Last week I visited here because I was having a breakout. Many other places turned me away and weren’t even half as busy as this place. I was embarrassed to even waste anyone’s time with such a mild issue. I’m so glad I came here. Each employee was helpful and kind, which is truly rare. My nurse Ashlea was so friendly and personable. The practitioner took time to give me the care I needed, and my breakout cleared. The ladies at the front desk got me in and out so efficiently. This staff is truly special, and deserve the highest praise!

We got covid tested here as a group of 6 people so that we could fly internationally to go on a mission trip with church. Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure that we could all get exactly what we needed to fly. She checked the immigration requirements for Honduras, and got us all processed quickly. We easily went through the airport today with the paperwork she gave us. Very thankful for her and all of the staff!!

Had to be redirected here from another Urgent Care 11 minutes away who refused to assist in the flushing of mud out of our daughters eye. Not only did they help us, they took us in immediately to help in a crisis situation. The nurses were fantastic with our daughter and promptly fixed the issue, alleviating her eye pain and ensuring there was no damage.

Very long wait, it took two hours to be tested for cold symptoms. However the staff was extremely polite and friendly. Making up in what they lack.

Absolutely the worst. Called to make an appointment and was told it’s walk in only. Walked in the following day at 9:50am. Wasn’t seen until 1:30pm. And that wasn’t until I decided waiting in my car as instructed for almost 4 hours wasn’t going to fly and walked in asking exactly what was taking so long. The young lady who preformed my tests was efficient, polite, and professional.

Went to med first 09/22/21 to have my teen son seen . When I went to the window there were 2 ladies sitting there. 1 with her back facing me on the phone clearly talking to patients (she got up and went in other room when done). The other women Im assuming the receptionist . Was sitting there on her cell phone . There was no greetings, no Ill be with you in a min. , no how can I help you . Instead I stood at the window for over 15min with not a word (glass open) with her talking on her cell phone to Im assuming a mechanic about the transmission in her car . She was clearly unhappy . I assume she forgot she was at work . I would think if you have personal things to take care of excuse yourself from the public eye or at least great us and apologize. I understand we all have things going on in life . And obviously I do to that is why I was there . I walked out (she still said nothing ) and went to Starr medical where I was at least greeted. I will never return to Med First because of the horrible customer service !

Ive had several covid tests done here and I brought my child here during illness when she was little. I just had a test and while the waiting was exhausting (cause I was sick) I was treated with such love and care the wait was worth it! each time Ive been tested they are very diligent about calling me with my results. The staff is doing an amazing job during this stressful time. You all deserve a medal. Thanks for the service, dedication, and sacrifice you are giving your community!

They were absolutely amazing. Very respectful and personable! Front desk was so friendly and Nice. I even had a altercation with the pharmacy, they didn’t want to fill my prescription, I made my way back to the Urgent Care and the DR called the order in himself and made sure it was to be filled when I got there! 10/10 Amazing people!

Really nice visit. Was in pretty bad condition when I got there. I came out with some pretty good advice that could put me back at 100%

Completely unprofessional. They didnt draw enough blood for a pre employment titer test. Waited a week to finally admit their mistake to my travel nurse agency. I was called by my agency and told to come back to the clinic for a redraw. I have now waited 2 1/2 hours trying to get one tube of blood drawn. Finally left in disgust and am starting the process over with a more competent company. Wouldnt send my worst enemy here.

My husband and I went feeling sick. Everyone that saw us was very professional and nice. Thank you so much to the team that helped us. I would highly recommend Med First!

Went for rapid COVID test and was serviced and out in about one and half hours (including consult and test results). Very nice, professional and knowledgeable staff!

I was in town visiting my son and his family and I needed a COVID test done before going back home. The staff was friendly and professional. If I’m in town again need to be seen I would definitely use Med First and I would highly recommend Med First Urgent Care.

I agree with most others on here. One star at best. Waited over 3 hrs to be seen and then simply told to go to the ER. Waste of time.

My appointment was at noon for a routine physical I checked in at 1130 was told to wait in my car and didn’t get called until 1:25, the audio gram machine was broken and when waiting for the provider it took 40min. My only complaint is the out of control wait times, this is why we have appointments.

Booked an appointment online because the phone system said please go online to book an appointment for COVID testing. Came in at the appointment time and was told they do not take appointments. Arrived the next day at 0745am as I was told to by the person at the front desk. I left the parking lot at 130 pm, all I needed was a rapid COVID test for work.

No one LIKES to go to urgent care, let alone with your 6 year old when you’re both sick. If you have to go you can only hope and dream that the wait isn’t terrible and the staff is kind (or bearable) and the facility is clean. Today my daughter and I were seen and it was just amazing. Our day could have gone so many ways but thanks to the staff it was all around wonderful. The front staff (I did not catch her name) was experienced and kind, the new-to-the office nurse (Colleen) was over the top kind, knowledgeable and empathetic and the PA who helped us gave us the information we needed and sent us on our way. No one wants to be at an urgent care anytime let alone a holiday weekend. But these providers did not act like they were resentful or unhappy to be providing care. If you have the choice of where yo go for your healthcare needs, I suggest here.

Update from my last review. I ended up having to pee so bad I emptied my bladder and walked out. There were 2 other people there that were drinking more water so they had enough pee to fill a cup. I called my job and told them I left and they sent me to a place literally right next door that does drug testing and they took me right away and I was done in 10 minutes. I had to sit there fir 30 minutes only because I had to fill my bladder back up. Stay away from this urgent care. If your that bad there’s a hospital right next door.

I would not recommend this place. I understand places are busy but a 4hr wait for a Covid test that turned into 5 hours because they said they couldn’t find me outside. Yet I was in the same place the whole and y’all had my number and NEVER CARED to call. Regardless you shouldn’t have to sit in the damn parking lot for 4-5hours. Should have said go home and come back between a certain time frame. Might as well wasted my time at Onslow Memorial Hospital

The staff is usualy great which is why I gave a 2 BUT good luck getting any location on the phone. I spent 30 mins this morning calling and recalling trying to be seen. Still no answer.

Took my son this evening to this location. The young lady at the desk was so nice and courteous to us. Shawn the MA was amazing and worked as quickly as he could since they were busy. I hardly ever post reviews but I felt I needed to because of how awesome they all were. I know they are swamped all the time due to covid but they really all were very nice and worked as hard and quickly as they could. The PA I believe her name was Jen was awesome and made my son feel super comfortable! Thank you for all your hard work!

My first two experiences at Med First Urgent Carr was decent. The wait was about 3 hours long the first and second time. Which was quite lengthy but I understood during covid times, they are very busy. I came in a 3rd time for a visit and was told the wait would also be 3 hours. However, I ended up waiting for over 7 hours total. The front desk was very rude and didn’t wait for me to finish asking my question when I went back in after waiting 5 hours to see if I’ve been overlooked. She said “You see the people that just walked out? They’ve been waiting since 8am” in a distasteful tone. It was 5pm at that time. I understand the 3 hour wait was only estimated but for it to turn into 7 hours is ridiculous. I wish they would have some kind of communication system to know how far you are along on the waitlist so we can better judge if we actually have the time and health to wait in the car for that long or if we should seek help elsewhere. In addition, when I first checked into the urgent care, they had me write my name, phone number, and reason of visit on a piece of printer paper in which all other patients names and info were on also. It felt a little unsecured as I was seeing everyone’s names and phone numbers as well as adding my own to it. Also, when I was taken back to get my test results read, I was seated in the actual room where all the the Covid supplies are and where the covid tests were being ran in the little machine. I was left unattended as well. It didn’t bother me much of where I waited but to think that they would leave these specimens unattended with patients seems unprofessional and not very confidential. I would suggest that if you need a COVID rapid test, to either go first thing in the morning and expect a 3-4 hour wait or don’t go at all as you’ll spend the entire day there stuck in your car.

Update: We were finally seen 5 hours after my daughter’s appointment time. The physician who finally saw her did not seem very competent, as when she looked in my daughter’s throat she said she didn’t see any signs of tonsillitis. Well, how could there be, when my daughter doesn’t have tonsils?! They were removed 4 years ago. Did she even notice? Did she really even look? I will NEVER go to this location again. The MedFirst in Beaulaville is wonderful. We love Kaylin Redinger. But this Jacksonville location is awful.Original review: The website says an appointment is required for Covid testing. So, I made an appointment for 10:45am. We arrived on site at 10:35am, but had to wait to check in for over 30 min. When I reached the front desk, I was told that appointments don’t matter for Covid testing and that we will just have to wait. They said the wait time would be about an hour and a half to two hours. It has now been just over 3 hours and I am still sitting in the parking lot waiting for my daughter to get tested. I tried to call and was on hold almost 10 minutes before a recording declared that my call could not be answered at this time. If I had known that testing was basically a walk in service, which is the complete opposite of what their website states, then I would not have waited until my appointment time to arrive. I would have been here when they opened. Although, I’d probably still be waiting.

After a miserable experience at the Emerald Isle location I drove to Jacksonville following a bicycle accident to get treatment for gouged left calf. I did have to wait in my car for 90 minutes before getting called to the exam room and another 90 minutes in the exam room. It was a busy Saturday and apparently an emergency case was ahead of me.Once Amanda, NP came in it was a fabulous. She was very friendly and professional, gave me my 5 stitches and sent me on my way.

Went in for knife injury to my index finger. Was seen in about 15 minutes. An assessment was done quickly. I was put in a treatment room, bandaged and out the door in about 30 minutes. The attending Doctor or PA and Nurses were very nice and professional.

Took my 19 month old granddaughter. Had to put a mask on her, which is ridiculous. Then they were going to do a virtual appointment for her. How can you even begin to diagnose a toddler without checking her ears, throat, temperature, ........crazy. My family will NOT be returning!

Wife and I Needed a quick answer Covid test. Drove up, filled out a quick form on our phones, got in about 15 min later. Quick, painless swab. Got results about 45 min later. Highly recommend!

Will admit visits to the urgent care aren’t always fun but they have some of the best staff that keep you comfortable during some weird times. I’ve never experienced such great treatment by staff before. I’ve had the same medical assistant the last few visits, she never fails to make me comfortable and help make a patient smile during the visits! Thank you Destiny!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Irene and Sam both of them treated us with a smile. It was very comforting to have the front desk greet us so happily. Dr Haga was so knowledgeable, attentive and answered all our concerns. He was pleasant and professional.After 69 years I finally found a great doctors office.

The past two years I have utilized Medfirst for all work related injuries and testing, for our job sites. Medfirst has been instrumental in keeping out workforce safe and healthy. Additionally, Medfirst conducted COVID rapid tests for our employees. The staff and providers are always professional and thorough, in patient care. So had to visit this place for a pre-employment purposes. They did very little to eliminate the possible transfer of coronavirus. Not one bottle of hand sanitizer for the people waiting in the waiting room. No mask available for individuals that may not have the time own. The pens were not being wiped down after use. Even the waiting room was crowded for about 30 minutes, eventually the person behind the counter said something to people waiting that were not here to be seen. The talking and other conversation amongst staff can be heard by everyone in the waiting room. Which in must medical settings is a big no no.The fact that a medical facility isnt taking any processions during this pandemic is concerning. I work in the hospital setting and I was disappointed by the leak of effect.Healthcare providers and facilities are working hard and taking extra processions to contain the spread of this, I suggest you guy take a look at what other places are doing and reevaluate your procedures in the near future.

I had to give this place one star only to comment truth of the matter its not worth 1 star. I went there this past Sunday July 11th to get a cdl physical. Paid my money and begun the exam. The nurse assistant or whoever she was said my blood pressure was a little high I asked her what is was and she said 145/86 so a few minutes later the head nurse came in and checked it and it was 150/100 or something like that so they had me wait checked it again still high had we wait again checked it again still high. Then they tell me to go home and come back at 4pm . So I go home and check it with my blood pressure monitor 133/78. Smh I go back at 4pm they check it 150/100 I said if my blood pressure that high I should be feeling bad or close to a stroke. So they denied me my cdl certificate. So Monday morning I google cdl physical and made a appointment with another place. Now I have been monitoring my blood pressure since I left them on Sunday and couldnt come close to there numbers. So today my appointment with another place was at 7pm and what do you know. I have my cdl certificate and I brung my blood pressure monitor in with me let her check it with hers she told me the number then we checked it with mines and numbers were close to identical. I hope the nurse needed my 118.00 bad enough because 85.00 dollars later I have my medical examiners certificate. I will never go back to this place and I suggest anyone else stay away!!!!

Went here this evening for a possible broken toe and my nail was lifted from the nail bed. Waited in the patient room for an hour. Pain scale was a 7. The PA talked to me for 3 min. Thats it. Told me to take Tylenol and soak my foot bc their xray machine was down. Complete waste of time. Worst care Ive ever recieved. Oh and my toe is still bleeding. Should of gone to base.

Worst place ever. My husband might have broken his ankle and we thought it would be quick to have him seen here but they denied us care. We told them the referral got approved and if they needed confirmation that they can call the nurse line and we had a direct number and they said no and turned us away. Never going here again. With the the hassle and 2 hr wait we were better of going to base.

The front desk staff at this establishment are some of the rudest in the medical field that I’ve ever encountered. I’ve also overheard their “nurses” talking badly about myself and other patients in the hallways, while the room doors are open. The wait is entirely too long and there is zero bedside manner. The whole staff should be replaced!

Very quick & easy check in process. Friendly and efficient staff. PA heard and addressed concerns, I felt completely confident in his explanation.

My son hurt his wrist (not broken but was afraid of fracture or sprain.) The ladies there were so helpful, patient and friendly. Did x-rays, treated cut and wrapped the wrist. Practically no wait time and the staff was friendly and accommodating! Thank you to the staff for being so awesome for my boy!

100% total waste of time. Do not go here. I waited around for 2 hours and 10 minutes before I left and went to the ER. You stand in line to speak with the receptionist who barely communicates with you. She entered information from my out of state drivers license without asking of it was correct (big surprise it wasnt). Then they text you a link to fill in everything online (it is for scheduling appointments online, not for walk ins) and tell you to go sit in your car. This link wouldnt let me in because it has to verify your zip code and the first woman did not ask if it was correct. I had to go back in and have a different employee fix this issue. After fixing all of that I waited in my car for over 2 hours before I told them to take my name off the list and went to the ER.

I understand it a walk in only . I arrived at 8am and didn’t leave until 245 pm just for one rapid test waiting with a 5 year old was insane . I will not attend Jacksonville nc location again . 2 hour to wait in line just to be check in the had to wait the remain time in my car in 100 degree weather was insane wasn’t happy at all under staffed or not this is insane

Please don’t come with an actual emergency. Front desk is EXTREMELY slow, takes a minimum of 15 minutes to check in the most simple of patients. They use COVID as an excuse to just send every call to voicemail so don’t expect them to answer. I pity the person who comes here seeking aid for anything remotely time sensitive.

My realitve went here after being hurt badly at work. This company wrapped his wounds and then learned that the company he works for office was closed and they couldnt confirm payment.So they told him to leave.I just got off the phone with him and told him the truth of the world.... If your poor...or have no insurance...you deal with it yourself...or die.The medical profession in america wants money first. Ive witnessed many people in my life that died because they were poor.Money is more important to the medical field then your life...remember that!If you believe Im lieing think of this sinerio... A guy that makes 30 thousand a year goes to the hospital....then a guy with millions goes to a hospital.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful during my appointment to have a laceration sutured. I was not rushed through even though it was close to closing time for them. Greatly appreciated their help.

I wanted to set up a PCR NATT test for travel. The site wanted me to set up an account and choose a doctor. All I want is a test for travel and to know how much the test would cost. When I got to the end of the site taking my a information all I received was a reply please try later.

Waited 45 minutes in the sun only to find out that they charge $185 for a COVID test if you don’t have insurance.

I went to this location to get tested for Covid-19. The receptionists here are very polite and very helpful too. I was taken back to get tested very quickly. The nurse that tested me was so kind and caring. She explained the test and results in great detail. I got my negative results within hours by a video phone call. I highly recommend going here they truly care about their patients.

I arrived at 2:10. My face was very swollen, my tooth was fractured in half. I told the lady at the desk the longer Im upright, the more it hurts. She told me it was only a 30 minute wait and sent me out to my vehicle. There were two people in the waiting room before me. I sat in my vehicle for an hour. I went back in and asked how much longer. The lady got an attitude with me and said there is only two MAs in and one of them was doing only Covid tests. I told her that my dentist had called and gave instructions on what meds were needed. The lady at the desk looked at me and said, we dont give any pain medication! I showed her the information from the dentist that said, ammox 875 and 14 day dose pk and said Im not here for your pain drugs thank you! She went back to talk to the dr she came back and said the dr still wanted to evaluate me herself.I went back to my vehicle. I waited two more hours. I went back in and she got mad again saying well people before you needed xrays. Yes, one guy came in for xrays but, that doesnt account for the three other people that came a good time AFTER I did and got treated and released BEFORE I did. By this time I was balling! I couldnt even keep my head upright from the pain.I was FINALLY called back at 5:20. The dr came in prescribed exactly what the dentist called for looked in my ear and throat and sent me on my way. Not even a 5 minute visit for a three hour wait!

The people at the front desk are always SO friendly but the doctors in this place are the worst. Anytime I’ve been here it’s always a long wait time and the doctors are so impersonal and just want to get you in and out quick. I recently came back for a rapid covid test and waited for FIVE HOURS for my results and ended up going home because the sun had gone down and we were tired of waiting. They assured me they would call with my results before they closed that night. I didn’t hear anything from them and my results were never posted on the portal. I had to call them the next day to get results.

My elderly Mother and I needed to get a COVID-19 test and though they seemed short handed they went way out of the way to help us. Thank you First Urgent.

I was on vacation and was sunburned very bad on my feet. They took care of me in a timely manner.

I got there at 8:45am and didn’t leave until 220.My daughter who is 5 years old was coughing and sneezing and needed to get tested before she could go back to school. I called before I left and I was told get there as fast as I could (which I did). After I got her signed I was told that I could wait in the car and someone would text me when they were ready. Once 1010 rolled around I came in to clarify that I did the paperwork right b/c I hadn’t received anything. The lady behind the desk said that there is a lot of people at one nurse practitioner and they are doing the best they can. About 10 minutes late they called my daughter in to get her test done. I was told that it would be about a hour and that I could wait in the car and someone would text or call me when it was ready. At 1215 I got a call saying that I could go home and they would call me with the results. I told them that I needed the proof that she was negative and a doctors note that she was going to return to school. The lady on the phone said that it would be a little while. I asked if I could run and get her lunch and I would be right back and the lady on the phone that would be fine and just come on when we got back. About 30 minutes later I got a call saying that she was negative. I said ok I need proof and she still needs to be seem b/c of her coughing and sneezing. Once I got back I wait 20 minutes for a room and then a hour once we got into the room. Once the nurse practitioner came in I asked if there was any where on The paper that showed what time I checked in this morning. The nurse practitioner looked at me and said “ I am fully aware of how long you have been waiting. I checked and 48 people by 1040 this morning I am all by myself I am doing the best that I can. If you would like the number to corporate I will be glad to help you with that”After she checked my daughter over she wrote something on a piece of paper and handed it to me and said that they would give me my test results at the front desk. She never said anything about allergies she never recommended any kind of medicine nothing I was very upset when I left the office. If I could give you guys negative stars I would that is the most unprofessional and unacceptable treatment that I have ever received at any urgent care ever.

After checking in at the office, I was messaged a link to fill out paperwork as I sat in my car; then I was given a call to come in for my appointment. Everyone friendly, all my concerns addressed in timely manner. Definitely would go here again!

Super terrible..... I had an apt at 530 and didnt even get called back til almost 630, then I had to sit in the room and wait on the provider for another 30 minutes.... their customer service skills is terrible.. idk what they are doing in the back but there is no reason you should be waiting an hr for an appointment that was scheduled ahead of time.

I was in yesterday morning, waited over two hours to be seen. then had the flu and strep went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription and they didn’t have anything for me. i’ve tried calling now over 5 times i get voicemails, hung up on, and transferred to more voicemails. i’ve been told three times they were sending my prescription and still have nothing. and now they aren’t returning my phone calls at all.

Came in for an appointment at 11:00am and was immediately told that they wouldnt uphold the appointment time. Since this was a medical assessment which drug tests, I had to wait for over an hour and a half in which I had to pee extremely bad. They made no attempt to help out. I also couldnt wait in my vehicle because of the drug test which exposed me to all the patients coming in for Covid-19 testing. This place is poorly ran without any care for the patient.

They got me in quickly. The staff was knowledgeable and efficient.

I went to med first for the first time 5 weeks ago, went again today. First trip I dont know her name, but know her wrist tattoo, she was awesome and so was the rest of the staff. Today I was a walk in, but was in and out within an hour... The staff was wonderful and very professional. Thank you ladies, and if there is a guy there didnt see him, lol. Yall will have return visits from this old retired Marine..

As I waited in a room to be seen I heard them talking about other patients, a mother who was concerned at how fast her daughters results were given, as a parent myself I can understand wanting thorough treatment, and these nurses were saying they hoped the mom stubbed her toe. They are so unprofessional. It’s not “urgent CARE” it’s trashy behavior!

Super long wait & very disorganized. Front desk was friendly but the Dr kept saying she needed to hurry up with us because she was so busy & had sick people to attend to, as if we werent sick. They called me a few days later to give me my lab results. I asked which results since I didnt get any lab tests & after verifying my name & birthday she said, oh, your chlamydia & gonorrhea tests!!! I never had either of those tests. smh. I asked that she please remove that from my medical record as she obviously had someone elses info on my record! I couldnt even believe it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would have given 5 stars but the wait was a little long, not bad but that’s usually how it is at walk-in situations with no appointment.

Under the Care Act people aren’t supposed to pay for COVID tests. This company demands payment up front….beware. I’ll be contacting the corporate office as well.

I set an appointment, but the appointments are useless. They do not honor the time nor set appointment and just keep taking walk ins. Currently waiting on a four-hour waitlist despite being on time, and early, for my appointment.

The office staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. HIPPA violations like crazy. It was disappointing to see patients come and go when I was only there for a drug screen. It was also unsettling to hear the staff communicating patients medical information. Tiffany let EVERYONE in the building know a patients temp and diagnosis...because the other girl asked what it was so she could go ahead and put in for her. We also know the location of what pharmacy she can pick up her script. This was a very unpleasant experience and a extremely concerning. I do hope this problem is addressed and corrected asap.

Six hours to get a physical wow..it was a long wait they dont seem to be organized very disappointed

Terrible experience at this place! My calls were never answered or returned despite many efforts on my end. When I did get a hold of someone, they put me on hold for over 10 minutes, then answered me with another patients information-- then after realizing the mistake, was verbally very rude to me asking me to stop calling. Forgive me if I dont trust you to call me with my test results if you cant even return a phone call left over 24 hours ago. I just cannot believe how rudely I was treated. I will never go here or recommend this clinic.

Shawn and Kristina, who are the intake ambassadors at the front desk, are AMAZING!!! Having to come for a COVID test is not a fun thing to do for anyone, but they were so warm and friendly that it felt like I was visiting friends rather than a medical office. I am so happyvrhat I chose to come here, and people like them will keep me coming back!

I was able to sign in and then wait in my car until called to get the rapid response test in about 20 minutes. then they called me with my negative result in another 20 minutes. pretty easy.

I showed up at the Urgent Care for a Drug Urinalysis Test for pre employment. I wasn’t allowed to leave as I waited an hour to be seen. Patients continued to enter requesting a Covid rapid test. They lingered in the waiting room, waiting to be checked in before returning to their cars. I asked to wait in my car to not surround myself by positive covid patients. I was told if I left the building I would be an automatic failure. Destiny, the front desk attendant did not attempt to clean any of the doors or surfaces touched by the covid patients.

Came in for a rapid Covid test and was told to check in on my mobile device. Kept getting error messages and the staff acted lost and finally after an hour of waiting offered me paperwork to fill out. What a joke.

Sitting there for over an hour and they are standing there laughing and not working. All of them just crowded in the hall. Not professional whatsoever they are yelling and laughing. While there are patients sitting out in the lobby. Not impressed whatsoever.

Zero stars is more accurate. That says it all.

Edit: this is for the med first on Richlands HighwayI can not say enough great things about this place!! My doctor is amazing and the staff is great. Every time I visit I feel as if I’m with friends! Dr. Robertson has listened to everything I have said and does everything to make me feel better. It is very rare to find a doctor who actually care and I’m beyond glad I found her!

This place is horrible. The staff is rude and useless. They refused to see my 14yo son who has a broken finger because his primary medical provider was also an urgent care. His primary medical provider couldnt understand why Med First refused to treat him, especially since his primary medical provider doesnt have an xray machine.

I came in with major pain in my right wrist. I was seen by holly Elder she did a wonderful job taking care of me and doing my x-rays. She is an amazing medical assistant and does an amazing job at her job!! The office had me in and out in no time and was very clean.

I came in looking to get an x-ray on a twisted ankle. I don’t generally expect much from urgent care, so I was surprised and delighted with the stellar care I received!I was in a fair amount of pain, so good communication that I could easily understand was extra important to me; Chicara at front desk explained the clinic’s operating procedure to me patiently and clearly.After about a half-hour wait in the car, I was called back in and handed off to the radiology tech, Shawn. Shawn in particular went above and beyond what I expected. Because of the covid-19 crisis I often feel nervous at doctor’s visits, but Shawn made me feel safe and cared for—just what I needed! He was personable, but he knew when to redirect conversation to the medical issue at hand when necessary—such an important skill for a healthcare worker!After a series of intake questions, he took me to the x-ray lab and quickly and painlessly x-rayed my ankle. After a short wait, I spoke with nurse practitioner Jen, who addressed me with good humor and who patiently listened when I explained my injury.I would have understood if I had had a quick, impersonal experience; urgent care is fast-paced, stressful work, especially during the pandemic. So I feel very lucky to have had such a terrific team helping me out. Take care, Med-First team, and thanks for everything!

All the employees were amazingly nice. Wouldnt want to go to any other location.

I’ve never had such a terrible experience in my LIFE going to a walk in clinic. I was completely DISMISSED by them. They wouldn’t even SEE me or give me a antibiotic for my swollen eye. Telling me “there is nothing we can do” are you serious?? This is a DOCTORS office?? They didn’t even LOOK at my eye. This white blonde lady shrugged her shoulders at me. I’ve never been so mortified. This is how a doctors office is run? Don’t go here, they don’t care about their patients at all. I went to another clinic and got antibiotic that I NEEDED. Whoever runs this place needs to reevaluate some things. Based on these reviews a lot of bs happens OFTEN.

Everyone is so nice even though they are working long hours and taking a risk every day when they walk into work to take care of their patients. I have had to go several times this year. I have found that if you arrive prior to them opening. Get there by 7:15-7:30 that way you are the one of the first patients to get seen. Once they open you just go in and give them your name and what you are there for then they make sure they have a good phone number for you and send you back to sit in ur vehicle. They then send you a link to answer questions and verify your insurance information etc. when it is your turn to be seen they will call your cell phone and tell you to go to the side door and then you walk and sit down and see the Dr. if you have to get the Covid test, they call you in a timely manner to let you know the results. And they don’t rush you off the phone if you have questions they take the time to answer them thoroughly even though they may still have 37 people lined up outside to be seen. I was very impressed with all of my visits to Medfirst. And appreciate all they do! Sincerely, Jodie Florian

This is the worst urgent care to be in. There is no room to sit. The receptionist is terrible and can not do her job. The place is under staffed. Ive been here for 3 hours and the line is not moving.

This is the most useless office. I made an appointment for 11/26 @ 2:00PM and showed up and their office closed at 1:00PM. I called and left a message to reschedule and have gotten no response. I have called back TEN times since then and gotten no response. Please find somewhere else if youre able. They clearly do not care about their patients health.

Got my sick teen in within the hour for a rapid covid swab, and offered flu and strep as well. Quick results and everyone from the woman who answered the phone to the MA and NP were professional, efficient, and very kind.

Very pleased. Pleasant team doing their best at times of high demand. I wish them the best during these trying times.

Took three hours for a drug screen. Very poor customer service. Drag their feet because they know you cant leave.People ready to pee all over the floor. Dont go there..

Front desk lady asked me what I was in for. Never offered paperwork or anything. With a waiting room full of other people I told her I needed a test done. And she rudely asked me what kind of test. I had to ask if her she was going to make me yell it through the window. And then she proceeded to ask me to go through the door to explain what kind of test. VERY unprofessional with a severe lack of privacy. Only giving a 2 star because last week when I had to go in the first time, the nurse was very kind and professional.

If you cant get cone in to sign in, you should have a sign posted stating so. Lady at the desk was rude.

Very efficient and the receptionist was super polite and friendly. Attending nursing staff were courteous. A little rough with taking of specimen.

This place is horrible. I’m currently sitting in a room waiting for my dot cert. it’s been almost an hour since my actual exam was completed and when I went to ask someone if they had forgot about me she was very rude and told me to keep waiting. 5 minutes later magically someone just came... hmm looks like they did forget about me. Very unprofessional.

Had to bring my son in for covid testing. All of the staff was wonderful except for one woman. My son didn’t feel well and we had been there for a few hours so he was exhausted. After covid, strep, and flu test he was obviously very distraught and had been sobbing. When we were leaving out the door this woman yelled at me to put my sons mask on because it was a “covid room.” His mask WAS on, it had just barely slipped under his nose. He just turned 3 and doesn’t understand. He’s clearly upset. Why be so rude and upset him more? I think this particular nurse could work on her “bedside manner” and not yell at patients in front of other patients especially when a child is involved. But again, the rest of the staff was very sweet, professional, and tried to make the visit as comfortable as possible for my child.
