Lady with Gold afro cut my hair. She roughhoused my haircut, left me with pain. She did a poor quality because she was rushing the cut. Hit me with her clips, kicked me all because of time. When the cut was done she didnt let me see the small mirror and didnt blow the left over residue like you are suppose too. I came back to fix the uneveness of the cut 30 minutes later and argued with me. She then continued to still cut my hair with roughness. She had 2 chances and Haircut was bad and left me with pain. 0/5 stars. She was nice at the beginning but what can you do..

Great Clips is actually fun to visit. All the Hairdressers are very personable and make it very enjoyable. Great personalies. So much better than barber shops

2 Friday aftenoons in a row I have checked in online only to be turned away when I arrived. The store sign was illuminated with open as I got there and the store hours were clearly posted open until 6pm. Last Friday I was turned away at 5:15 and today 4:35. The reason from the stylist that answered the door was were short staffed and closing early. Why not just turn off the sign, lock the doors and leave for the day? I was the only customer there both times. Could this stylist not just take care of my quick trim?Pretty disappointed with the failure to do the obvious right thing.The good part of this is that I met a new stylist at another location today that did an absolutely outstanding job. Check out the Prairie Village location as a better alternative to the Watts Mill location I used to frequent.

Several women who had attempted to get their hair cut at Great Clips in the Red Bridge Shopping Center found their service poor. Just one of them found Christine to a worthy stylist.

First cut here was uneven and shaky. Came again cause everyone has a bad day. Two ppl were sitting in the front window not wearing masks. As someone who teaches in person at an elementary school I take this stuff seriously. Just disappointed as I dont see my self ever coming here again and the old Great Clips I went to was amazing.

Extremely comfortable/friendly atmosphere. Make sure to ask for my girl Crystal, she gives the best cut in the shop. Can’t wait to go again!

If Great Clips is going to require people to wear a mask they need to advertise it on their website and make sure they had masks available for customers. They also need somebody at the door and they need to make customers feel more welcome instead of like we have the plague or something. Over an hour wait and my husband and I couldnt even go into the building together at the same time because we did not have a mask and they did not have any available. We did not get haircuts.

I came to get a haircut at this location at 6:30 pm. They close at 7 on Mondays. The Stylist was trying to lock up when I was coming in and she had an attitude about me coming in. Anyways, She seemed very annoyed and was rude. She cut my hair very fast and the result was poor quality. Gave me an attitude about putting my hat back on after she cut it. I had a coupon so I payed $7 for the cut and tipped $5. Nevertheless I will not be going back to this location.

I came in with y soon with C appointments scheduled. Me and my son share the same barber. Another worker seated me in a chair and buzzed before I could say I have an appointment. I thought I was being prepped for my hair not an actual cut from someone else. So I have been re growing my hair for over 10 months now......I will give them a second chance today and go back. Worst haircut I have ever received. The older lady with glasses and a backwards hat helped me. She didnt listen. Gave me a cut I did not ask for. And ruined my hair. I have fine hair and told her not to put a hard part in it after she asked. Not only did I remind her of this several times she cut a hard part in anyway and said see it looks so good! I have fine hair and thinning in some areas so now I have a part that doesnt match my natural part AND A BALD SPOT SHE CUT IN ON ACCIDENT!!! I WAS BEYOND FURIOUS. She spent a total of about 5 min cutting my hair, I could have done a better job myself, backwards, in a mirror. But I thanked her, paid, and left. Only receiving 1 star because I cant leave a 0.

Went in and asked to cut my hair low and came out bald!! And she even made jokes saying my head looked like a package of hot dogs!! Really? WTH

Been coming to this location for 15 yrs (it was across the street until a few years ago... but that counts). Convenient location and nice to see familiar faces as soon as you walk in the door. The online checkin tool is also very helpful for picking a good time to visit.

I went in to this great clips to get my undercut touched up. I have really thick hair so I shave the back to thin it a little bit. First, the lady has me HOLD MY HAIR up for the entire hair cut while she hacks away at the back of my head with the buzz cutter. And I mean literally hack. I had a growing sense of unease as I held my hair in the salon chair, my arm getting sore and tired, feeling the cutters rake across my scalp at random, that she was completely ruining my hair. I was right. When I got up to look at the carnage, there were long strands of my hair on the floor, which means that she thinned my hair even more, and now it doesn’t lay correctly and feels patchy. I had my husband look at it when I got home, and the lines are now uneven and not centered. So now I can’t wear my hair up because the back of my head looks absolutely ridiculous. This is the last time I will go to great clips. The cheap prices are not worth the headache. Hopefully my hair can be salvaged, but I don’t see that being possible at this point.

They welcomed me in and gave me a beautiful cut! I got an awesome Christmas gift and a much welcome boost to my self esteem since Ive gotten SO many compliments. Thanks, you guys.

It surprises me how this place is still in business. This is my 3rd time going to this place, Ive specifically asked for the hair cut I want in full detail, and yet they still messed it up. The barbers are very uneducated and always seem to be in a rush. Then they want $16 for a haircut when I can get a better one from someplace else that is cheaper. Go someplace else if your looking for a professional perfect haircut. Not here.

I’d give a 0 if I could.I don’t usually go to this great clips but was in a rush and this was the only one in the area with 0 wait time. Now I know why.The haircut I got was nothing like what I usually get. My notes says it all and I don’t know how someone can mess it up so bad as it’s not even a complicated haircut. The stylist kept me facing away from the mirror, head down, and completely destroyed my hair without asking me for anything. It was too late before I even realized. She tried something completely new and didn’t even tell me. I got home and washed my hair only to find it to be worse than what I initially thought. 0/10 would not recommend.

I love their mobile app and can get in and out pretty quick. I like being able to check out the wait time and get my name on their list. I appreciate that they have info loaded on how I like my haircut regardless of what location I may go to. The constant churn of stylists is annoying.

Ive never had someone change my part and just start cutting without asking any questions beyond, How much would you like taken off? My hair cut was...okay... but I wont ever again make the mistake of trusting great clips to cut my hair.

I hate to leave negative comments and reviews, but I’m so bummed about my hair getting botched the last 2 times by the same person. The first time I chocked it up to it being kind of a complicated haircut. This most recent visit I asked for a pixie cut, and had the back of my head nearly shaved, minus the odd line across the back of my head. The front seems manageable, ((but MUCH shorter than I asked for, despite bringing a picture for reference.)) the back looks like she tried to give me a 90’s boy’s bowl cut. I’m not sure if there’s much that can be done to fix it until it grows out some. Looks like hats are in my future for a while.

Be forewarned that if you want anything other than a quick, chop shop haircut, they likely wont service you here. I went in around 4:15 in the afternoon for a simple, quick style I decided on last minute (were talking dry the rest of my hair, put in some product, and put in a few curls) and was promptly told that I couldnt be served as they had plenty of other haircuts checked in online that they needed to get to. (Their sign in screen showed 3 mens names.) Never mind that I was literally willing to pay $50 to have them fix my hair (more than 3x what they get for a haircut.) I should have known better than to expect good service from a chain like this. Apparently its better these days to turn-and-churn haircuts than to actually build a base of clients that want to come back to you. What a shame. Let me just say, Ive learned my lesson from their poor customer service and will not be back.

Husband got his hair cut here and although it wasn’t horrible, it showed a lack of skill for sure. He wanted a popular male cut right now, short on sides and long on top. The woman that cut his hair seemed to be confused... he said she has to cut the back of his hair several times and even so the fade was not done well at all. She also left tiny cut hair behind his ears and all over him and didn’t really wipe him off all the way. Maybe that’s not a thing they do at great clips, but I’ve never seen someone not do that... so I guess you get what you pay for. Next time we’ll pay for a $40 cut if it gets done right.

Came in this morning. Asked for a SIMPLE cut. And i just got home to brush through it (ran errands today) to find that there are SEVERAL missed chunks. My hair looks like someone took handfuls and just chopped at them. I’m appalled!

I am beside myself. I am not sure how this could have been messed up so badly. I asked for the sides of my head shaved and the long hair left alone. The hairdresser cut a huge chunk out of what used to be a straight line. This looks so bad I have no idea how it can be fixed.

This is the WORST PLACE EVER my boyfriend got a haircut here and it was all uneven, it was horrible and he was just too nice to go back and say something... she left too much hair on sides it was not faded at all!! I don’t know what is her definition of faded but it was obviously not the same one as his! Just sad! Connie needs to find another profession because obviously this isn’t for her!

Not worth it. The lady that cut my hair didnt care what I wanted all she said was okay a trim.Trimmed me up and charged me $15.00 on a fcked up haircut.She didnt even straighten out the back hairline and behind the ears. All she was doing was gossiping with the other barber.I felt suspicious when she didnt show me the back with a mirror like all barbers do.I dont recommend this Great Clips franchise to anyone.

My hair cut is horrid! I wanted a A-lone bob cut and it was completely uneven in different areas of my hair, I had to go to another place and get all my hair chopped off!!! My hair is gone! Im really upset, i had long hair, so this was already going to be a drastic cut and now i have a pixie cut because of this place, really hate this place. Im from out of town and I will tell people i know who travel to KC to stay the hell away from this place.

Went in to watts mill location. One guy ahead of me. Was told thirty minutes About 20 minutes into it another customer comes in and because the only employee knows him, he goes before me. One employee on a Saturday. What a way to run a business. I walked out.

My boyfriend just got the worst haircut here today. He had to tell the stylist to fix everything - she cut his sideburns to different lengths on each side, the sides of hair skull were sheared to patchy lengths, she didnt clean up the back of his neck, and she left the top a ridiculous length. Even after he asked her to fix it all, he came home with a huge patch of long hair on the left side and too short on the same spot on the right. It looks horrible and if I was him I wouldve refused to pay for the service. They clearly dont have well-trained staff here.
