The office is really nice, decent location in a very good building but that’s about where the positives end. The front desk staff is condescending and pushy - making me feel like I’m about to get a used car. They push procedures on you that you don’t need . I go there for regular cleanings and never once had the same technician cleaning my teeth. So if I like the technician, too bad, won’t get them again next time. In the 10-12 times I went there over the years, I saw Dr. Fotek maybe 4-5 times. She’s never there or is too busy to come check my teeth. What am I paying for? Plus the staff is rude and the people who clean teeth actually kinda suck at their job. They do a poor job and the one or two times I actually got a good cleaning, the person that cleaned it was gone next time I went. I Will find a new dentist soon cause I’m not going back there.

Dont go to this practice!I called and make an app. to see Dr. Fotek, for a full evaluation and a corncern in one hurting tooth. First they make you pay upfront you even enter the office or sit on the chair. This was not like that before when Dr. Fotek was in PGA.Once I saw the Dr.he did an xray and make a refferal and a plan of care. I kept asking the assistants that what about the rest of the evaluation, meaning since I knew that I have not seen the Dr. in such a long time. The first evaluation that they do is a full Ct scan that was offered when I made the app. I did not got that, once the staff saw that I was hassitating on leaving the price of the extraction stared to go down. I need it to go, so I left kind of disapponted. I have to little kids, I got busy and I forgot to called them to let them know how I feel. Called in the next day and express myself.I got to talked to the office mgr. who she have poor peoples skills. She was very rude and hang up the phone and left me with a lot of questions and stared to put words on my mouth and being so obnosious . I guess the holistic aproach is not that holistic with in the staff( meaning about if you offer holistic environment you should train your staff to know that always trat clients with respect ) Is very upsetting because unfortunally there is not too many holistic dentist in the area, but just be aweare!!!I felt I was robbed and they did not care!, they just only told me that Dr. Fotek will make another app to answer all my questions at no cost!!!I lost almost 200$, but your practice lost a client and with a very bad taste on my mouth about this holistic aproach.Because is not only about the chemicals or xrays or relaxing music is also about how you treat your clients and if they are not satisfied and did not got what they offered making the app. Take the extra mile!Now I keep calling the office to get my medical records and no one answers.It was until yesterday that I called from another number and Sara answer very sweet girl, said that she will talk to the office manager to see if it was ok to send me the records to my email. She said the office manager was in a meeting, that she will be out soon and will call me. Guess what I never got my records or my call back! I guess now they are playing games when they know I need to do an extraction as soon as possible and they have my xray and medical records.Oh! By the way I did not decline seeing Dr.Fotek again, I was very clear on Dr. Fotek plan of care and I told your office manager that I will guess I will see him after my extraction. Once again she was putting words in my mouth.What I was not happy It was that I was not giving what I paid for and after I called to explained how I feel. I was treated with disrespect and poorly!

The name Dental Healing Arts is more than just a name for this practice, to me it signifies their entire approach. Of course you get all the newest technology and Dr. Ilona is extremely knowledgeable and skilled at dentistry, but she does it all within a holistic view of patient health. And it wasn’t until my last visits where she was able to fix my worn down and chipped front teeth that I realized what an artist she is as well. My smile looks 30 years younger as my teeth are straighter and longer - and the color matching was perfect. I highly recommend Dr. Ilona.

Disappointing experience. During a recent $305 consultation (August 2020), I was disappointed to have a dental hygienist that compromised basic clean technique by placing a syringe, intended for my mouth on the desk with out a cover. This is especially troublesome given that this is during the corona virus pandemic. By placing an uncovered syringe on a desk is introducing the possibility that it may come in contact with microbes or even the corona virus. I am not especially neurotic about the virus, although expect a certain level of care while paying $305 for a consultation. The consultation with Dr Fotek, who I found pleasant, resulted in an estimate of required dental work over $10,000. Albeit, I recognize that I have deferred dental work that requires attention, the whole experience at Dental Healing Arts was disheartening.

Dr. Fotek and her staff were very welcoming. I was offered water, headphones with classical music, and a warm neck/shoulder wrap. I had a front tooth chip that was fixed to perfection. Dr. Fotek took her time, explained the procedure and did an excellent job.This is my second time doing dental work with Dr. Fotek and the quality of work is unbeatable.

Very mindful of patient health except forgot to mention the toxic acrylics being used to make my temporary that was being fitted into my mouth until it was already finished.People might like to be given a choice before the dentist assumed they are better off exposing them without a warning because it’s the convenient thing to do.Otherwise the staff are polite and efficient.

Dr. Foteks office was breath of fresh air for me as apatient that was in search of an authentic biological dental practice. My health is extremely important to me. I also needed a dental office that would work with me and my insurance company and not cipher thousands of dollars out-of-pocket when they are aware that the procedure(s) are not covered. They are at least making an attempt to bill my insurance company and provided excellent, timely service. When your CAP comes off eating breakfast and the office squeeze you in so that you arent toothless, this means everything. Ryan and the front desk was warm and extremely helpful.

Second visit to Dentist, only met dentist briefly on second visit. But all the office help are great! Very personal, happy in their work, fun to talk to and be around. Dr. Fotek seemed nice too, just havent had much time with her yet. Going back though, lots of work needed. Ugh! :)Update, they dropped my insurance company, so I dropped them.2nd update, I came back. Found out insurance does pay some, they’re just not a preferred provider. Staying for now, they’re close by and convenient, like their basic philosophy.

From the heated neck pillow and earphones playing music to drown out the drilling to the little chocolate on my way out the door, Dr. Fotek has thought of everything to make her patients as comfortable as possible. Nobody falls in love with their dentist but I can say Dr. Fotek and her staff were the most delightful dental care I have ever experienced. My appointment to do safe amalgam removal was scheduled for two hours. It took more than 3 hours to do the work I needed. I never felt like they were rushing. They were totally sensitive to my comfort and I’m actually looking forward to returning to do the next quadrant of my mouth. Thank you Dr. Fotek and staff. What a shame, staff seems personable and professional, BUT>>> Doctor made me wait in the chair for 50 minutes. Second, the office handed me off to someone to explain my needs in a consultation office it was like meeting the finance manger in a car lot, I got a very bad feeling, THAN even with my insurance, they want PREPAYMENT for any procedure, who has ever heard of such nonsense. It is like having surgery or getting your car repaired by PAYING IN ADVANCE. No trust in the patient pool, they call it office protocol. I am going someplace else. I doubt this is even legal.

I dont know if the reviews are lies or what, but I just called and recieved the worst service ever OVER THE PHONE, so imagine how it is in person...I called in looking for heavy services for my mother and was treated very rudely. I understand I shouldnt have started off the call asking for the price of the service right off the bat, but Im usually a straight to the point person, especially with dentist and doctors when there are many options available. Additionally, I have wasted thousands on dentist throughout the year with no results, so naturally Im tired of insanely high prices, hidden fees and lies. Plus, I actually started off saying I have a few things to talk about as Im possibly a new patient and would start off with the price and build off from there.I guess the receptionist didnt like that, so she thought it was necessary and felt the need to carry the call with a nasty attitude. She started off with writing down my mothers information (even though I wasnt sure if I was about to make an appointment or not?) for no reason. I even explicitly told her Im not sure if I will be setting an appointment or not and she gave an attitude-filled reply. Then proceeded to act confused as to who the appointment is for even though I mentioned multiple times its for my mother.Throughout the call she then assumed that I didnt know that this was a holistic dentist and that I was just price shopping (yes, she said those exact words. More specifically, she said, Look, I understand that youre price shopping right now but...).Then, because I did my research beforehand and read on this businesss website that they do root canals (what holistic practice does root canals??) I asked her if she could explain to me that process and whats going on there. She quickly just said no that this doctor doesnt do it (then why is it on the website??). After bringing up the website she quickly dismissed it and pushed it off by getting seriously upset that she apparently heard two people speaking on the phone even though it was only me talking. (Lol, are you going to hang up if you simply hear wind in the background or something?)In the call I also went on to ask specific questions in which she ever so briefly touched on them. In no way can someone make a decision with the responses she gave.In all, for $305 the first consultation (no cleaning included), it isnt worth it in my opinion if youre going to treat your potential clients this way, especially if all they want is information to help decide if they want to choose your services or not.For anyone interested, here is the information I managed to get so you wont heve to undergo this frustrating and rude interaction as well:- $305 first visit, no cleaning. According to the snarky receptionist, xrays are included, but I doubt it since this isnt normal among other dentists.- They do not do root canals (even though the website says they do?)-They apparently do extract teeth but try their best to save the teeth as much as possible.- They have 3 cleaning options/services. The specifics/type and pricing can only be said after being seen by the dentist. I was not informed on each type or what is done on any.- Im not sure if they work with insurance.

All I can say is FABULOUS!!! For a person like myself who had extensive dental procedures, Dr Fotek is the best of the best. I only wish I found her sooner. the office staff is great. The dental hygienist is phenomenal. Never had teeth cleaned so well ever. Cant say enough about Dr. Fotek and her staff just excellent and exceptional!!!

Excellent all around. I have been searching for a Dental Office & Dentist that I felt comfortable with and would do the proper & best proceedure to fix my broken molar. I definitely made the right choice. The proceedure that Dr. Fotek did was much better than what was described by other Dentists. The office is very modern & up to date certainly a notch above the other offices Ive been in. Dr. Fotek was able to fit me into the schedule right away. It was not a simple proceedure, the results of which I am extremely pleased. Dr. Fotek is an amzingly knowledgeable Dentist who was also able to put me at ease. I highly recommend this office.

My experience with Dr. Ilona Fotek was absolutely outstanding! I was extremely impressed not only by her professionalism and the way she treated me as a person, but also by her wonderful staff. They were friendly, extremely helpful in scheduling me as soon as possible and thorough in discussing treatment plans, etc. I am a physician who has been in practice for the last 40 yrs and I must say I was extremely touched by the compassion she showed not only to me, but also with the relative of a patient who was being treated the same day I was there. I will continue here mostly because as a doctor of holistic natural health and nutrition I see huge value in Dr. Foteks organic, holistic methods in spite of her prices and a few glitches.

I am beyond thrilled with this dental practice. I have never had a more thorough yet gentle examination and dental cleaning. WOW! I felt completely secure and at ease with Dr. Fotek and her staff. I do need to have a mercury filling removed and I will be using Dr. Fotek to do this procedure. In addition to Dr. Foteks exceptional training, read her bio on her website, I was impressed with her extensive knowledge of vitamins, minerals, diet, etc... and how they can keep your mouth healthy and teeth clean. So important. The office is beautifully modern, in decor and in the latest dental technology, yet feels like a spa, and the people are so kind. This practice is an A+++++

As I walked into Dr. Ilona Foteks office the word attunement came to mind, a harmonious blend of setting, staff, and skilled professionals. The waiting area offered a sense of calmness with soft background music, elegant decor, citrus infused water etc. all of which lent itself to lessening patient anxiety. The dental area was free flowing with welcoming professional staff. Every step of the process gave you a sense of comfort. Dr. Foteks kind and caring demeanor and respectful manner towards her staff was impressive. Her holistic approach, talented skill, and attention to detail were excellent! My only negative comment is payment structure and process. Patients are required a 50% deposit upon booking and some services are excessively priced.

Excellent dentist!!!!! I drive up to Jupiter from Lake Worth, and I would drive where ever Dr Fotek is. She and her staff are the best!!

Dr Fotek is a great Dentist! Very thoughtful through and took more than substantial time with me. The office staff on the other hand was brutal, difficult and treated me like cattle. Did services that were not covered by my insurance and didnt inform me of the fees I would receive later. Then my insurance was all of a sudden no longer accepted there, so when I finally found a new dentist and asked for them to send over my X rays they beat me up over a tiny balance before they would release my records. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told: she was not available.For a practice built on the holistic approach all zen and yoga-like when you walk in they sure act like a NY Deli No Soup for you! - Worst experience ever!

I was not well informed of their insurance practices prior to driving an hour away from home to make it to my appointment. Had I known that they were not willing to work with the insurances I had, I would not have wasted my time. A few members of her front desk staff could have handled the situation in a better and friendlier manner, and I hope that in the future, they better inform patients of their insurance practices early on. When I later found out they would not work with my insurance, they were quick to aide me in discontinuing my services with them.Update: Doctor Fotek did call me back to discuss my rating and I have changed my ratings to reflect her efforts to avoid losing me as a customer and welcoming me back in the future, but I didn’t feel comfortable going back.

Dr Fotek is very caring, thorough and knowledgeable individual. Highly recommend.

Dr. Fotek removed a lot of amalgam from my teeth and created new implants to replace removed teeth. She and her staff are wonderful!
