I arrived into Killeen on Orders and was desperate to chop of all my hair.. I just so happened to come upon Ms. Deb and her cute little shop and I’ve been a loyal customer ever since and have never been disappointed. Ms. Deb has been with me through all of my crazy hair colors as well as helping me get my dreads started. Her salon has begun to feel like home the more I continue to go back. Very friendly and a holy environment. And very fair pricing as well.

I went from kinky to straight this time with a perm. She great with natural hair she give the best silk wrap my daughters hair is natural whenever she gets a silk wrap it last for weeks. Hair shampoo and conditioner treatment are phenomenal. She part of a dying breed when it come to styling hair she about the health of your hair. Good ole fashion hair care ❤ it.

I am natural and always wear my hair in twist or twist outside. I went in for a simple trim for my ends. My hair was washed and not dried and left with a fro! Ive mentioned that I rarely go to beauticians cause Ive had some make mistakes and wont own up to it. 2 weeks later I decided to straighten my own hair and noticed that my hair has been chopped unevenly. Its so bad it looks like my 3 year old had her way with the scissors!

This place is a true black hair salon with old methods mixed in with the new. The women there are respectful and youll leave the shop satisfied. I went there for the first time in middle school and Ive loved it ever since

Got some crochets done not too long ago my stylist was very professional and she made my experience comfortable. Plus I loved how she did my hair !!! It came out 10xs better than what I had in mind. Love this shop.

I love this salon but in most cases the long wait time is worth it. These days I miss the old stylist vs the new stylist. Today I waited three hours for a 2:00 and I still didn’t get my hair because she was done for the day.

I must say it has been a long 3 years in Texas without having a salon of choice. Finally, today I was amazed and satisfied. Mrs. Debra is simply awesome, anointing, professional and knowledgeable in her craft. Amanda is a plus also. Loved it

Normally I don’t have any problems coming here , but today I had the worst experience with Ms. Debra .... she always did my hair before and it was good service so idk why today is different . But today was just awful. So I came normally as a walk in at 830, not busy at all . I asked for a trim which is 10$ . Ms Debra proceeds to take the lady out her chair , and told me to sit down . Waited about 5mins for her to finish her conversation then came over... When I tell you she did HORRIBLE on my trim ... She did HORRIBLE ! She only trimmed the little piece in the back of my head and a little on the the side . Half my head was uneven from the rest and she use a fine tooth comb to comb my hair (I have (HAD)pretty thick long hair) & I’m not tender headed but that hurt. I was then upset I had to go somewhere else to get my hair cut even shorter because how uneven it was.I’m not the type of person to complain , but I just had too today .

Latoya is the best stylist there. I tried to let someone else touch my hair and didnt get the results I wanted. Nobody does hair like her I always refer people to her because shes that great.

I gave a fair/poor rating because the head stylist did my hair nicely truth be told. Its a good salon if you dont mind being treated as a walk in even though you scheduled an appt. I literally waited 70+ mins after my appt time and still wasnt seen!!! After 73 mins I walked out and still got my hair done as a walk in somewhere else and didnt even wait 10 mins for that. That was the second time she did that to me though, doing 4 peoples hair at once and I was left just waiting...Though the first time she did it I had already had my hair washed and was sitting under the dryer for well over 40mins. Getting your hair done shouldnt feel like a chore of waiting for the stylist to get done with other peoples hair so she can do yours even though you have an appt. Its either greed or unprofessionalism is how I honestly felt but it is a pattern and I dont believe in paying people who abuse time mangement at the customers expense of time.

I’ve been coming to this salon off and on since I was 18 years old. I’m not going to say who but this establishment needs a break. You can’t charge someone for a service and not do the service accordingly. If you tired, just say that. If you can’t fix my hair the way I ask, just say that. I always tip and am a good one at that!So today I called and ask how much it would cost to sew in three bundles of hair? Not to braid my hair but to sew in three bundles of hair! I can hear the beautician covering the phone and whispering in the background. If you don’t wanna do my hair then just say that! What I’m not going to do is pay $105 for some work that I know is unsatisfactory and that is done as if someone that wasn’t licensed would do my hair! The first time you did my hair I asked you about a net, the second time you did my hair I asked you about a net, you told me that a net was for a woman with short hair which is not true. Stop charging people for services that you aren’t doing correctly! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone because they have good days and bad days and as a beautician a good beautician is always efficient and does her job well. My mom always said a job well done is a job done well and this establishment is none of the two!
