to Jerdel Braid Shop...but the next day right on top ..the faux loc un raveled..and when we went to the shop to get it fixed and a few loosened up..she straight gave attitude stating I have to take care of my baby..we stated that we were in no rush....SMH...I HAVE PICS TOO! .ALL. I CAN SAY IS YOU MIGHT WANT TO TRY ANOTHER SHOP..THIS ONE NEEDS MORE SKILLS AND BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE..THEY OVER CHARGE AND THE WORK IS AWFUL. AND ON THIS DAY...THE HELPER REEKED WITH FUNK...sorry but so true...Jerdel says she speaks to her about it...wyd...smh. Never again will I Give Jerdel my money. Im sooooo disappointed in my selection of a African Braid Shop. It was my daughters first time letting someone in her head and she says itll be her last!!

I was given an appointment time of 8AM and the ladies promptly started at the stated time. The ladies worked efficiently and finished in record time. I appreciate this work ethic as I’ve spent more time & money in other shops with less than desirable results. I will definitely be a repeat customer and recommend to others. If you don’t like spending all day in a shop, this is the place to go. Great Job & Professional Setting!

Never had a bad experience with Jerdel. Very friendly shop. Always there and on time when I need her service. I always go to her with an unsure style I’d fine online and after she finish... it’s perfect every time. This lady is AWESOME with her work. Has quality hair, great prices and most important......YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE YOUR EDGES

I brought my 10 year old daughter to her several times and this WILL BE THE LAST time. I paid $100 for a style that she said she could do. I showed up to the shop and she had another lady do the style. The braids were larger than the photo I sent her and the lady doing her hair was sewing the front braids together that were loose in the front. Which looked unusual. Not even 5 days later my daughters braids were loose. One was even dangling from the root at the back of her head. I called her to see if she could try to resolve the situation and she acted like she didnt know who I was and started yelling. Bad business.

Very nice place to get your hair done. When you have a concern they will make sure you are satisfied very friendly and care for their customers. First time getting my hair done with them. I would recommend everyone to go there. Also very fast service and dont have to wait a long time.. In and out!! ☺

I wish I could post a picture but since I cant....Let me just tell you that I love my hair!Jerdel and her co worker did a great job. She took me as a last minute appointment with no problem.She is very pleasant and gets the job done in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommended her and her team!

Jerdel is AWESOME! I did not particularly care for a color/style that was added as the finishing touch. I gave the color/style a couple of days to see if it would grow on me, it did not. I called Jerdel after the second day discussed my delima with her and instead of waiting a week or two for an opening she asked me if I was available to come to shop as we were talking. Jerdel fixed the problem after she had already gone home for the day. I APPRECIATE that kind of customer service. 😄

My daughter and I called to get an appointment on a Sunday (last minute)and we were able to get in. Everyone there was very professional and they did a great job on our hair. I was very hesitant at first because Ive only been to one other braiding salon in the area in which I did not have a good experience but from the start of our conversation over the phone to us entering the building everyone was very warm and welcoming. They have good customer service and also great braiding skills. We will definitely go back.

Amazing job! Jerdel and her staff are so professional, kind and friendly! I had medium size Senegalese twist installed and they turned out beautifully. This is true African hair braiding at its finest, the most beautiful braiding technique and most professional service you will get in the area.

I was very satisfied with my hair. I requested medium micros and thats just what I got. I was in and out and didnt spend all day there. They was very nice and the place of business was very clean. I will be making this my regular braiding salon. Very satisfied customer!!!

My first time using this location. I am pleased with my end result (micro braids). One lady was a bit heavy handed but the quality of her work over rides the heavy hands. Jedel assistant did my hair the 1st time she did a great job. I went back to get my hair done again, she totally messed my hair up. I asked for a redo she did it again and it was worse then the last time, the lady obviously did care anymore. Watch out because they will trt to overcharge you. Prices vary by the person. I give them 2 stars just for being open.

I just got my hair done today and to my Surprise when I got home and looked a little thw middle and side of my crochet hair style was no complete. You could see the parts and gaps. Then when given the opportunity to fix it, she tells me to pay more and buy more hair. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Jerdel let me leave her hair salon thinking I had a completed hairdo and only portions was done.

HORRIBLE! BAD BAD BAD! Crochet braids look a hot mess! She only did the side and nape area the middle was left bare with braids showing! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO JARDEL! She charges to fix the mess they created. Bad customer service very disappointed!
