Key West haircuts did a great job. It was great to be able to walk in and get taken care of so quickly. Do to covid-19 the staff is very efficient and effective at keeping things clean and keeping everyone distanced. We will be coming back for future cuts

Just got the worse haircut of my life. I wanted a #2 on the sides and faux hawk ( so longer in the middle. The Asian guy who spoke no English had to be told by his wife what I said. Which is no big deal if he cannot speak English (thats not the point). He pretty much cut my whole head the same length. I couldve done better with clippers. How he thought cutting less than a 1/4 on the side and cutting 3 on the top was what I wanted kills me. Never going there again.

Michele was great. 30 dollars for a cut with no shampoo and no blowdry.

I wish I could leave 0-stars. The level of professionalism is appalling. Do NOT take your business here, especially if you have children. If you have any sort of texture to your hair, don’t waste your time. Candon will shame you about your hair texture, charge you extra for detangling, and will utter some derogatory marks about you or your child. Terrible experience. Absolutely terrible.

This is the best place to get a haircut on the island. Everyone inside was super nice and helpful. The older lady who cut my hair did an amazing job. I don’t remember her name but we talked about Key West and her house she used to live in before Irma! I will be a return customer for sure!

I would rate a 0 if I could!! This was the worst hair salon service Ive ever had in my life. They hairstylist Candon was extremely rough with my 8 year old daughter while detangling her very curly hair with a comb! He was pulling out globs of hair as he scolded her about the texture of her hair being so curly over and over again. After 30 minutes I noticed my daughter crying and I asked him if he could please just rinse her conditioner out so that we would leave, that he had scolded her long enough! He started insulting us loudly, calling her names in front of other costumers and other stylists.He did not rinse out her hair or even cut it ( thank God) but screamed out pay the lady $35! I guess he was gonna charge me extra because he was mad? He was very mean, rude and unprofessional. We will be reporting him.

I was in town for a wedding and I needed my hair styled. I called and was able to get a same day appointment.Camden was very lively and personable. He was able to immediately take my description and turn it into a reality.Jose cut my husbands hair. He was professional and did an excellent job. My husband was very happy.If we visit again, we would definitely come back.

While vacationing here in Key West, I was fortunate enough to have Gene accommodate and fit me in to do a cut and color and I would have to say best color and cut ever had. His 32 years experience is truly evident. Candon also pointed out and advised me to avoid using coconut oil in my hair as it will strip the color and had no idea if he hadn’t told me. Overall, the experience was five star and I would highly recommend to anyone in need of getting hair cut or colored to see Gene and he also has a barbers license and gotta say, best cut I’ve ever had. I’m so happy and have had so many compliments. Thanks Gene as you are so talented and made my day.

Just had my hair done by Gene. I showed him a picture from a few years ago and he was able replicate it to perfection. Would definitely recommend. I was a walk in and taken care of in a timely manner.

Horrible experience. Barber Candon was extra twitchy and fidgety as if he was on drugs and everyone around was just tolerating it as if it were normal.

Daniel is the most meticulous barber I have ever had. Dont expect a lot of chit chat. He is focused on his work. Best hair cut every time.

Called to get a quote for my son. I asked how much it would be and was told 20$ for a boy. He asked how old the child was I said 2. He said “Oh I’m not going to do that!” And the yelled while still on the phone “who wants a two year old?” “I’m not doing it because they can’t tell me what they want”. I’m furious, very unprofessional.

For an inexpensive haircut in Key West this is the place to go. Their stylists are very talented and the wait isnt usually too long. Havent had a bad haircut there yet.

This was by fair my WORST experience getting a hair cut. I asked for just the dead ends trimmed and they took off more than what was asked. About an 1inch was discuss prior to cutting at the end about 3-4 inches were cut. My hair is extremely uneven. It was not cut correctly to my part so when I part my hair the uneven hairs show more. I would never recommend this place or go back. Highly upsetting to have so much of my hair cut off when it was not what was wanted.

I usually have a good experience here but my husband came home with a bald spot on the back of his head. Most upsetting is they didn’t even tell him. If you make a mistake you should definitely tell your client.

The woman was so rough with my hair, made scratches on my head skin with her nails and then with hairbrush. And the haircut she made was awful. Im looking like 40 years old now (Im actually 20). Before she started I showed desired length of my hair and she made sure about it. But then she cut A LOT more actually! The board outside the salon says womens haircuts are starting at 25$, but she charged me 40$. Dont waste your money there!

My son had his haircut done here and it looked terrible, extremely uneven and i had to take him somewhere else to have it fixed.

I was a bit weary to get my hair cut. I have long hair and had not cut it in 15 years. I walked in without an appointment and was taken care of by Josh. Josh got rid of my split ends and trimmed my hair in a manner that was detailed and professional. He was also fun to talk with.Bottom line: My requests were listened to and respected. I got a great trim and even bought some products. I highly recommend this shop and especially Josh!

I love this place! Gene is my go to person! I have super curly hair so I have a hard time finding someone who knows how to deal with a heal full of unruly locks. Gene knows how to handle my curls quite well! He’s also an expert with color. My son gets his haircuts with him too. If you get s chance to come here, ask for Gene!!! You won’t be sorry!!

The lady who cut my hair was great. She even offered me free bang cuts whenever I wanted. Unfortunately we moved from the Keys. Also the lowest prices that I have seen. Many places wanted $45+ for a 5 inch cut with no wash. Glad I found this place.

If I could rate this place a zero. My fiance originally placed an appointment with Neil and when he got there someone that wasnt Neil and didnt speak enough English to understand that my fiance had an appointment already. Neil wasnt at the shop and we had to wait 15 mins until he finally showed up. The cut was unprofessional and my fiance decided he wanted to go elsewhere. We got to front desk to explain that we didnt want to pay for terrible service we had experienced and instead of providing excellent customer service and letting us leave without payment or at least try to offer a discount... each employee looked at us with confusion. I recommend no one to go there.

The Euro American (Neil, I believe) guy is fantastic. The Asian American lady, not so much. I can only speak for mens haircuts BTW, Im sure the lady probably rocks womens hair. I dont know. Omar is smack dab in between the two. Not as good as Neil with mens cuts, but not as poor as the lady.

Super quick and fantastic haircut

I normally dont write reviews but since its really hard to find a good barber in Key West, which is something I learned the hard way, I would like to help others avoid the butchering that most barbers do down here. A women name Lee at this place has been cutting my hair for some time now and I have to say she is AMAZING! I normally have a hard time find someone to cut my hair because I need someone who knows their way around clippers and scissors. This seems like it should be a given but I have learned that there are very few who know how to use both effectively. If you find yourself in Key West in need of a haircut you will not regret trusting Lee.

I walked in and the place was busy but I got sat down right away and got my haircut. The customer service was excellent, the barber was friendly and did a great job.

DONT G0 HERE. I AM A MILITARY VET I CAME TO GET A HAIR CUT AND WAS PASSED AROUND LIKE GARBAGE. WHAT THEY DONT KNOW IS I BEEN THERE TWICE BEFORE AND TIPPED OVER 20 BUCKS WISH THE PERSON WHO USED TO CUT MY HAIR STILL WOKRED THERE. ALSO EVERYONE I REFERRED THERE HAS HAD THERE HAIR MESSED UP.
