Great Atmosphere and they make sure to keep in contact when you need your check ups and annually cleanings. Ive been going here for over a year they are my go to dentist and they accept my work insurance and they work with your income base... The Dentist is the only human I fear. I come to find out my fear was hurting me more than the procedure. I brought my blood pressure up. Getting teeth pulled hurts after but, thats to be expected. They really work as a team and walk you through the whole process. I would recommend this office for sure. Thank you!

First time coming here and two doctors along with the dental assistant were so helpful and explained everything that needs to be done for my smile. Everyone is knowledgeable, and even though they are extremely busy they did great in assisting me. They got me in and started on my treatment same day.

I went Friday April 24th @ 11am. I was getting a root canal, and I still have to go back to get my permanent crown. The doctor was okay, it was the first time i ever went to that location. I went and the front desk was un-organized first off and the lady was weirdly rude saying that since I had new insurance and I had an appointment scheduled the same day I called they didn’t know if they could take me, whatever okay waited. I got in they checked my teeth and they told me what needed to be done, the lady comes in charges me 250 for the procedure and she specifically told me I would pay 2 170 payments for my crown. Okay cool paid the 250, during my procedure they did okay but I felt like everything was rushed like they were busy which I get but you are literally operating on peoples teeth and doing extractions so I felt like it was unprofessional and when I was done at the end of my appointment I was told that I had to pay 170 for the crown at that time which was irritating because I had already paid 250 upfront like I was told.. when I left the appointment my temporary crown fell off as soon as I got into the car and when I went back inside the people made me feel like I was a burden. Not happy, my tooth hurts now anytime I bite down on anything I’ve tried calling them 5 times since 7 AM since they’ve opened left messages and still haven’t heard back. After my permanent crown I’m not sure if I’ll go back. I might try and find a different provider through Aetna.

Just got off the phone with them, the young lady was nice enough. However, I called to make sure they were in network with my provider. To this the lady stated, you can check on your own by calling them and giving them our information because I have some work to catch up on. Cleary they are NOT in the business of helping people, or in any urgency to get new patients.

As it is difficult to get out In the weather conditions -1 degrees and to top it off arrive at your dentist appointment and having your teeth clean by someone who was very unprofessional. I was totally uncomfortable, and I told him several times to lower down the water pressure as he was slashing water all over my face having water running down my neck for the third time I and kept asking to lower down the pressure. But when my front shirt was completely wet I got up the chair and I refused the service. Literally upsetting never have I seen the guy there nor receive services like that. The worst part is when your professional hygienist tells you he can’t do nothing about it.

I would not go here, ever again! I got a crown done, it was so big and long, it was disgusting. I had to get it redone somewhere else. Also, they change your appointments without even telling you. I specifically went there because of the hours. They call you, not leave a message and change the schedule appointment time. If you work full time and schedule the time off work for your appointment and then it gets changed without a notice makes no sense. BTW the schedule time was changed to an earlier appt. So here I am I getting of work, on my way to the my scheduled appt, realize I have some missed calls from them, no voice message, call them back to find out my appt was changed, to an earlier appt and now they can’t see me. NEVER GOING BACK!!!

Of all the dentist offices I visited I felt the most comfortable and welcome at Central Ave. I got my tooth extracted a month ago by Dr. Joshi, he talked me through the procedure and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Today I got a SAP Deep Cleaning from Ines. She was so sweet and personable and made the entire procedure go quickly and smoothly. She was attentive and noticed that I was still feeling a bit of pain and made sure that I got more Anesthesia until I was completely comfortable. She made todays experience that much better and my teeth feel amazing ! Thank you Ines!

So 6 months ago when I had a wisdom tooth extracted, I had a great experience here! Today I went in to get another wisdom tooth pulled. Unfortunately I left without it being pulled. First there was a misunderstanding with scheduling, I was originally scheduled to come in at 8am, but when I received the confirmation call, the appointment time was for 9am. I made it work and my boyfriend said he would be later getting to work so he could watch our baby. I was there until almost 10 and still had not been numbed or seen by Dr Joshi. So I explained to the girl assisting me that I was going to need to reschedule since it was taking a while and that my boyfriend needed to get to work. She talked to Dr Joshi and instantly he came in and it was obvious that he was irritated with me. He told me that he was going to send me to an oral surgeon and refunding my money. I tried to explain my situation to him and he put his hand in my face and refused to hear what I had to say. I like everyone in that office EXCEPT him. Im not sure if he was having a bad day or what, but I refuse to be seen by him again. Thankfully the girl at the front desk rescheduled me with another dentist and I will come back. Im just irritated that I have to wait another 3 weeks to get this tooth out. I refuse to give this place 1 star because of one person, everyone else there makes it a 5 star place... so 1 star for Dr Joshi.

Was referred here by a friend and couldnt be more pleased. Blanca did an amazing, thorough job on my cleaning - I hadnt been that satisfied with a cleaning in years. Cindy checked me out and was so sweet, re-verified all my information for accuracy, and promptly scheduled my follow up as well as appointments for the next year to best suit my scheduling needs. I plan to be a long time client here.

Dr joshi is the best, my tooth was hurting so bad, I txtd him and he booked me in Rt a way though I had to wait a long time to be seen. But ended up to the best of my interest. So FIVE STARS🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for Dr Ramit Joshi BUT the female staff there especially his assistant was sooo rude that made me so uncomfortable that I was almost going to run out of there. But Dr Joshi switched her while working on me after listening to my complaint. So only one star for his staff. ⭐

My first experience with Central avenue dental was a great experience.they were so nice, and they have a girl who speaks Arabic perfectly. Her name is Sally. Made appt for cleaning and filling paid BEFORE hand and Dr.Joshi decided only to do cleaning and not filling because he had a “long day”. Unprofessional and bad customer service.

I went here last year to have my wisdom teeth removed and could not have had a less pleasant experience.The operation was performed using local anesthetics so I was not fully put under. This would not have been an issue had the procedure not taken nearly two hours. During the procedure, the woman aiding Dr. Draper had not even seen the video on how to remove wisdom teeth and was very visibly troubled by what was going on. I was having terrible pressure throughout the experience and wanted nothing more than for it to be over. However, this didnt seem to matter to Dr. Draper, as he was showing her tricks with the different tools on how to flip them between fingers to do things more efficiently, rather than tending to my mouth.Because the procedure took nearly two hours, I ended up with four dry sockets and had weeks of severe pain as a result.As a general dentistry office, Im sure theyre fine. But, for wisdom teeth removal, I wouldnt wish what happened to me on anyone.

I gave this review a while back:I had a good experience. The hygienist was kind and thorough. The new Dr. Shaw was great. I would recommend this office.This is what I say today:Ever since Dr. Jones retired, I have been patient hoping that consistency would return to this office.Every time I have been to the office I have seen a different doctor over the last few years. I had a consistent hygienist last year and she was great but today I had a new one. Not to be unkind but she had body odor and the cleaning was quite unpleasant. After polishing my teeth, she wiped them with a towel. That is just one example of about 4 unpleasant things that happened during my hour and a half appointment today.I’m sure the place is sanitary and giving adequate care but I’m switching dentists. I want to see one doctor who actually knows me.

Might be a good place to go if you have no insurance....if you do, I would go elsewhere. The young girls up front have no clue what theyre doing. Each one will tell you something different. Very unprofessional.

The work area is clean and organized, and Mrs.Samantha took very good care of me and was very profesional with her job. Dr.Chavez Was really honest about how your teeth are and what condition they are in. I recommend this place if you live around there area.

I would not recommend this place at all! They are extremely weird when it comes to letting parents go to the room with their child! And will not go into detail on what needs to be done and where the cost is coming from. Not a comfortable experience!

I went in for a consultation on a broken wisdom tooth. The staff here are very friendly and understanding. But unfortunitely I do not have any insurance so anything further than their new patient $20 exam is pricey without it. However they do have side payment methods (if affordable for low income households) so there are some savings.

Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable about what was going on and even spoke to my insurance to give me the prices loved it!

Six months ago I was told that my insurance was not covering my visit. I called my employer who in turn called the insurance company and told the office I was covered. Took 45 minutes but I did get to have my appointment. Today I went in for my cleaning and was again told I was not covered. I followed the same thing again. This time I was told they would only clean if I paid 148.00 even after employer told them I was covered. This time it was over an hour and had to come another time. After 5 or 6 years of coming there, they made me fell like a lier and that money comes before being a loyal patient. I always saw Dr. Jones until he retired. Since we always went here, I stayed because I liked it. The dentist was wonderful. Its his staff that need some work.

I was really scared to get my tooth pulled because of a traumatic experience with an extraction a year ago. But today I went in for an event for a free service & the dentist was amazing. Made sure I was completely numb & was gentle & talked me through it. The assistant was great as well. I would recommend them for sure. It was really busy & they still took care of everyone like they were a regular patient. Ill be going back for future work.

I have to say I have been scared of dentists. But today I was going in to get an antibiotic, but Dr Matt pulled a tooth that I have waited a long time to pull it. Why I waited I had very bad experience when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. My sinus cavity was was ruptured. I also had a crack in the right side of my jaw dry socket in my twenties. I had braces for 5 years as a teenager. One visit to have my wisdom teeth pulled ruined it until now.. thank you central ave dental.
