Not sure what happened to this place but it’s horrible. They do NOT respond to their own portal messages, I sent a message last week Monday and still have NOT received a message back. I even called and received a message from the medical assistant that the dr had my results and would get back with me. That was Wednesday. This isn’t the first time this happened but it will be the last. And now they want $25 per family member to get OUR records even after we have been patients there for over 5 years. I would give 0 stars if that was an option. HORRIBLE customer service and extremely unprofessional.Lol to the response below. I received a message from YOUR office staff that my results were received and sent to the dr for review 2 days before I requested my family’s records. Let’s not act like this is simply not responding quickly enough. It has been a week and nothing. Not a call. Not a message. Nothing except for when I contacted you.

Completely satisfied with the care I receive from Dr Hashey and the friendly, efficient front desk staff who strive to assist in a competent manner. Referrals and follow ups are handled in a very organized timely manner. To further make going there easier, they even do lab collection on site. Highly recommend this office for their efficiency. Dr Hashey always has a great sense of humor and listens very well. Caring, compassion and understanding are all offered at this office.

I came here about a week ago to establish care as a new patient. My insurance had changed due to getting cut back part time at work so I had to find a new primary. Regardless of the person at the front desk reiterating “we needed you here with your paperwork done” after I apologized first for not having done so. (I showed up an extra 10 min earlier than the 15 min early time they told me so I could do so.) Stephanie was very professional and thorough asking questions, as was the assistant who took my blood pressure. I made it clear I had been out of a medicine I depend on for almost 2 weeks. I didn’t necessarily expect to just be given a script as a new patient, but when I was on my way out I was trying to clarify at what point I could get my script written, and I knew then I would not be continuing care here. For some reason they schedule blood work a week out (rather than just a referral for Quest,) needed a medical record request (I understand that’s normal,) and said I would need to do a follow up for the blood work and the first appointment for that wasn’t until almost November, I didn’t even have my work schedule made through then. I could just see dollars racking up and when I tried to clarify if once my records requested were received could I then get my prescription, I could not get a clear answer from the front desk. I honestly feel like the fact that I’m 25 and told them I work at a medical cannabis dispensary (when they asked about employment;) they looked at me differently than say an older veteran seeking the same basic prescription.I left and immediately made an appointment with a doctor a friend recommended, they had me in 2 days later, and the PA was very understanding and compassionate of the insurance change situation and the fact that I had been out of my medicine for almost 2 weeks. Because withdraws and seizures are a serious thing.I see the office is very engaged with the online reviews, so I will ask regardless of my grievances you not disclose any Information about my medical history or care. Some of the replies seem borderline HIPPA violations discussing patient information, regardless if the person who wrote the review said the same thing. Should have read the reviews.Response to the owner: I was told my lab work would need to be scheduled, I was never told that I could go to quest. When I see a doctor, I would expect all options be explained. That would have been something that could definitely have expedited the process and changed my course of action. As for a safer alternative, I don’t know what you’re referring to. I discussed the medicine I needed and was told the steps I would need to take and it seemed like an extremely long process to get the medication. Never discussed a “safer alternative.” At all. Didn’t happen. But I found a Physician that got me the medicine I needed and will be getting the lab work next week or “whenever is convenient” with no issues. I ended up receiving the care I needed. If anything maybe this can be a learning experience. Explaining the ins and outs of every process and being informed of all options to expedite care and lack of confusion definitely would have made this a better experience. Again, Stephanie and the assistant were great. Just not the rest of the experience.

I had an unfortunate visit once and left a negative review. I recently came back and had a wonderful experience. I dont remember the doctors name but she was very smart and professional. The medication she prescribed has worked phenomenally well and I feel so much better after only a couple days. My husband and I took our daughter today and we saw Stefanie. Stefanie usually works with my husband as well. My daughter felt really comfortable with her and shes doing her best to make my daughter feel well without overloading her on medications which I really appreciate. Im very happy with my new doctor and I hope to be with this doctors office for a long time.

Took my mother here, she recently moved from Savannah. Stephanie went above and beyond to listen to her. Very long visit because Stephanie listened to my mother, tell her stories, go over old history. Stephanie was fantastic and very caring. Front desk staff was very kind and repeated everything over and over until I or she understood. If you want listening skills, here is your place.

I was quite happy with the PA Stephanie for about two years.I had seen her on a Tuesday but on Friday I was short of breath and called to request a chest xray. After 6 phone calls I was told they had to check with my insurance which was bull as it covers even Mayo clinic. On Sunday my neighbor insisted on taking me to the emergency room! I was hospitalized for a week. I did hear from them but it was TWO Months later!! Obviously, I fired them, dont feel they care😤😤

Dr. Hashey and his team were fantastic. I was walked into my exam room at the exact time of my appointment. Dr. Hashey was in to see me less than 10 minutes after his nurse took my vitals. He was patient, understanding and careful in his prognosis. He took his time..made sure I was comfortable and made me feel that my well- being was important to him. Wouldnt see any other Doc.

Best doctors office around. An amazing office staffed by some of the best people you can find. Anytime I have needed something they got me in and got me taken care of. Their caring and attention to detail shows in all they do. It is obvious they care about people more than profit, which is hard to find these days. If you can get a new patient opening I highly recommend them.

I was feeling very ill on Monday afternoon when I went to my doctor appointment. Everything was fine and everyone there treated me with respect. I went to pick up my prescriptions and I waited, but was taken care of in the end. But, I should not have been rude. I sincerely apologize for my comment. I am very sorry for my disrespect and rudeness. I am very sorry for my comment.

Saw Dr. Hashey today for a follow-up visit and thought it was time I took a minute to post a review. I have been going here for 5-6 years now and have never encountered anything but a professional, friendly team of people, who genuinely take the time to care about me. I always have all my questions answered, they are thorough and honest with my medical needs. I would recommend this practice to anyone

I have been going here for the last few years & will never switch. When needed, they get me in same day and typically I sit down for not even two minutes and the call me back. Ive never felt like they just write you a prescription to get you out of the office and onto the next like some - they definitely care and try to help work through whatever is needed.

I visited this practice to establish myself as a new patient. After the first visit I was unable to get a response from their office staff to setup an appointment for blood work so the physician could continue to support maintenance medications that I am on. I tried to make appointments with them for over a month but as my prescriptions began to run empty I force to seek out a new primary care. I do not recommend this office.

For the most part, I love this office. My only issue was never being able to schedule an appointment until I left numerous voicemails on different lines. For some reason, the receptionist was never picking up the phone and this was on numerous occasions over a two-year span. Recently set up the online portal and so far looks like things are running smoothly.

We have been with this practice since Dr Hashey opened over 10 years ago. My husband and I and our 5 children have been well cared for by Dr Hashey, and all of his associates. From annual check ups, colds, flu, and everything kid, adolescent, and aging adults related. They’ve seen and treated it all. Very blessed to have them care for us!

I worked directly with Dr. Hashey and his work family for almost 3 years. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Hashey and all the other wonderful women who work with him. Very short wait times, quick call turn around time, open late on Mondays and very accommodating to those who need to come in after work hours, great customer service and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking to feel at home with their family medicine office. ☺️ Call and ask for the darling front desk associate Alex to schedule an appointment now!

Should be renamed First Coast Family of Dingbats with Attitudes. After dealing with them, it solidifies that I wouldnt trust my dog in their hands. (In reply to First Coasts reply to me to save their behind: Thank you for trying to minimize my opinion with a vague and dismissive response. Perhaps exercise respect so you dont have to go to such lengths to hide experiences. Its nice that you pat yourself on the back, however, the publics opinion is the one that counts. People can decipher real from fake reviews and if they cannot, they will figure it out rather quickly when dealing with you for themselves. In the end, you cant disguise a bad act.)

Bad communication with front desk staff - lies, excuses and bad attitudes are what you receive when you call or go to the office to find out why your pharmacy hasnt received refill prescriptions. Forced to threaten legal action to obtain medical records. Surgery cancelled by Dr. Hashey on a technicality because I can (his words, not mine), for something he approved over 6 months ago and was not involved with otherwise. Sadly, this cancellation was solely due to my request for medical records. I thank him for his service to our country, but not his track record as a doctor.

I called to set up an appointment for a family member that recently moved to Jax, and has some developmental delays. I was told that my family member would have to go to another service, and was given the number to a facility in Michigan that does in-home visits. Thats not what was needed, nor covered by insurance. So I called again, and explained that situation that my family member didnt need in-home visits, but could come into their clinic, especially when the PCP listed is at their clinic. The receptionist put me on hold, and came back and said heres the number youll need to call, and hung up. The number? The same facility in Michigan that I just finished explaining was a mixup. Start to finish incompetency that left a sour taste.

So I schedule an appointment for a physical because Im allowed an annual physical each year under my insurance and its been a few years.Go, talk tot he doctor get checked out etc. Doctor asks me about any issues, we discuss some possible sleep apnea and get a recommendation to go talk to a sleep specialist.Get a bill for the remainder of my balance because theyre billing it as a Out patient visit because I mentioned other issues to the doctor. What a scam - if I call and ask to make a physical then thats what it is.

We love seeing Dr. Hashey. However, his billing dept and front office is next to impossible to deal with. Too many billing mistakes and its making me very upset I have to waste my time to deal with Quest Diags. We paid the office directly and they still are threatning collection. I went to office and was told they would take care of the billing issue. Apparently never did happen since I am getting harassed now. Time to find another doctors office.

I have received bill for my past visits. There was a number for Billing inquiries. Called couple of times and left voice message. No call back received.I have gone ahead and made the payment via my Instamed in first week of Sep. Again I have received another statement saying my account is past due and sending for collections. Not sure whom to blame.is it Billing Dept for not checking the voice mails and incoming payments?Front desk, who never call back for billing questions.or Self..for not visiting the primary care facility for making the payment.Such a stupid process....I have been with this care for more than a year and due to doctors changes....planning to look for another facility. New PAs dont know what do to for any complaint..they have to refer to someone else (higher position doctor) and get call back in next 1-3 days.

Front office staff are unorganized and unprofessional. They failed to tell me I had to come early to fill out paperwork, and then deny me of an appointment when I am sick. It doesn’t take 30 mins to fill out paperwork, I would have been done before I even was seen by the doctor. But now she tells me I have to reschedule. No thanks. Seemed nice at first, a few years ago. Suddenly Dr Maccario departed, and since then it feels more like a churn em and burn em business, loading you up with appointments and not filling your scripts unless you attend all the appointments (in my case 4 appt in the last 12 months, with no ongoing or acute situations either).Worst of all, they dont return your voicemail, they dont reply to your email, they dont even acknowledge faxs sent by the pharmacy several times !!Healthcare professional becomes healthcare un-professional. At the end of the day, they get paid by the patient and are there to serve the patient - NOT the other way around. Good luck.
