How many people can say that they leave the eye doctor in a better mood than when they come in? I sure can. The front desk workers are so personable and always make me smile. (especially Missy and Linda!) Dr. Schmidt is the nicest, most thorough and helpful doctor that I have ever seen. I would recommend for anyone to come here. 5 stars every time!

Our first impression of Dr. Levenson and the entire support staff we encountered was great and has continued to be. They are very prompt to get you checked in and seen as soon as possible. The lobby looks to have about 40 or 50 seats and normally just enough room for everyone. Its a pretty busy place but they have enough employees to handle it. There seems to be no confusion or delays and a steady stream in and out. Overall its been a success.

I am a former employee of Levenson Eye Associates and if I hadnt relocated to Maryland, Id still be there. Drs. Levenson, McDonald, Schmidt, and all the other doctors are phenomenal and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Id trust any of them with my eye care/sight. If fact, the doctors I mentioned have all examined both me and my children on several occasions and if anyone in my family that is local to Florida ever required surgery, Id send them to Levenson Eye.

Dr Levenson messed up my cataract surgery and implanted a generic lens instead of the multifocal one I requested. Now my vision in that eye is blurry and he kept telling me to wait it out. Going to have to see another opthamologist to see if my vision can be rectified.

Dr. Schmidt and his staff are tip notch. I had an issue on this holiday weekend and Dr. Schmidt made sure I was taken care of. He texted me several times a day to make sure I was getting better. I have been a patient for over 5 and refuse to go anywhere else. My son has keratoconus and I sent him to Dr. Schmidt who worked with us for many months to insure his contacts were perfect. He even called to check on him after not seeing him for a few months. If there was a rate of over 5, Levenson Eye Assoc would be 157 stars from me.

Cataract surgery yesterday with a severe cataract. I cant describe how better the world looks today. Already been in a bigbox superstore this morning, I used to dread going in there because of the lighting. I can see everything!!! I can read the menu at Chick-fil-A.20/20 vision this morning!!!!!!Two weeks and we do the right eye. Thank you Dr. Levenson and your entire staff!

My son has an eye condition and we went to Levinson for the first time last year because he was highly recommended by a family member. The visit went fine, however we found out at the time of the visit that the vision insurance that we planned on using was the kind that would require us to pay up front and then get reimbursed later. (I was in between jobs and working at a temp agency with very little coverage on my vision plan and I was unfamiliar with this particular plan I had only had a short while - my fault). Anyways, we paid out of pocket and knew we had to submit to get reimbursed for the expense. I spoke with the vision insurance that day and got all that worked out. I was going to be reimbursed about $100. I filled out the claim form and realized that the Drs office had to sign it as well as myself. I called and spoke with a very nice lady at Levinsons office and she said no problem, mail it to her and shed sign it. Easy peasy. Right? Nope. I mailed it twice and nobody ever received it apparently. I verified the address both times but nobody ever claimed to have gotten it for some reason. Hmm. I called and spoke with several people on several different occasions. After about 10 calls I found out that yes, they had gotten it both times, they just dont do that kind of thing. WHAT? I was told at the time of visit it wouldnt be a problem. I was told over the phone multiple times it wasnt a problem, it was just some kind of crazy problem with them not getting their mail. Now, after months of going back and forth the story is completely different based on who I talk to. I wasted hours of my time with phone calls, lots of frustration and postage to send this paperwork twice on top of losing the money that I was told was going to be paid back to me from my insurance. Ya know, $100 probably doesnt seem like a lot of money to these people, but it sure is enough for me to get mad over when it is as simple as putting a signature on a piece of paper. When I spoke to the first lady the first couple of times, she was so super nice and acted like it wasnt a problem at all. The last lady I spoke with I felt like she was mocking me. She even continuously referred to my son as her and she when I corrected her several times saying Maam, he is a boy and she said ok well when we seen HER... I mean, its not really a huge deal but its icing on the cake just because its so rude and she knew I was already flustered. I really felt like she was completely laughing at me during our last call.In summary, I feel like this place is completely unprofessional and why they wont just sign a simple piece of paper to verify an exam was performed so I can get my money back is beyond me. Even if its not something they do (why wouldnt it be? but thats besides the point) even if its out of the norm to sign a claim form, why not just do it since I was told they would? Why not just be kind to a patient who has jumped through hoops upon their request instead of just being completely rude to someone who is out so much money because of their mistake and their misinformation? Will never recommend and will never come back. Shame on this practice for being so cruel.
