I have been a patient of Dr Krause for the past 13 years. I believe I have been very well served by Dr K and his small staff. Dr K is patient and unexciteable with is patients. He asks questions to ensure he understands what his patient is telling him. I trust Dr K completely. That is why I agreed to participate in the remote monitoring program Dr K now offers. I have used the blood pressure cuff and it read my BP and transmitted it to Dr K and the monitoring service. Soon I will be able to monitor my weight also. I like this new capability offered by Dr Krause.

Doctors in Jacksonville are under a lot or pressure by government regulations (Medicare, etc) and the bottom line. Particularly the small offices such as Dr. Krause. One Doctor, one nurse, and one receptionist. They are trying to keep cost as low as possible for our benefit. I commend him for that.Most of his patients are like me, retired folks. I dont mind waiting.I have read all the reviews and I certainly understand peoples concerns, but they need to try to understand. If they want A-One service, then go out to I40 and head west then drive 1 hour - 2 hours and stop in Raleigh and see what kind of medical services they can find there. Otherwise gird your loins and buck up!Since Covid hit, people are impatient and rude. We need to calm down and try to be more understanding and patient with each other. Myself, and my kids are patients of Dr. Krause. He is very professional, and takes his time to listen to your concerns. My 12 yr old boys are very comfortable with him as well. We never feel rushed through our appointments. His nurse and receptionist are very sociable and help balance out the whole experience.

Absolutely love this place 💕 they are extremely friendly. If you arent comfortable with male doctors I dont recommend but Mr. Krause is by far the best doctor Ive ever had. Hes understanding non-judgemental and very supportive. The staff also go above and beyond to let you know they care. If you havent had a family/ work relationship with your doctor and/or nurses you are definitely missing out.10/10 service, and scheduling!!!

I’ve visited this office twice now and I have called my insurance provider to change my doctor. During both of my visits, Dr. Krause lacked empathy and professionalism and came off very cold. The set up of his office is off putting as he has a record player, his office desk space and what looks like doctor’s equipment & patient bedding from 1960. He offered no explanation of condition, how to make it better or understand my situation. They had me walk from room to room and not once does the nurse visit with the doctor to summarize what I needed, instead they call each other when they are feet apart from one another. I left feeling like I was their way of earning income rather than caring for me as a patient who was uncomfortable and in a lot of pain. If I could give him 0 stars I would, I absolutely would not recommend to anyone.

The doctor listened to my concerns was professional and courteous. I have never had a single issue here. Staff are polite and helpful. I never wait more than 10 min to see the doctor. Honestly, they are very professional and I highly recommend them.

Honestly dont see how they have ever been rated 5 stars. Ever. Ive been waiting for a referral for a doctors appointment to go through for over 3 months. For an appointment down the street from them. They couldve gave it to me and I couldve walked the damn referral in there myself the same day. They are pointless, they dont answer the phone either. I had to go back to question them about the referral and now theyre saying its the doctor when the doctor said they havent received one yet which is why I couldnt set an appointment. So on top of them sucking theyre liars. The first time I came here I thought eh, they suck but I dont know why they have 2 stars on Google. I do now. I also heard them talking about a patient here in such a terrible way (she had fertility problems) I said wow I hope I never have a serious issue and come here just knowing they could possibly talk about me in that fashion. I will say that the doctor himself is good! But lord knows he needs to hire a new team.

I have gone to Dr. Krause twice. He was my PCM for about 7 months. Dr. Krause is fine, but his staff and office logistics leave a lot to be desired.The first time, his staff were really stressed out by the fact that I had my baby in a carrier instead of a stroller/ car seat. They insisted on taking my weight and told me I needed to let a nurse hold her so I could be weighed. Then they were stressed out by the fact that baby was crying because a stranger was holding her. She was going through separation anxiety and I had her in the carrier so she wouldn’t cry. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The whole thing was really unnecessary and stressful- mostly because they were all freaking out. Seriously- the nurses were visibly shaken. Because of a baby.The second time, I went because I needed a referral that required blood work. They knew this when they scheduled my appointment, and yet they scheduled me for 3pm. I waited almost an hour to be seen, and by the time I left Dr. Krause the nurses said that it was too late to have the blood work done and sent to the lab. They told me to come back in the morning. Well, that night I was so sick I couldn’t sleep and therefore couldn’t safely drive in the morning. I tried to come in the day after, but they closed early for Labor Day and told me that they don’t do blood work on Fridays.Every time I needed something done I ended up going to a more efficient urgent care place. I’ve never seen anything quite like it.

Dr Krause is my new pcm after my husband retired from the Military.. I must admit that reading some of the google reviews of the office I was at first a little hesitant to call or go in however knowingly needing to experience the office for myself.. My appointment was made by phone and the nurse was helpful and professional. Upon my appointment date and time I was 15 minutes early as asked to be with everything the nurse asked me to bring... Arriving at the office I was greeted with a warm welcome from the receptionist and shortly afterwards was called back in less than 10 minutes.. Then greeted by a nurse with a smile and a welcome.. The nurse explained office procedures and was very helpful with explaining my meds.. After check-in I waited again less than 10 minutes to see Dr Krause and then he as well was professional and helpful with my health care needs & questions and in getting health information from my past pcm and meds refilled.. Overall my personal experience was a good one and the staff at the office treated me very well.. Freada

I had waited about a month and a half for a new patient appointment, I finally got in with the doctor and he was kinda rude. I had never really had a doctors appointment on my own so I was asking a lot of questions and he was very quick to cut me off and tell me no. We got to the quick examination on the table and I was wearing some what short shorts and he saw I had red spots on my thighs. He asked the normal questions do they itch? No does it hurt? No how long have you had them? They come and go when Im stressed oh well youve got scabies then I said Im pretty sure theyre not scabies since they dissappear in a few minutes and my husband certainly doesnt have a rash similar but he just wouldnt have it. He prescribed me scabies cream any way and good thing I have on base pharmacy and didnt have to pay for some stupid cream that I threw away when I got home because the spots were already gone. He wouldnt listen to me, his staff takes forever to get something done and when they do get it done its not entirely right. I need an orthopedics doctor for an injury I had a year ago thats still healing and they kept giving me the number for physical therapy so when I called they said they dont have anything for me but the orthopedic doctor does i was annoyed because they told me like three times to use this number but it was a clearly different number I needed. A day ago I needed to call to ask if I can get a prescription filed without coming in because it was a standard birth control they said theyll ask and call me back but that was 12pm on Thursday that I asked with no call back still on Saturday. All the doctors Ive been with have always listened but him. I do not reccomend

I walked out of this office crying and changed my provider as I sat in the office. I’ve never felt more judgement and hatefulness before in my life with a providers nurse but the provider was decent once I sat down with him

Would give 0 stars if I could. The old bitter lady at the front desk was horribly rude and laughed when I told her I was around 17 weeks pregnant and hadn’t been to the doctor because of insurance issues. When I asked why she thought that was funny she said “it’s just crazy to me that you haven’t been yet.” One it’s none of her business whether I’ve been to the doctors yet, and two no matter what circumstance I should not be laughed at for coming to receive care.

Hes listened to my concerns every appointment. He inputs everything Ive said. Ive seen him for the past year, and Ive always been treated well.As for the other reviews... A long time for being seen for the first appointment is average for a small town with a LOT of people. Especially when Naval decides to disenroll their patients without their consent (what they did to me).Naval always shoved me from one dr or pa to the next. I dont have that issue when seeing dr krause as he runs his own practice and is the only doctor there.

The Doctor is very nice and intelligent. But the nurses need to have an attitude adjustment.They act and look like old bitter hungover women. Very bad attitudes for no reason.

I have been seeing dr.krause on and off for about 5 years. Reading some of the reviews I can’t believe it’s the same office. I personally love everyone of the staff, they are always so very nice and informative, I have never had a problem with them answering the phones or getting an appointment, yes sometimes I have to wait Bc it’s a doctors office, don’t go to the docs if you aren’t expecting some kind of wait (once in a blue moon it’s a long wait but usually in and out) dr.krause has never had a problem writing a referral for me when it’s needed. Yes he sits at his desk and types but he is looking up your medical info putting in your medical info and always follows up on any condition you’ve been diagnosed with.

They have horrible customer service, every time I call them they have an attitude, they have lied to me about my medical results. I do not recommend this office.

I can’t ever get anyone to answer the phone. Last time we were in his wife (the receptionist) had over booked him and so we were there for an hour. One doctor and one nurse and one receptionist. He is not very friendly and when asked for a referral to have my sons tonsils and adenoids removed he said that it was an unnecessary surgery even though he had been diagnosed with sleep apnea and having tonsils and adenoids has been known to eliminate sleep apnea in children. He gave me the referral after complaing that it was unnecessary and my son had his tonsils and adenoids removed and bam sleep apnea gone like that! Tricare assigned him as my pcm but I do NOt recommend him.

Wish i could give ZERO STARS! Worst experience with him! Changing ASAP! If you have serious conditions like cancer and so on find a different PCM. I moved from FL and i need at least 6 refferals to specialists. He told me he can only do one referral because doing to many refferals is a pain for him to do. Not the best Customer service. He also is always typing away in a computer while you explain situations to him. Find someone who will listen and give you the time needed. This guy isnt it.

Dr. Robert Krause has been my PCP for 7 years and I am quite pleased with his diagnosis of my ailments, discussions, treatment plans, medication and follow up. He is very easy to talk to and his staff is awesome!

I hate this place. Everyone but Dr.Krause is so rude and unhelpful. I feel like they take forever to do everything just because they can. Ive been waiting for a referral since August of 2017 because they wrote the wrong code the first time. Super frustrating.

Establishment was small and smelled bad, the old hag at the front desk was inconsiderate and rude. She had the audacity to laugh at my wife for being pregnant. Wouldn’t recommend any other service memeber to go here. And I also wouldn’t recommend keeping the secretary employed. I’ve been to many doctors offices and that first time I’ve seen someone so bitter and rude to a patient. I didn’t see the doctor but I wasn’t going to put up with that disgusting attitude the staff has to see him, I’m sure with the two stars he is rated he isn’t very good anyways. Worst experience ever. Booked a new patient appointment months out because that was the soonest they had. Come to myAppointment and they scheduled me on a different date they had and wouldn’t see me. I needed a referral for my depo shot which i could not get. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Was there to get my physical so i can keep receiving my ssi benefits. Got there got told my family could not be in the room with me which i found out was not true from ssi... Waited a baout a whole hour before even being seen and thing is i was the only one there to be seen..... After finally being seen i am pushed past my physical limitations to a severe point of i can barely move! Do not go here! Please for safety of yourself and your family stay away.

I have called several times and have yet to get an answer. No one answers the phone so how am i supposed to make an appointment? I have called within business hours, it rings 4 times and then says the office is closed. I have been trying to reach this office for over a week.

You would think with all the time the doctor spends on his computer that he would have automatic appointment reminders in place or at least there open hours on google but no. Not very patient friendly at all .
