They never answer the phone no matter how early you start calling. How does someone receive help you cant get through. They need to do better

A Veteran was sent here by the VA and he is not being helped. When he asked Roya for her supervisor she cursed him out. His deadline is two days. Help for the Veteran would be greatly appreciated.

I first called march 20th and applied for help because of job loss due to covid -19 its now june and still no direct answer from the worker all im told in a rude manor is that she has more than 200 cases this is crazy ..still waiting to hear back from her guess we will be evicted before she decides to help or answer.

My wife and I lost everything in the 2008 sub prime ended up living in the car both Catholics we went to church one Sunday and found out about the help they supplied to all faiths or no faiths wonderful people Saturday morning is the day food clothing and help of the highest quality a little bit of advice get there and get in line early it gets busy quickly but cant say enough please dont worry about religion it doesnt matter who youre god is its dont ask dont tell cannot give it highest praise wonderful place give 10 stars if I could.

They have been extremely rude, and not helpful. I was contacted by a worker, and someone referred me to them. I have numerous times tried to contact my case worker and I have felt hopeless, and left me in tears. The operator even went to the extent of hanging up on me while trying to find out who my case worker is.I was contacted shortly after leaving this review and feel a sense of relief. Since thethey first review they have communicated with me to let me know what is going on, were very receptive and kind, helpful with direction of who my case worker is. Totally different experience then the previous 5 months. They are great. Ive asked for help in the past with utilities. They did more then help pay JEA. They also gave me food, that I needed but didnt ask for. I listened to there recording and they help with various situations.

I am sitting her for the 2nd day in row in tears. I came here because we need help with a utility bill due to me be out of work for 8 weeks due to an emergency surgery.This would be the 2nd ever we have asked for help. We where here in 2017 because of medical issues.The aditude and compassion is no long here with the workers. You dont see happy faces. The front desk lady is so so rude. She made comments about my kids ..(who are both deaf and one is 18 months old). Then, she put in a tiny room and when I want to ask her a question she told sit down and she would not answer questions and just walked away. The last time we were here, we meet with a worker in thier office, and today or yesterday I didnt even get out of the lobby. My case worker did everything in front of everyone.This normally is a great place but I am so disappointed in the staff for the way they treat pepole now.

This place really helps people,the staff there is very kind people,and help out anyone that goes there with a good attitude,waiting time is no longer than supposed and you dont get asked so many questions,only the necessary for the food giveaway.

Staff provides general assistance. Non profit charties working to help those less fortunate. Food bank mornings and afternoons. Clothing and other sundry items.Blessed are those who give with no expectation of anything in return.

Nice people but they give out rancid meat and vegetables. So if you go there to get food you may as well throw the meat and prepared saladsin the trash. They obviously dont care about food poisoning. How sad.

My name isn’t on the lease but I need help paying my rent ASAP I was layed off unexpectedly and I can’t pay my rent I don’t know what else to do I have the lease reason why I can’t pay it proof I was paying it everything they gave me a 3 day notice witch ends Monday I have 3 step kids and my girlfriend how stuck out off town from trying to get them I’m at a cross road and I don’t know what to do
