Extremely slow service, with a rude and disrespectful receptionist behind the front counter, she talks negatively to ppl in the waiting room, and you can be stuck waiting possibly up to 3+ hours because they schedule most appointments at similar times, she isnt helpful and wont reschedule ppl that cant wait several hours, I believe most missed appointments is because of this company here, and her most of all, not to mention out of all their P.O.s only two ever show up and working each time Ive ever visited, the only thing that moves at a understandable speed is batters intervention, also the receptionist will send out anyone that dont know English, without helping them figure out how to get help when required to come here, the worst part of all this, is our hard working tax dollars go to this company, who takes money but minimizes their work theyre supposed to be doing, we need this place on an undercover inspection throughout about a years span, or an employee check atleast

This location is specifically for probation. The receptionist is quite rude. The probation officers are much nicer. Everyone seems really stressed out and overwhelmed. Youre expected to arrive on time. But you will be seen late.

This location is home of the probation office. Most of the staff here are evil and treat people inhuman. Someone needs to regulate these people. The employee at the window always has the nastiest attitude and will not answer the simplest question. There is a reason they wont let you record them!

The probation department is absolutely rude. I called for a different reason trying to get information on something the lady laughed at me because I thought I called the wrong number when I asked to be transferred to someone else she got nasty and hung up on me twice the customer service was awful the problem is they don’t know what someone on the other end of the line could be going through , just be kind .

Very rude and unprofessional staff answering the phone. I was hung up on twice when I called to ask a simple question that could’ve been answered easily and politely. The staff member answering the phone refused to identify herself before being extremely rude for absolutely no reason and hanging up, twice. I feel bad for her and what she must be going through in her life to treat strangers this way.

The people were nice, but I showed up early (12:40) for a 1:30 pm appointment and was not seen until about 2:40pm. People with 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm appointments were being seen before I finally was. Not a good first impression. But, the staff were nice, helpful, and answered all my questions in a very professional manner. That alleviated much of my frustration. If they are that helpful with many of their clients, I can understand why it took so long to see me. I simply was not expecting the delay, but it was worth it in the end.

Why am I unable to give 0 stars? Working with this office has been a nightmare! My brothers first probation officer gave him wrong information on how to complete his volunteer hours, this PO quit 2 months later, then my brother was never assigned a new probation officer. He was not aware that the information he was originally given was wrong until 2 months before he was suppose to be off of probation. When he was completed with probation, he was told to call the Director to receive verbal confirmation. He left over 20 voicemails- she never called back once. He tried calling into the main office and if anyone ever answered the phone, they would just inform us that the director was out of the office and they couldn’t help. Fast forward 2 months later, after having called into the office almost daily and not getting an answer, I reached out to the clerk of courts to see if they could help. I then found out they had printed the wrong Case ID number on his termination paperwork, hence why we weren’t able to get an answer. This office is unprofessional and unorganized, having gave us wrong information twice that was vital to the success of this program, and then failing to answer phone calls to continue to help. I thought the justice system was supposed to be helping and reforming offenders, not giving them false information and leading them in circles?

The staff that I interacted with were very gracious and professional. Mrs. Perry did a tremendous job and treated me respectfully. She was Timely with my appointments and took effort to answer any questions I had. She was five stars all the way.I knocked off a star because I did have the manager act a little weird my first visit. There was a car parked out front and she thought it was mine. Apparently she really doesnt like when people Park there and verbally berated me in a rude and confrontational way. However, I never had an experience like that with any other staff that worked there, it was an isolated occurrence to that one person.

WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STEPPED INTO. If you can change probation offices please do. I wouldn’t even want to donate anything here. The front staff is rude and nasty and not helpful whatsoever. My probation officer could’ve given 2 ***** about what I was doing. I tried to reschedule one of my appointments and never got a hold of him. When I went into the office finally they told me he didn’t work there anymore (would’ve been nice to know). Going to this place was the worst part of my probation I would’ve rather done 1000 community service hours.

This review is for the Salvation Army child care downtown Jacksonville. Heres an honest review, you should really think twice about signing up your kids here. Honestly, the Guild 5 stars had us, plus the name recognition of the Salavation Army had us sold. After, our initial visit we placed both our daughters there. Very quickly it went downhill. For one, our 3 year old whos never been in daycare ever, had been potty trained at home and had 2 accidents at daycare her first 3 days. Without consulting me or my wife at all, a letter was sent home to us stating that our 3 year old will be in a 2 year old class to better serve her. We expressed our displeasure for not being notified and asked to give our 3year old a second chance because shes probably was nervous,we were only met with no. When asked how long she would be with two year olds we were told as short as a week, which was also not true. When we picked her up the next day, we asked the teacher if she had any accidents the teacher replied she hadnt went to the bathroom all day. We dropped our daughter off at 8am and picked her up at 6pm and the teacher stated she hadnt gone to the bathroom all day, yet my daughter smelled with a heavy odor of urine.Secondly, one day my wife was running a few minutes behind and dropped our daughter at 9:05am, the director told her the child will not be accepted because shes 5mins late. Please keep in mind, when we did the tour the director stated the children needed to be here by 9am for head count so the cook knows how much food to serve. It was never stated specifically to us that if were not inside by 9am the child wont enter, not even a warning for our first time. She was turned away. Also, the teaching staff is not very inviting or kind after youve signed up with them at all. After my daughter smelled like heavy urine we decided to make multiple daily visits to check on them and found that in the 3 year old class there was mostly only one teacher, yet they stated theres always two. The always had a classic excuse why they were a teacher short. After these issues we started looking elsewhere in the area because of our needs, the two best we found were Chappelle School at Fscj and First Baptist Academy, both 5 star day cares. After touring both of them the thing that stood out to us immediately was how happy the kids were at the other schools. Not to say that werent happy at the Salvation Army, but it was convincingly clear the kids were happier at the others. We felt First Baptist Academy was the best between the two but they didnt have any room left so we gladly settled with the Chappelle School downtown where it feels like were leaving the kids at their grandmas house. The curriculum is up to par, its a 5 star program and were all on the same page together. Im only leaving this review because I know how scary and difficult it is to blindly leave your child with a stranger, its very scary, but I can vouch the Chappelle School is awesome. I hope this reaches someone and you can take it for what its worth. Lastly, WHOEVER you choose, and I know its difficult, but go unexpectedly and visit your child care provider numerous times within a week or two and thatll tell you all you need to know. It doesnt take a lot to find out whats really going on and your child will thank you for it.Take care
