This was my first massage ever, I chose Coastal Massage and Wellness based on Google reviews and years in business and I was not disappointed. I booked a 45 minute custom massage and explained to Jessie the issue I was having and she suggested cupping and a deep tissue massage and told me if I was uncomfortable at any point to let her know. I walked out feeling a million times better than when I walked in and am very pleased with the services I received. I would recommend this business to anyone that asks me. Jessie and I had good conversation during the massage and it felt like I had known her forever. Ill definitely be back, thank you so much!

Life was giving my girlfriend was having a hard time and I called around trying to book her a last minute massages. Called Costal Massage and spoke with McKenzie who mentioned that they didn’t have any massage slots open but they did have a facial slot where they massaged the shoulders, neck, and hands. I was happy to book it for $75 and even paid $25 for extras. After her session; I asked my girlfriend how to it was and was surprised when she told me that they didn’t massage anything. The main reason why I booked it was for the massage, so you may understand my frustration. I called Costal and asked for the manager. The receptionist transferred me to the owner who apologized. Apparently Mackenzie was new and made a mistake.To make things right, the owner scheduled my girlfriend for a 30 minute massage the following Monday. My girlfriend arrived and immediately noticed the tense atmosphere towards her and was greeted by the owner Jesse, who my girlfriend described a being “fake-nice”. It’s difficult to describe, but we all know that feeling when people’s ‘kindnes’ is insincere. Upon escorting her to the room, Jesse told her that she had her booked for “20ish- 30 minutes”. During the massage, Jesse’s pressure was very forceful and never asked my girlfriend if it was okay. Naturally, my girlfriend doesn’t like confrontation so she bit her lip and endured until the end - Which was promptly ended after 20 minutes, not the 30 minutes like I was told.Overall, this was a very disappointing experience especially from a company with such great reviews, but after being lied to twice and the cold treatment towards my girlfriend, this is the first and last time booking anything with this company.

Alexis is very knowledgeable & professional. I have learned so very much from her about wearing the eyelashes she applies. Her applied eyelashes last for several weeks without any problems with proper care. I have received many compliments. I have been her client for almost a year. It is a very relaxing experience to have her apply the lashes. She has beautiful decor and soothing music. I highly recommend going to Alexis.

Jessie is an excellent massage therapist and always modifies my appointments based on specific areas of soreness/tightness. This place is Heaven sent! I work most of my day sitting in an office and my back is telling me all about my poor posture in the form of horrible pain. While searching for a massage therapist I came across this place. My interest immediately peaked when I saw that they were offering a Geek Massage which consists of upper body stretching and massage. I knew this was the place for me to relieve the upper back pain I have been dealing with. I booked the next available appointment.When I arrived I was greeted with a welcoming atmosphere, very quiet and there were no over powering aromas that I often find when getting a massage. Jessie Weinzatl, the owner and my massage therapist, was just finishing up her last appointment before mine. She welcomed me to the business and let me know she would be right with me. There are a few areas to sit and I did just that while she finished her last transaction and got my room ready, it was a really short wait. Less than 5 minutes I think.When I got into the room we discussed my level of experience with regards to having a massage and if I was at all familiar with some techniques she would be using. Then she explained how the session would progress and what she was going to work on. Jessie gave off an air of confidence of a seasoned professional with years of experience under her belt. The place looks like a spa but she made it feel like a health care facility and not in a bad way. Her demeanor gave me the feeling that she was going to find my issues and correct them.The massage was wonderful I am extremely tight in my upper back and although it was painful it was a good pain and I can honestly say I think my shoulders dropped a little. It feels like my neck got longer. After the treatment she gives you a few lacrosse balls, a resistance band, and a segment of PVC pipe. She uses these things to go over some exercises to help strengthen the weak muscles in your back as well as stretching exercises. Then she recommended I see a chiropractor.At the end of the day this is the best place I have ever been to and I may never go anywhere else again!

Coastal massage and wellness is a hidden gem in Jacksonville, NC!! I see Aubrey regularly for a sports massage and have noticed a huge change in the recovery and mobility of my shoulders and back. Everyone has been cheerful and welcoming every time I am in. I loved a donation drive they did to collect animal items to donate to a local shelter! They are a wonderful locally owned business and I admire their commitment to their clients and the community!

Aubrey was unbelievable! Best massage I have ever had. I am currently pregnant and was hurting. I was super tight all over, suffering from leg and arm cramps, back pain, neck pain, hip pain etc. I had a 90 minute with Aubrey and the next day was sore but I didn’t wake up with any arm or leg cramps and haven’t had either since my massage (massage was over a week ago.) I feel so much more flexible and pain free. I have since scheduled another massage. Go see Aubrey, she is a miracle worker.

Someone from my gym recommended Jessie Weinzatl , so I made an appointment. She addressed all of my issues and made sure I was comfortable during the entire massage. I especially loved the hot towels and the relaxing atmosphere. My massage was 45 minutes, but next time I will definitely do an hour. My entire body felt better and I was very relaxed. The tightness and pain I felt in areas of my back and shoulders were completely gone once she was done. I will continue to visit at least monthly!

My family treated me to a massage and facial for my birthday giving me the opportunity to try Coastal. This place had a very calm and relaxing environment. The staff was very friendly. I do wish the massage room was darker and the therapist was aware I was getting a facial after so I didn’t have to undress twice and could of been offered a robe to walk to the other room. A little over a year ago I hurt my back at work and was constantly in pain and had a hard time doing just everyday normal things. I walked into my first appointment in a lot of pain, but left feeling so much better. Since then I have tried to see her about every 2-3 weeks. I always leave there feeling great and like my old self again. I am able to Stand up straight and am much more active now that I’m not in so much pain. There are no words to express how grateful I am to have meet Aubrey. She is a great person and is fantastic at what she does.

I had a wonderful experience yesterday with Noelle. I had a 60 minute massage with a 30 minute Infrared Body Wrap directly after. Noelle went over the options of essential oils for the body wrap to get the perfect one to get me to relax. I decided to go with the Mediterranean one and it was perfect!! The massage was amazing and she made sure to check with me on the pressure; perfect! I was nice an relaxed by the time she was done with the massage. I’ve never had a body wrap done before and didn’t know what to expect. It added a new level of relaxation I didn’t know I was missing. Yes it was warm and I sweat...a lot. However she was prepared with a cool damp rag and a nice cold bottle of water (don’t worry, she’ll help with those since you get wrapped like a burrito). She offered a foot or scalp massage but I decided against those. She didn’t hover in the room but made sure to check on me frequently to ensure I wasn’t overheating. I will definitely be going back.

I was gifted a massage from my mother in law and went and had it done recently. It was HANDS DOWN(see what I did there?😏) the GREATEST massage Ive ever had. Alexis B. is an amazing esthetician. She is the definition of a professional! Alexis makes you feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. After having a bad experience at another local salon, I was so glad to have found Alexis at Coastal. She listened to all my concerns and previous issues prior to the treatment and explained every step of her service. I moved from a larger city where I was regularly getting Brazilians from European Wax Centers and they were cheap quick and messy which is what I needed at the time, but I had no idea what a real waxing service was like. The professional, friendly atmosphere really allows you to relax when there’s impending pain of the wax. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice quiet place with very knowledgeable staff.

Ive been using Coastal Massage and Wellness now for years. I use them myself on a regular basis and have referred my physical therapy patients here for massage. Over that time, I have used 3 different people for my services, and have loved every single one of them. My 1st girl is no longer there b/c she moved out of state, but now I see Alexis or Jessie. Either is fantastic, and I would be willing to see anyone they wanted to book me to b/c I trust them that much!

I’ve been here twice and I’ll keep coming back! I saw Aubrey recently for a massage and i haven’t felt this great in weeks. She has a lot of knowledge of muscle anatomy and physiology and really worked on some of my sore spots. I’m really looking forward to the next time I see her.

I recommend giving it a try. She mixes massage, scraping, and cupping. She and her husband also do triathlon so she understands unique problems with multisport athletes. (If I am bold enough to call myself that!) I will be making it a regular part of my triathlon training plan from now on.

Aubrey gave me an outstanding sports massage. Being active duty, I just came back from a long field exercise and my body was in pain. My shoulders felt pinched, my hips ached, and my back was killing me. Aubrey took the time to address my issues and tailor my massage to what I needed. She was personable, relaxed, and easy to to talk to. She not only massaged me, but she used cups and tools to really hone in on my muscles and joints. I left feeling completely renewed. My shoulders regained mobility, my hips and back were no longer in agony, and I could walk and move normal again. I definitely will be going back!

I have gotten a wax, massage, and scar therapy treatment from Jessie and she is truly skilled and proficient in all three. I have seen her for scar therapy mainly which has been an amazing experience. I have a surgical scar on my neck/face and under her care it has improved immensely. The difference between the first time she worked on it and now is truly shocking. The scar was very raised and uneven and it would itch to no end, whereas, now, it is almost flush with my skin and hardly itches at all. In addition to scar therapy, Jessie is also an amazing massage therapist. She did an extremely thorough job and worked out all of the tension in my shoulders which had been bothering me for some time.
