They have a fast turn around when it comes to appointments. I wasnt sure if they would take my insurance but found out that they took all insurances. I spoke to a Tawanna, she was very professional and knowledgeable. Very friendly personality. I would recommend talking to her if you run into any trouble. Great service and Great People!

I can’t say enough about how welcoming and caring the staff at OPC Jacksonville are. There’s no doom and gloom here. It’s all positive energy. I’ve been an amputee since 2006. I expect a great deal from the company making my leg that’s vital for me to function on a daily bases.OPC checks all the boxes. I don’t believe no is in their vocabulary. I’ve been a customer for years. In December 2019 I received a RBKA. In January 2020 while I was in rehab, I was visited by a representative from OPC Jacksonville, his name was Mike. At the time I was struggling just to maneuver with my walker to get from one place to another. Mike introduced himself to me and talk to me and said that we would get a leg and be back to where I was before. At the time I was not sure I was going to be able to do this. He told me as soon as I was released from my doctor to call him and he will start the process. I called him and made my first appointment. I was still unsure of what was going to happen. He talked to me and explained the process. I felt very excited that maybe this is going to happen. In May I received my casting Mike assured me that when I came in for the fitting I will be walking out of the office. I had my doubts it seemed to good to be true. I was called in for the fitting. The fitting went great! I walked out of the office pushing my wheelchair!!! I am so grateful for Mike and the entire staff at OPC Jacksonville. The entire staff are very friendly and knowledgeable it made me feel like I was at home! Thanks to all the staff at OPC Jacksonville!!!

I am an amputee and this place has restored my happiness with the compassion and care of every staff member. Tawanna is such a pleasant and bubbly soul with a professional attitude and she has been my counselor at times and I am grateful to her.. Mike is an amazing sculptor and helps so many people to regain insependen.... Stephanie has also been such an advocate for me battling Medicaid to make sure I get the prosthetic thats necessary for the injuries ice sustained besides my amputation...overall, this place deserves more stars than yall allow us to give and I am grateful anx blessed to be a patient here!!! The Jacksonville, FL location of OPC (Orthotic and Prosthetic Centers) is 5 star all the way! You won’t find a more caring and dedicated prosthetist, and the staff is amazing!!

Terrible experience. The staff is nice however they did a horrible job preparing me for the orthotics. I am fairly young and have had a very difficult time finding shoes to fit the new custom orthotics that are necessary to treat my injured ankles. This is a warning for anyone who needs to get orthotics, I Have searched for five weeks and went through at least 15 pair of shoes trying to find a fit. I would like a pair that fit and do not look like Frankenstein or vinyl velcro shoes. They have to be wider and deeper. I finally found a pair that were wide enough today and thought they were going to be OK however after taking my first walk, they are not deep enough and the back of the shoe rubs near the Achilles tendon. Unfortunately because of this, these $350 a pair orthotics are about to go in the closet and never be used. When I went back to pick them up, I brought the only shoes that I had and he said I can tell you right now those are going to fit. They should have a list of known brands that are a likely fit and the minimum width and depth the shoes need to be. This would be very helpful for someone who wants a stylish shoe. The other issue I had was that I could only pick the orthotics up on a Monday or a Wednesday. In July I think nobody was there on Wednesday so I could only go on a Monday. Well, I work out of town so this was difficult to have such limited appointment options.
