As I sat down to begin my appointment, I overheard another patient on his way out say (with genuine enthusiasm) “That was fun guys, thank you!”.. the team at Dental Works Concord were a true testament to the patients statement, it really was a rather enjoyable experience! To say I enjoy dental appointments would generally be a massive lie, as I have had a lot of ‘not-so-fun’ dental work done in my young life, however, my experience at Dental Works Concord was very much worthy of a 5 star rating! The staff were extremely warm and welcoming and made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my appointment. They took great care of me and did a top quality job taking care of my teeth! I can truthfully say I am looking forward to my next appointment here!

I was very anxious about getting my wisdom teeth extracted at a clinic I’ve never visited before. After doing some research online I decided to give DentalWorks a try and I’m glad I did! All of the staff members were very friendly and knowledgeable. The location itself was a clean and comfortable environment. As far as my extraction is concerned, it was a painless, quick, and smooth experience!

Ive been going there for awhile and they have always been personable. Recently my Husband passed and when I went in for a cleaning, the Dental Hygienist gave me a White Rose which is very symbolic in Our Field. I was so humbled that I cried in the office. I changed dentists when moving from Charlotte in 2012 and have been very pleased with the Dental Works in Concord. The staff are very pleasant, helpful and kind. The dentists and dental assistants are very knowledgeable and caring!!!! I was surprised by this office just last week with their Crown Week...not only did they save each patient participating a big savings on their crown, the staff were wearing crowns, the office was elaborately decorated and there were refreshments to take with you!!! Ive never seen this done in a dental office.... My hats definitely off to this practice!!!

I’m on the 3rd time of trying to make an appointment with this particular office. I’ve turned in the online request for an appointment twice, no response. Then I tried to call the office during office hours, left a voicemail, and still nothing. I’ve tried requesting an appointment online again this morning and I am writing this review to see if someone will finally contact me back. A little ridiculous that you try to make an appointment with a place with NO response.Follow up - They finally called finally and they were rude on the phone to make the appointment. We will now be cancelling the appointment we made and go somewhere else. Good job for a new potential client. Also, I would be more than happy to send over my phone records showing the times in which I was on the phone trying to call this place with no response or follow up.

Wow I am SO impressed! This is the best dental experience I have ever had! (Well, if I didnt have to get a filling it would have been!!! :))It started with Shannon - the extremely knowledge front desk person with whom I made the appointment on the phone. Along with being very knowledgeable about insurance, she is extremely pleasant and kind!Erika and Dr. Kommineni were FABULOUS! Very pleasant, informative and caring. Both were primarily concerned with my comfort during my filling. THEN there is KATHY - the office manager! What a gem! She was so kind and explained my insurance estimates against the fees I would have to pay in detail - she was also concerned about my comfort and satisfaction with the visit.This was my first visit and I was super hesitant coming to a large chain dentist office after being a patient over 25 years at a private dental practice but man oh man! No need for fear - these folks are TOP NOTCH!

My husband and I came here for a cleaning. After an almost 3 hour appointment for which the hygienist was complaining about the alarm at tmobile incessantly triggering, I was told I had 8 cavities. They were extremely pushy and insisted I need them done right at that moment. Mind you, I had been there for 3 hours and needed to get to work. I also didn’t have insurance so I said I would wait for my insurance to kick in about 6 months later. I left. My husband had his cleaning immediately after. No mention of cavities other than some old fillings he had done in the military. Fast forward to six months later, insurance kicks in. We get a call that our appointments are coming up from Rebecca. My husband was not with me and he text me to make sure the appointment worked with my schedule. I told him no call back and cancel and I will call them to reschedule. He calls and speaks to Rebecca who pushes him to reschedule on the spot. He said he couldn’t at that moment and she hung up on him before he had a chance to cancel mine. She then proceeded to call me while I was mid meeting at work asking if I can keep my appointment. I told her no and she hung up on me without even asking to reschedule.The whole interaction did not sit well with me. So we decided to not reschedule and went to a different dentist to get a second opinion. Turns out I had one cavity that needed a crown. My husband had four. No mention of his prior fillings. I had to switch to this dentist due to a chance in our insurance. The cleaning was fine, but I was told I had 11 cavities that needed to be filled. This seemed excessive considering I had been getting my teeth regularly at my previous dentist. I got a second opinion and it turned out I only needed 2 fillings, not 11. If you choose to use this practice, just know that they are extremely aggressive in their treatment plans.

I love how they made it easy for me to like to go to the dentist. They always make sure that Im comfortable while Im getting a procedure done. They give me a detailed treatment plan with my cost so I can plan what I can do next to take care of my teeth. They staff is great. The office is always clean.

My experience at Dental Works this morning was absolutely wonderful! Staff was super friendly and courteous! Barely any wait time at all when I arrived! Absolutely loved how they were able to squeeze me into the schedule this morning even on such short notice! Would very much high reccomend this office to anyone! Doctor Patel is by far the friendliest dentist that I have had the opportunity to meet!

On my first trip here, I saw Dr. G. And was very impressed. He confirmed what my previous recommended. Unfortunately he was transferred to another office, but I have had nothing but the best treatment since then. I wont go anywhere else for dental treatment. The front desk staff are very personable and the techs are very knowledgeable and friendly.

I called this office and asked if my insurance was in their network because I receive two cleanings a year according to my insurance. I was told absolutely the cleanings would be totally covered. On the day of my first visit I asked again and the receptionist assured me again my insurance was in network and covered my cleanings. The person that cleaned my teeth was great and did a great job. I did think that there was a lot of x-rays made.(More that I had ever had at past cleanings.). The first statement I received I owed $111.00 after insurance payment. I call the office and was total not to pay anything until their office received an EOB from my insurance, because again I was in network and should not have to pay anything, I never heard back from this office. I received another statement on 8/16/19 stating that I owed $170.80. I took the bill to the office. There was one person in front of me and it seemed that she had the same issue with her insurance as I did. She made a payment and said that she needed her file sent to another dentist that would be covered at 100%. When I stepped up to the receptionist and asked for an explanation of my statement, she first said she couldnt find anything, but then put in the correct account number and said that my insurance only covered part of a cleaning. I began to explain that I ask when calling to make the appointment and was told my cleaning would be 100% covered, she interrupted me and said Dont yell at me. I was talking in a normal inside voice and told her so and wasnt yelling at her. She then rolled her eyes at me. I then asked why the bill jumped from $111.00 to $170.80, and she told me that they added my bill incorrectly and didnt charge me enough! I asked for a form to have my file and x-rays sent to another dentist because I wasnt going to pay premiums for dental insurance and then also pay for cleanings. My suggestion is if you choose to use any Dental Works that you make sure you contact your insurance personally and see if you are totally covered for their cleaning services.

My 13 and 8 year old actually enjoy going to the Dentist! Amy and Erika are two of the BEST dental hygienist you will find and always make the experience a good one for the kids. Shannon at the front desk does an amazing job of making everyone feel at home!

Rude office staff, billed me for a “missed appointment” but never got half of my information or called to confirm appointment, I don’t believe I ever made an appointment here but they say I did. Called to find out what the bill referred to after spending two weeks trying to call the office leaving voice messages, woman was rude and cut me off saying “okay bye” instead of providing me any more information to clarify. Needless to say if I ever do need work done I will never go here.Update: i went back through my phone records and have never received a call from this location until trying to figure out this bill. This includes the entire month around the supposed “appointment” date. And the most I can fathom is I had tried to request information to be able to talk to someone by setting something online but no one ever called to confirm or get any more information, but I don’t even have an email from this place. After reading other reviews and I see I’m not only one encountering this I highly advise listening to the negative reviews on this place.

I had a really bad infected molar and tried to get in my dentist. They couldnt fit me in for several days. I couldnt wait. So DentalWorks got me right in and took care of the tooth. I was very pleased with my experience. Everyone was so nice! Especially Beverly.

Staff was very nice but I was misled. I came in to have a filling replacement. Was paying cash so asked about pricing. Hygienist told me 32 for exam and 85 for x ray. And the filling would be from$120 to $320. It was a bit much so I decided to shop around. When I was checking out the clerk told me it was $85. All they did was look at it. So make sure that all employees are on the same page. It took maybe 10 seconds to look at tooth. Also sent 3 emails to schedule appointment and was never called back. Had to call twice before appointment was made. Should have saved my time and money. BEWARE

What an experience! Took advantage of crown day and was treated like a queen. The entire office decorated like a castle put me at ease as I was smiling when I walked in and smiling when I walked out. Kathy, Erica, Dr.Ash, everyone was so nice and the atmosphere was calming. Thanks for everything. Great place to go!!

Im not a big fan of dentists, who is?? But I found myself in pain and had to go. The staff made me feel very comfortable during the entire ordeal. THEN came the bill. Okay, I survived and didnt have to sell anything to pay it. But a few weeks later I receive a statement from my insurance saying I was responsible for more. When I called the insurance company they didnt help me at all. The representative was completely oblivious!! I called the dentist office and their new office manager Cathy was extremely helpful. She took down the information and said shed call me back. Really wasnt expecting a return call but to my surprise she did. She was able to take care of the situation and explained everything to me so that I completely understood. What a refreshing experience. She made me feel like my problem was her problem. Needless to say Ill have all my dental work done there. GREAT OFFICE!!

Had appointment scheduled for dec 28. While enroute to appointment they called and cancelled appointment. My dental insurance expires new years. I am out all the premiums i paid for dental insurance plus my lost time from work. If management is this poor it should make you question quality of care.

Everyone was very friendly. My only disappointment was that I let them know ahead of time that I have high anxiety in The dentist. No one told me I have to get something from my MD. They do not have nitrace which I had in the past. The Dental assistant was really great!

My visit here was great compared to other dental offices i have visited. I went in for 2 cavity fillings and was asssured i wouldn’t feel pain during the process since i has been through a very bad experience before, and indeed it was a smooth process with no pain.I had my 6 month clean up again today and it was a smooth process as always. Ask for Rebecca she’s the best dental hygienist and is so sweet. I get nervous whenever I go to the dentist but they make it all better!

I was in so much pain going in and everyone was very empathetic. I had to get my wisdom tooth pulled and I was very pleased with the service. I appreciate the friendly and caring staff taking excellent care of me.

1 yr ago I went in for a root canal and had THE WORST experience of my life! The front office staff is very nice but the dentist they switched to was and is horrible! Everytime I felt pain they would give me another shot however the last 20mins of my procedure I felt it all! I felt the burning and all the rest, I asked for him to stop because I could feel it but all he would say is Im sorry were almost done. Its 1 year later and my crown has fallen off and Im now having to go to an oral surgeon to have the tooth pulled. I do not reccomend this office!!

They had me do a prescription mouth wash treatment that stained my teeth a funky brownish yellow so that it look like I had rottening teeth. Three weeks later they polished the majority of it off, but there were still places unable to be reached that looked really bad.I asked to not receive that particular prescription mouthwash this visit and was told I HAD to have that. I told no so they charged me a cancellation fee of $35 because I refused to get a treatment that would stain my teeth. Not happy with this establishment.I had to go elsewhere and fortunately after a few visits the new place was able to get my teeth whitter again.

It was a very enjoyable experience. The staff made me feel right at home.

Went here and was charged $90 for no work to be done. He didnt offer any options for me only a replacement. Ended up going somewhere else and getting the work done for cheap, with options. He is a con artist. Just trying to get money out of his patients. Beware keep looking for a more affordable with the same results. Not worth the time or money.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone.They know nothing about dentures . The clinic was bought during my treatment and the new dentists totally ruined my dentures and worked on me with no records as the sent them to another office I had never been to.1 original 2 final 3 temps go ahead judge for yourself. They refused to make them look as they should.

Terrible customer service!!! They never answer the phone(at least when I call) and never return my call when I leave messages about their billing mistake. I have even walked in and explained the situation and though they claimed they would figure it out and get back with me, they have not. I have insurance (Tricare) and they filed it wrong. So I recieved a bill for over 200 dollars for a cleaning! After contacting my insurance I was informed that I only need to pay for xrays. Which I explained to dental works and Im sure my insurance company would as well if they actully try to fix their mistake. I recieve a bill every other month that changes between two amounts and both are wrong. I even told them I would pay if they could explaine to me what the extra charges are for. Still no explanation. This Feb 2019 will make 1 FULL YEAR since I went in for the cleaning and almost a YEAR of them not addressing the problem. I hate that I ever stepped foot in that place. And if you are military I say avoid this place as they dont understand that active duty and reserve are two different things and will probably file your insurance incorrectly too.

I was able to get an appointment quickly and from the first call for the appointment to the chair and to checkout, I was treated well and listened to and all my concerns were addressed. I had a tooth extracted and honestly, it did not hurt!

Had a cleaning nd a filling a few weeks after the cleaning. the dentist didnt seem to know much about tmj, but did offer to send me to a specialist.. which i declined for the time being. aside from that, the staff is absolutely amazing. they cared about me as a person.. not just in nd out. they asked about my son, the cleaning was amazing, nd the filling was quick and painless. literally. lol definitely would recommend this dentist nd location to anyone!

Needed to be seen immediately due to a severe toothache...they had no appointments, but worked me in and helped. Friendly and great customer service!!!

Wonderful at first. Sadly I needed an upper denture. It all went pretty ok except the woman insisted I was wrong about my bite being off when in fact it was/is. Went back for my permanent denture.... came out good. Dentist sent it off to be polished. I was supposed to just go in and pick it up, I was so excited to have ones that fit. They came back as horse teeth. Lab messed up. Over an hour of them trying to shave them down to fit and fix the bite AGAIN. My mouth hurt and was bleeding. I told them I had enough, the lab messed up and I was soo upset. I was in tears leaving. The office Manager Shannon I believe her name is, caught me and we went into the office. She spoke to the dentist over the matter. They said they were calling the owner of the practice and this person and that person and do whatever it takes to make this right. No phone calls to update me on the situation. Over a week later my husband and I went in there to talk to the office manager and she told them to tell me that she was in the middle of a project and couldnt stop to talk to us. So now a ton of money has been paid out for teeth I dont have and I am stuck with ones that dont fit. I cannot get answers from any of the numbers I call so I may have to get a lawyer or something to get this corrected. Do NOT go here. If they do wrong, it will not be corrected.
