I am one of those people that do not like to go to the dentist. So this is the reason why I hadnt been for over 10 years. But because of issues with my teeth I had to go to the dentist. Its hard to choose a dentist but I think I made a great decision with beacon family dentistry. The doctor really cares about his patients and protecting their teeth.

I give Beacon Family Dentistry 5 out of 5.. the dentist hygienist told me exactly what she was going to do before she started and as she was cleaning my teeth. The service is always exceptional service they go above and beyond to make sure you comfortable and you understand exactly what theyre doing.

I originally started going to see Dr. Tapnio in the 90s, when I was an elementary school. Great People and Great Work!

First off my daughter is 7 years old and since her first dental experience at another place she has feared to go to a dentist ,and can I say Dr Tapnio made her so comfortable until she look forward to every appointment the staff is amazing as well as the Doctor he cares about his patients my entire family goes there and some friends and relatives that I have referred if you looking for a great and caring dentistBeacon Family Dentist is the place .

This is the best dentistry I’ve been to… The best hygienist my teeth have had, and Dr. Tapnio is a gifted dentist who uses the latest technology and methods. My whole health has been affected by Tapnio’s care of my teeth. The staff is also very communicative and polite.

Dr. Tapino has got to be one of the best dentists that I have ever been to. Becky did my cleaning and crays with a great chair side manner. She explained everything she was doing at put me at ease.When Dr. Tapino came in he put any uneasiness I had to rest. He advised me what needed to be done and I left feeling so much better than when I arrived!My wife had her appointment today and is extremely nervous about dentists, since we left she has not stopped praising him and everyone in the office!Dr. Tapino genuinely cares about his patients and we really got that feeling from everyone there. If you are looking for a new dentist or to upgrade from your current one, you have definitely found the right place!

Wanted my teeth cleaned so I was trying to find somewhere that could do an exam and cleaning all in one shot. I dont like to miss a lot of work. These people told me they could and they could get me in the next day. $340 out the door. So I booked, went in for the appt today. Staff was nice, waiting room was hot as ****. Get all done with my exam and the dentist prescribes a deep clean. Thats gonna be an extra $440 for the first visit and $280 for the second plus 3 more visits for fillings after that. And they cant do the first part of the cleaning today (I was assured I would get a cleaning with my visit or I wouldnt have booked with them at all). I just wanted a cleaning and now they want $260 for exam and Xrays because Im no longer interested in their smile saver program because Im not gonna get the cleaning they told me on the phone that I was going to get. Then when I said Im not paying that for the deep cleaning prices, because I was told it would be $340 including the cleaning they acted like I was poor and started recommending I look into dental schools. Man I will just go spend this 2.5k I apparently need in dental work with someone who wants to be straight about their prices and procedures and not waste my time. You guys enjoy that $260.

Your first impression is everything!!! I was a new patient and everyone from the front desk to the staff all treated me like family. The service was very professional and everything was explained to you thorough. Dr.Tapnio has the best bedside manner. He makes you love going to the dentist. Very detail and helpful. Had bottom implants put in and doctor really took time to make sure it was done correctly. Took a few visits but better than hurrying and messing up. Very patient. Really took good care of me and my smile!!

After seeing several dentist over the years it was a pleasure to go here. They were quick to get me back. The dental hygienist was fast, efficient and thorough. The dentist was also quick and to the point. Most importantly I left with no pain. Would highly recommend this dentist office to family and friends.

Lets admit it, most of us dont like going to the dentist, but when we do, its nice knowing that Dr. Tapnio and his entire staff really do want you to have a painless and pleasant experience while in their care.

This is excellent dental practice with a friendly and professional staff. I used to live on the east side of Jacksonville, but now I live in Orange Park. However, Id rather make the 60 mile round trip drive to Beacon Family Dentistry than change dentist practices. If you choose Beacon Family Dentistry as your family dentist, you wont be disappointed.

This is by far the best dentist office I have been to. You make an appointment and you are seen at that appointment time! They are friendly, professional and accommodating. My mother, daughter and I go to this office and wouldnt have it any other way. I highly recommend this gentle dentist!!

The dental hygienist, Becky, remembered me from my last cleaning 3 months ago. She asked about my scooter and my husbands job, things we had discussed the last time I was there. Dr. Tapnio is a very knowledgeable provider in his field. He performs his service with such expertise. I will provide updated feedback after my braces is done. So far everything is good just had a bad vibe with the assitant. She is not careful and hurt my gums while removing rubber from my braces.Update: 01112021Dentist assistant is now careful with the removing the rubber. Glad that they look on reviews lke this to improve their service. My braces is almost done. Hopefully everything goes well.Update: 07022021Everybody is doing well. Thank God it is almost done. They have remove my upper braces. It really looks good. It took sometime due to covid but still happy.

Dr. Tapnio takes the time to thoroughly explain the procedures and hes the most gentle dentist I have ever had. I went through four dentists in the Jacksonville area until I finally found the perfect one for me! Unfortunately three years ago I moved to South Carolina; however, I still make the trek to Dr. Tapnios office for my dental needs. He is that good. You cant go wrong!I also want to add that Karen, the dental hygienist who cleans my teeth, is also friendly, thorough and an asset to the dental staff. I look forward to seeing them next month!
