Holly at the Southside location was great. I have a herniated disk in my neck and doing everything and anything before I ponder surgery. She listened to me and heard what type of issues I was experiencing. And she focused on those points which I was concerned about. She took her time on the hurting areas and gave me advice on a treatment plan that didnt involve meds or surgery.For a first time ME customer, ill definitely be coming back.

The massage was decent for the price. But I found the masseuse completely unhappy about the fact I was paying him for a massage. The front desk personnel were entirely cold, and I definitely will be going somewhere else that has professionals at the desk and courteous masseuses at the table. Do not go there if you’re a man looking for a firm massage when you have a labor intensive job and you’re looking for a way to relieve those pains that come with it.

This is one of the best Massage Envy that Ive been to. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. You get excellent levels of massages here and facials. Very professional and clean establishment

With the new rules for transferring massages this company sucks now. The customer service is horrible. Good luck on scheduling a massage that isnt 3 months away. Multiple times I scheduled massages only to have them canceled. Id imagine this company wont be around much longer.

The massage I got here was not relaxing at all. The lady talked the entire time about herself, and I am incredibly sore. She did not focus on the parts I told her were bothering me (and when she asked I felt like she didn’t listen) and today my neck is very sore. Also, while I paid for 60 mins, I definitely did not receive a 60 minute massage. I was really looking forward to this but it was very lackluster. I will not be coming back to this location.

I very much enjoyed my massage here. Brenda really paid attention to the areas I pointed out having trouble with. Even three weeks later the knots in my shoulders that were bothering me for months havent come back yet!

Definitely a hit or miss here. I recommend trying different massage therapists to see which one works best for you.The first time I went I had the BEST massage ever! She was awesome. I went back asking for the same girl and she no longer worked there so I was set up with someone else they recommended. I had the WORST massage of my life.It was truly terrible. The massage therapist was smacking gum near my ear the whole time and very unprofessional. She started slurping a big slushee drink too halfway in and literally did not touch my back till about 25 minutes in. I was laying face down waiting while she chewed her gum and kept rubbing her hands together with oil that I was dying to finally be on my back for the massage. She then went on to tell me about this gun looking device that has a ball on the end and repeatedly hits your back to loosen muscles. I told her a migraine was coming on and I couldn’t handle something repeatedly hitting my back vs a soothing hand massage. She still kept talking about it saying how she’d rather use that. I was SO FRUSTRATED and done by that point. I finally firmly said no I really just can’t handle that device right now can we please do the regular massage and I could tell she was not happy. ALL I wanted was a massage, a nice soothing massage to help my migraine that was coming on. All in all through the full hour she spent about 15 minutes rubbing my back up and down with the sides of her arms. I feel cheated out of the relaxing massage I paid for. I only went back because I have a membership but plan on canceling because of that experience.

Very polite service, safety was observed, and my aches were recognized and addressed beyond expectations. 5 stars the whole way through

Ive been working with Paul for almost 2 years. Its hard to find a therapist who truly does deep tissue right and he absolutely does. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional.

All ME are hit or miss. Had a massage/ doctor appointment with Brenda who is a medical massage theropist as she will tell you among other things. In 50min i saw a podiatrist, a chiropractor, a dermotogist, and i think a massage was mixed in. I think the 90 min includes a pharmaceutical consult. If you are looking to be lectured and diagnosed or if you dont know something brenda will tell you because she knows it all! If you just came for a massage there are like 20,000 other options avaialble to you, try one of those.

Wouldn’t recommend this place. My girlfriend had a terrible experience & they didn’t wanna do anything about it.

I was happily looking forward to a 90 minute massage at 230. I called earlier in the week from New York State to book this appointment. When I arrived I was told I did not have an appointment! I certainly hope that this is not a common occurrence for this business. I would not recommend this business based on my first and only visit there.

After being a loyal client to Massage Envy Southside location for almost over 3 years, my lady and I had to close our membership accounts due to life changes and other high priorities, however we didnt want to leave without saying few excellent words. We have been with the Southside location as it went through its business evolution and growing pains with few mishaps that we had to dealt. They stepped it up and helped to smooth the process and kept it consistent session after session including the hours that we have caught up.Those of you who may be frustrated, you simply need to reach out to the franchise owner/manager(s), and they WILL diligently do their best to resolve your issue(s).We had a great overall experience with Massage Envy and the Southside location. Their staff has been courteous, friendly, and proficient. If our massage needs ever arisen in the future, we will be back at this location. It was an emotional goodbye with the entire staff of Southside location with their gratitude and an adorable and thoughtful thank you card from the entire staff. If any business that really want to learn about customer service, they need to take notes from these guys.

Massage Envy is a chain with locations scattered throughout the city. They are very professional and the atmosphere is comfortable. Memberships are available if you plan to return on a regular basis. They have begun doing stretches that are amazing. Be sure to tell them what your specific concerns are and they will work on those areas.

Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. The therapists here always do an excellent job. Theyre great at communicating what their plan is with you and ask the right questions to give you the best experience every time.

Massage was nice, the manager was very rude and made me feel very unwanted.I usually get a 3 month membership at a time , manager didnt want to credit this massage out of the membership.I always do this deal when Im in Miami.I told her that I wanted to start a membership here since I moved here.she had so much attitude I would never come here again. I understand rules and promotions can be diffrent between branches but you alwys need to be polite and give your coustomer a good friendly experience

There is nothing like being greeted by a friendly face and someone who will go to great lengths to help you. The experience starts with the employees at the front and I was highly impressed by Emilys customer service. I have been going to Massage Envy for years and couldnt be more impressed by her.

I got called into work and had to cancel and got charged a fee. I really hate fees. Goes against the idea of relaxation. Makes me not want to go back. But, I will say, most everyone is pretty nice here.

Let me just state that the only reason I went to Massage Envy, was because of a gift card. I will not be coming back... not even to use the rest of it.First and foremost, my Massage was pretty great... besides the fact that the guy that massaged me didnt care to introduce himself or really even ask about my problem areas. Fine.The lady who helped with paperwork and getting everything up seemingly was nice in the beginning. However, whenever I politely declined the membership she asked me about 100 times, her whole attitude changed and she was then somewhat rude.Customer service is key to a successful business, period.I would do yourself a favor and spend a little bit of extra money to go somewhere else.

The women are better at massages than the men. If youre a member they automatically charge you card. For some reason they do it on the weekend and early in the am. My credit card always denies it and I get a call from them saying something wrong with my card. I tell them maybe if you didnt do it after hours it wouldnt would register as a suspicious charge and get denied. Staff is great there. Place is very clean.

I called for a last minute appointment due to a stiff neck, back and shoulders and literally could not move from the pain. Not only was the customer service friendly and helpful at squeezing me into their last appointment of the day, but Jason was AMAZING!!! He knew all of the right spots to work and the pressure was PERFECT!!! I bought my fiance a massage for his birthday and were going back again for Christmas. Love this place!!!

Very relaxing place and service is great. I travel alot and this is a place I always make sure is close for me to have some pamper time.

They con you into membership with a automatic renewal. When you ask to be refunded for a membership, you did not want and have no plans to use, they refuse. Plus the massage I had was .. well.. just ok. I have had much better at other resorts and establishments.

Days later I am still so disappointed in my experience here. I spent the $ I had reserved for a massage at this place and I feel like a fool for doing it. The massage I got was more painful than relaxing because the man was pressing so hard on bones and my rib cage, not on muscles. I kept protesting his pressure, and he kept saying I just really needed intense body work when really I just needed a massage from someone qualified. The type of pain I have can usually be relieved by a basic one hour massage. I only get them a few times a year. I hate writing bad reviews but I am just upset that I have to go spend the $ again somewhere else.

This ME is always clean, with a friendly front staff and massage therapists. They are testing out a new Percussion massage tool that I highly recommend for deep tissue needs.

Yesterday I went in for a massage and the massage was wonderful! I tried to get in contact with the manager at this location because while I was making my payment , it was three girls sitting at the front desk ( one helping me , a red head girl that plays volleyball & another blonde girl )The one helping me asked “ will you be leaving a tip “ I told her no because I don’t carry cash! The girl with the red hair looked at me and wrote something on a piece of paper and turned to the other blonde girl and says “ that irks my nerves “ while the blonde is reading whatever she put on the paper. so honestly that is so unprofessional! I still will be contacting corporate because I didn’t do anything wrong to her but when I saw that I have to say something! Totally wasn’t cool. I respectfully left the business without saying something but no I definitely will be contacting you all today! Again!

When I made my appt I was not made aware of the cancellation policy or procedure. Not even on the WEBSITE does it make it known (where you should most definitely be able to access it when you make the appointment) and when I couldn’t make it to my appointment they charged me full price anyways. I understand if they only charged a fee but they charged the ENTIRE price of the session and I’m NOT happy with this. If it was made KNOWN to the public that there was a “cancellation policy” that charges you for the whole session I wouldn’t be upset at all but this is ridiculous and I just payed for a massage that I couldn’t even get because I was working. So thank you for that. I’m beyond upset.Need less to say I am very disappointed with the actions the company has taken, although the massages may prove otherwise (I wouldn’t know) I most likely will not do business here again. I hate writing a bad review but it was unprofessional to not state the BS policy before hand.

This companys cancellation policies/guidelines are sketchy at best. I tried to cancel my membership at the end of its term (1 year) because although monthly massages are wonderful, I realized I really dont make enough money to afford something like that. They somehow convinced me that my only option was to freeze it for 6 months before being able to fully cancel. Big surprise--at the end of those 6 months, they did not call, email, or notify me in any way to remind me that my account would be unfrozen. Instead, they withdrew money from my bank account without asking me whether or not I wanted to continue my membership (I didnt.) I called the day of and then went in personally to dispute it and they basically told me there was nothing they could do because the transaction with my bank was already processing (it was also a Sunday.) I fought it with my bank but Massage Envy won because theyre a huge company and Im just a single person. I hope they enjoy my hard earned $59.00 while I continue to live paycheck to paycheck.

Can never get an appointment. Accumulated 4 months of service since I cant ever get in. Cant cancel membership without a Dr.s note, and you have to personally come in to cancel. Cant give accumulated messages to wife, other than 1 per 6 months - which is nonsense, since my wife has used a few already - so the rules change whenever they decide to let you know...
