Great talent makes for great hair! This place has it, and I am so thank full everytime I arrive here. The atmosphere is friendly and fun; an added bonus.

My mother-in-law and my husband have been going to this salon for years and I decided to try it. We all see Tammy Hays and she is amazing. I was a little nervous going in because I had a very specific haircut I was wanting but Mrs. Tammy hit it out of the park and gave me an awesome haircut. Recently she did my two year old sons hair and again she did amazing.

Excellent shop!! Don’t let the homey and friendly atmosphere fool you. These ladies know how to cut and color with the best. I have been a loyal customer for 10 years. I had been to several of the high priced salons in town over the years. None of them hold a candle to the service and professionalism I receive every time I get my hair cut at A Cut Above. Very talented stylists. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Love these gals, Tammy H, Julie S, Ellen H and Tammy B! They are like family to all their customers and each other! Quiet little shop to get the latest gab or just relax and take time for yourself to enjoy your pampering. Have given and received gift certificate from here, it was the best! They even have hand made cards to put your gift certificate in! One stop SHOP! Give them a try and you wont be disappointed! Highly recommend! My entire family goes here.

I love A Cut Above. All of the hairdressers are very good and fun. They work like a family. I would have any of them color and style my hair. I have been going to Julie for over 10 years. When she was off I have had Ellen as well. There are two Tammys, one is the owner and the other is a new grandma. They are a wonderful team.

Expensive! Worth every penny! Best ribeye I have ever had, the most distinct salty flavor ever. The fat literally melts in your mouth! Steak in the local grocery store pales in comparison.

They dont answer their telephone and they cut your hair crooked

I like going to A Cut Above. It is not over priced. The lady who cuts my hair, also cut my Moms hair. The associates here are very polite and nice.

In the month March of 2018 I was put wi Ellen. She did a body perm the first week & the following week wi my Color & Cut and a clippered Taper on sides & back. Towards the end she zig zagged the right side of my hair wi her clippers I told her 2 stop. It was so damaged that I am still trying 2 grow it out. As she turned me around in the chair I was even more schocked. My hair was ORANGE !!! All I could say was OH MY GOD. I paid her & left. She was going 2 try 2 repair it but I just had no trust @ that time. I had 2 live wi that bad Taper Disaster & ORANGE hair for over a month. My money was given back but I then had to pay a LOT more money for someone 2 strip it out & recolor it after having 2 wear it for a while. Please think about what u do when u damage someones hair & what they have 2 go through afterwards !!! I WOULD RATE A ZERO BUT THERES NOT ONE.
