Unleash Fido exceeded my expectations! My husband and I just moved to Jax 2 months ago. My dogs Daisy and Gunner have always been dog reactive, wouldn’t do well on walks, constantly pull on the leash, sometimes lunge at other dogs out of excitement, and basically wouldn’t listen to us. We decided to enroll our dogs in the doggie bootcamp after reading all the wonderful and positive reviews. At first we were doubtful if it would even work. We were so worried that our dogs personalities would change and basically became robots. After 4 weeks of intense training we finally saw our babies and we were in shock! My dogs were the opposite of what they had been when we dropped them off. They listened, obeyed, stopped being dog reactive but best of all they were still the same goofy dogs. Walks are so much more enjoyable and I’m no longer afraid that my dog will bite another dog. Thank you to their trainer Mackayla for working intensely with them. She was absolutely wonderful to our pups. My husband and I would call a few times every week to check on the dogs and she would always be so patient listening to our concerns. I highly recommend Unleash Fido!

If you’re on the fence about training your dog with Unleash Fido, do it!! We were extremely hesitant on spending the money and not seeing our dogs for 2-3 weeks, but it was completely worth it. Joel did an incredible job with training our 2 young dogs. Our Aussiedoodle puppy barked at everything on walks (people, other dogs, squirrels, etc), even if it was just walking from our garage to the car in our driveway. Our Goldendoodle jumped on everyone & wouldn’t listen when more exciting things were happening. My husband and I decided to do the board and train for both dogs and immediately when we got them back we could tell they were much better-mannered. They still have the same playful personalities, but when you tell them to do something they actually listen. Our Aussiedoodle doesn’t bark at all when I take him outside, which you just can’t put a price on that sort of peace of mind. I am able to have guests come into my house without having to worry about being jumped all over because my dogs will stay on their “place.” Joel has been so accommodating through this whole process, willing to answer my texts at anytime of the day. I was nervous that no one would be able to deliver the results he promised in our consultation, but he completely exceeded all of our expectations. Even my neighbors have been complimenting how well-behaved my dogs are now, which is such a great feeling!

Kendra did an amazing job with our rescue Bobo. He had severe separation anxiety and was scared of large dogs and most people. He was only himself around me and my other dog Bear. He stayed with them for 4 weeks and came back a different dog. Still his silly playful self but a lot more confidence, obedient and without separation anxiety! He walks around the dog park with his head held high now. It was definitely worth every penny.

The results are UNBELIEVABLE! My girl Harley was a very fearful, anxious dog but also incredibly spoiled and headstrong. I moved into an apartment complex recently and Harley has had a very hard time adjusting to the noises and strange people. She was struggling to adapt, couldnt focus on commands, and had severe separation anxiety.I left Harley with Kendra for 5 weeks and she came back to me more confident in her own skin, understanding of her boundaries and commands, healthy and HAPPY! I am so happy with this experience I booked Harley for boarding again while my family takes a trip in December. I know she will be safe. I am so incredibly grateful for Kendra and her team for taking such good care of Harley and helping her gain confidence so she can be comfortable in her new home. THANK YOU!!!

Extremely happy with Unlease Fido. We first met with Travis and he wanted to understand what the challenges we were having with our puppy and what we wanted to accomplish. We went through in detail of their training process and the various options. There was no high pressure sales - just here is our program and answered our questions. We signed our Beau up for the advanced class and Macayla was the trainer. She was great to work with, kept us informed of his progress and answered all of our questions. Thanks for such a great job with Beau.

Unleash Fido did a phenomenal job with my English Golden Doodle Puppy! When we dropped him off, he was jumping up on people, biting and tugging on the leash, picking up every stick/rock outside, teething on our hands and furniture, etc. Mckayla, our trainer corrected all of his bad behaviors. He graduated from puppy training school in a little over 2 weeks and we couldn’t be happier with his progress. He’s much calmer, less distracted, stopped biting us (puppy teething), walks beautifully on a leash, stopped biting and jumping on the couch, and responds to all the commands he was taught. Real life changer for our family and I highly recommend using them!

Excellent results! My dog had tons of separation anxiety, was aggressive towards others and pretty much ran my household. He would launch at other dogs, drag me during walks and whine for pretty much any reason. He was a lot to handle and at times I wanted to give up. They did an awesome job at reversing all of the bad habits! Macayla was patient and really responsive to all of my questions and concerns! She even adjusted her plan when she observed how he would get with me around. I truly appreciate her for caring and being extremely supportive during our training process! He is healed! Haha

Amazing trainers and facilities. Atlas was a very confused pit puppy and our (our bc the humans need help to) trainer Mikayla was amazing, and knew just what to do. We had a few setbacks and without hesitation they went above and beyond. Very helpful,knowledgeable, and professional. I cant recommend them enough!

My puppy went Unleash Fido for a 3 week puppy camp for training and it was a great experience! Sebastian was my puppy’s trainer and he did an amazing job! He was so patient with my puppy and very informative. My puppy went in with zero training. Potty training was a nightmare and he would be all over the place. After getting him back from training, he was a completely different puppy! He knows his boundaries and is potty trained! He’s very obedient now! Sebastian has made being a first time dog owner so much easier and has given me many tips and suggestions going forward with my puppy. Definitely recommend taking your puppy here for training. Makala at Jacksonville Unleash Fido worked with our very wild and destructive but extremely smart yellow lab golden retriever mix Bella. Makala was a pleasure to work with and showed great respect for Bella and us as pet owners. She gained Bellas love and trust and ours as well. She did an exemplary job training Bella and us so our future together will be filled with fun and love for us. Than you so much Makala for your patience with our constant questions and for being so willing to listen to our concerns and work with us to make us better pet owners as well as improve Bellas life and safety.

Amazing results! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Unleash Fido if you are looking for an obedience board and train program for your dog! I also want to highlight my trainer MACAYLA for the amazing results! I was having some difficulty training my 1 year old male lab/pit mix (Goni) before I decided to bring him into unleash fido. Before the 5 week board and train: he was a very active leash puller and very stubborn with his training cues in public, despite being perfect behind closed doors when it was just us two. Aside from the leash pulling, he was always very distracted while walking (children, dogs, ducks, squirrels, etc.) and it made it very difficult for me to communicate with him properly. He was also very bratty in public environments (coffee shops, stores, outdoor shopping malls): he disobeyed his sit, down, stay commands and would throw temper tantrums because he wanted to play with everyone walking by. Following just a couple of hours of having Goni back, Ive noticed a HUGE DIFFERENCE in his behavior and I am so proud of him! At first, I was very nervous that he would return to me a completely different dog, but he is still the goofiest, loving, and most playful little guy + AMAZING OBEDIENCE! Macayla was in charge of Gonis training and she was very knowledgable about any questions that I had (I had a lot of questions too). She provided weekly progress reports that included descriptions of his training (how well he did, what he needs to improve on, and what things she will work on next), pictures, and videos of Gonis training. I am so happy with the results and I will endlessly give credit to Macayla for Gonis amazing training. I will always be bringing him to unleash fido for future out of town visits for boarding and further training!

We adopted a rescue with really terrible manners. We then had an emergency where a family member was having surgery and having a 40 lb dog jumping and running wild would pose a danger. We needed to board our pup and contacted Unleashed Fido. I met with Travis, who evaluated our pup and agreed she had no manners :) He worked with me to go ahead an board her immediately due to my husbands surgery. Our pup was lucky enough to be trained by Kendra. Five weeks later our pup is well behaved. She doesnt jump on everyone, she doesnt bark over people, can walk calmly on a leash and generally obeys (she is a bit stubborn), she no longer nips at the kids when playing with them. Kendra met with us several times to make sure our pup was adapting well when she was back at home. When we returned for a follow up lesson, our dog was so excited to see Kendra. It is obvious that her boarding/training experience was a great experience for her. Thanks to Travis and Kendra we have a family pet that we can all enjoy. My kiddos can cuddle with our dog because she is no longer too wild for them. They have bonded with our dog now instead of fearing her. The training that Travis and Kendra instilled is invaluable and I could never have gotten the results that they have provided. Because of Unleashed Fido I have a happy, well-behaved dog and we are able to enjoy being her owners. If you are on the fence about getting your dog trained by them - DO IT. It is worth every penny!

Outstanding experience! We brought our year old American Bulldog mix, Buddy, to Unleash Fido for the 5 week boot camp. Buddy was a street dog rescue and we wanted to make sure he became well mannered and obedient. I have to say that bringing buddy here was the best thing we could have done. From our initial consultation with owner Travis to and thru the training process with Kendra our experience was amazing. Kendra managed to take our 75 pound ball of energy and turn him in to a well behaved happy dog. He did not lose one ounce of his will or personality. He is just as vibrant and fun loving as the day he went in. We were kept up to date with the weekly training videos and Kendra was always there to answer any questions.I cannot thank the entire staff at Unleash Fido enough for the great work they did with our dog. I would highly recommend them to anyone and for any dog.Again, well done Travis and company and a special thanks to Buddys trainer Kendra for a job well done!

Our Llewellin Setter puppy just finished a board and train at Unleash Fido. We met with the owner and asked lots of questions to decide the best training for her. Travis was very helpful and empathetic to our frustrations with such an active breed.As a working dog, she needs a lot of stimulation but, if her energy is left unchecked, her excitability and impulsiveness leads to bad behaviors we were unable to control. We knew we needed help!Near the end of her training, we had a short training session with our dog’s trainer, Sebastian. He showed us and explained all the commands she is to follow and listened to all our concerns and questions. Then we made arrangements for a final training session the day we brought her home. Again, Sebastian was extremely patient and made sure we were comfortable with the training going forward. He’s an excellent trainer and just as good with the owners! The best part is that they follow our training with our dog for the first year.This is just our third day with her at home and while we are still learning to work with her as second nature, we could not be more pleased with her behavior and the progress she’s made in such a short time! She’s already a different dog! We highly recommend Unleash Fido!

Unleash Fido literally changed my life! My 3 year old Doberman, Maverick, developed severe reactivity over quarantine and I was having a lot of trouble reeling in his behavior. Walks were becoming daily nightmares instead of the enjoyable bonding experiences they once were. At a point, I even feared he would bite someone or another dog. I was at a complete loss when I started looking at sending him to training camp.I had already tried an at home trainer who used a positive reinforcement only method. This was completely ineffective for my dog and I ended up wasting about a month and a thousand dollars.I decided to send Mav to the 5-week behavioral boot camp, and it was the best thing Ive ever done for him. Mavericks trainer at Fido, Macayla, is a miracle worker. I looked forward to receiving his weekly report cards to see what he had learned each week, and when he got sick while boarding, Macayla shared her personal cell phone number with me and texted me with updates on how he was feeling. She was extremely responsive to me and I could tell she genuinely cared about Maverick.When I went for our pre-lesson, I could tell she and Mav had a really great bond and they were very in tune with each other. He was a different dog, but still the same! I was a little worried he would turn into a robot, but that definitely wasnt the case. He was the same boy I dropped off, just much more relaxed and not so worried about everything around him. Macayla taught him to pay attention to me and look to me for guidance when he was unsure.I will warn anyone thinking about the camp that this is not a one-step solution to your dogs behavioral problems. You absolutely must put in the work and follow your trainers advice after camp as well. I work with Maverick daily for about 30 minutes outside of his normal exercise time, but I never would have gotten to this point without Macayla and Traviss help. Training/work time has become a really important part of my daily routine with Mav that has helped us bond a lot, especially after losing my other dog to a stroke the day after Mav came home from camp. Working with Mav has given us both a new focus to help us cope as well, so it was a blessing in disguise.THANK YOU SO MUCH FIDO!!!!

Extremely satisfied with the help and training from Unleash Fido! I have two dobermans who are a spit fire of energy. Walks were UNenjoyable and nearly impossible. They would both drag you through the streets in excitement. When visitors came to the house, they assumed it was their company and would rush them and hop up on them (all good intentions). It was like trying to rope wrangle a terrified two year old in a candy shop. No listening skills. No obedience. No redirection. Attention span of one as well. My dobies were split between the trainers, Mikayla and Ashley. They emailed me weekly with updates, pictures and videos. They graduated in May and the turn around was a complete, satisfied 180°!! I was able to walk them BOTH, together with ease. No squirrel/lizard/rabbit chasing. Stayed by my side. Stopped when i stopped and had manors in the house!I recently lost my oldest dobie to an unfortunate and heartbreaking accident. It was hard on the whole house as well as put my younger dobie in a depression. We haven’t kept up training in weeks. Today we got out and went on a walk, as trained and taught. She didn’t miss a single beat and still kept up with everything she was taught. I was excited and proud! She doesn’t clear doors without command. Stayed in her position the whole walk and stops immediately when i stop.I’m grateful for the Unleash Fido team, facility and definitely Mikayla and Ashley who did an outstanding job with my Dobermans!

We have decided to take our new Malenios here to be trained because they actually know the breed and what to expect. They were very informative and professional as well and a very clean facility. I believe we will be very pleased with the training they are going to provide our dog. We will update this review after training is complete.

Initially, we were only looking for a doggie daycare while in the process of moving from Atlanta, but we found so much more with Unleash Fido! Our hound mix, Shadow, has always been a puller on leash and a runner, off leash and would not come when called. She had also started to exhibit aggressive barking around strangers in public...creating a lot of anxiety for both of us. After meeting the staff and trainers during daycare visits, we signed up for a 5 week, board and train boot camp. Macayla has done an excellent job with Shadow...she sent weekly report cards of her progress along with pictures and videos. Shadow has been home for a month now and we could not be happier with her transformation! Shes still the same sweet, happy hound but now our walks are a dream, no more pulling! Shes met several new strangers, calmly with tail wagging and weve tested her off leash skills on an empty beach and she was perfect!! Its not just about Shadows training, we also had to be trained! Macayla and Travis spent several hours with us and Shadow to unsure her transition home would be a success. This was definitely an investment in time and money that was worth every bit of it! We are so grateful for the Unleash Fido team and would highly recommend them!

I came to Unleashed Fido based on a friends recommendation. They set up a consultation to address my concerns and questions in person. Also, to meet my puppy. I did the Puppy Camp, which is three weeks, and received weekly updates on my dogs progress. I liked they spend time with you on doing a trainer-to-owner transition. In addition, having follow-up sessions to ensure training is maintained. The people at Unleashed Fido are great, especially Macayla (my dogs trainer), and want to see you and your dog succeed.

We took our German Shepard (Rocco) for advance training to unleash Fido after their competition failed by not properly training him. Their excuse was “it is your dog’s personality” . Our trainer at unleash Fido was Joel, within 3 weeks Joel gave us an amazing well trained dog. I highly recommend unleash Fido. Unfortunately Joel moved to Tampa to operate another location for unleash Fido so if you live around Tampa area look him up. As to local unleash Fido they have an amazing staff . We are so happy with them that we are planning to board Rocco there when we are away since they offer maintenance training while he is boarding with them . Thank you Off leash Fido.

My husband and I got a “wedding puppy” with a ton of energy and a mind of his own! We adopted him knowing he hadn’t had a lot of socialization with people or other dogs, but we felt we could handle it and wanted to bring him into our home. We quickly realized we were in over our heads! Eros was nothing like our first dog and while we loved him we were very lost with how to train him. He was not an aggressive dog but he was a loud dog that wanted to bark, whine, and jump at people. Though he wasn’t trying to hurt anyone he came off frightening to other people and it was difficult for us to take control of the situation. We took him to group training classes and while he “graduated” there was no progress. We got turned away from another boarding facility because he barged in the room pulling and barking. That was our breaking point. We looked up training places and found Unleash Fido, while the board/train is expensive it is 1000% worth it!!! I went from not being able to last more than 10 mins on a walk to taking 45 min walks like it’s nothing. Eros is still full of energy of course but now I can control the situation! Now I am proud when guests come over and see how much Eros has grown! I would make this investment over and over again! Thank you Kendra and everyone at Unleash Fido!

We began searching for a puppy training program when we realized that we were not making much progress on our own! After much research we decided to schedule an in person meeting to listen to what Unleash Fido had to offer. As a result of our meeting with Travis, my husband and I decided our 9 month old Cockapoo puppy Nelson could benefit from the Boot Camp. We definitely made the right choice! We are retired and want to include Nelson in our travel plans when the destination is pet friendly. For the times that we cannot include Nelson, we are thrilled to hear that Unleash Fido also offers boarding and Nelson will be in good hands while we are away!We highly recommend Unleash Fido and want to give a big shout out to Nelsons trainer Sebastian! Although we missed Nelson, Sebastian provided weekly updates & videos. Thank you, Sebastian! You did a great job training US as well!

If youre on the fence or second guessing because of price- Please read this review!I had a 6 year old boxer when I sought help from Unleash Fido. For about 2 and half years my dog had become increasingly more aggressive towards other dogs. First it was mature male dogs still in tact, so we skipped the free dog parks. Then it was pretty much all male dogs, so we stopped going to dog parks altogether or anywhere he could be off leash. Unattended to, his anxiety grew to affect his relationships with our other pets at home. Inner-pack aggression up-ended our family. Its just my boyfriend and I with our three pets, all of which we love so dearly and it was really hard for us to have dogs in the house that didnt get along. Stressed and emotional is an understatement.Our boxer mix, Ruger went through the behavioral training program (5 weeks on campus, immersive training). Kendra was our trainer, she was amazing! They allowed us to have working sessions on site with our other dogs as a part of Rugers training and we did a one-on-one once a week for the last 3 weeks of his training where they trained the trainer and I learned the handling skills I would need to help Ruger be successful at home. Kendra also came out to our house to help me adjust to training with all 3 dogs. She was so responsive and patient. I ask a lot of questions and she never waivered in her patience and re-explaining tough concepts.Not every day is perfect, there are still days occasionally that Ruger needs a little more attention and reminders how to handle his anxiety but we got our lives back and peace at home. Honestly, how do you put a price on that. Weve got our happy Ru-bug back. Thank you Kendra & Team!!!

From the time we met Travis and the rest of the team at Unleash Fido, weve felt like were hanging out with lifelong friends of the family. Our German Shepherd, Hobbs, was mostly trained before we got him from Travis, but the level of attention weve received far surpasses anything we could have expected. Weve boarded him there, taken him back for several rounds of continuing training, and have received dietary advice, medication advice, and parenting advice for our furbaby. Ive referred several people to them, and would argue that they are some of the best at their craft.

We put our dog Newton through the 5 week obedience doggy boot camp. After his 3rd week he looked like a new dog. My wife and I are super impressed with Kendras work.He has now been home for 3 weeks and the training has stuck! Just make sure you do your part in 15-30 mins of training everyday with your pup, and you too will have excellent results.Thank you Kendra for all your hard work!

We rescued a hound mix and the first 3 minutes in the house she had broken lamps, almost jumped on the kitchen counter and started marking every spot she could get to with urine. She also did not like her crate and would cry and howl constantly. She was basically a very sweet but very wild animal. Travis met with us and paired us up with Sebastian. Sebastian is an awesome trainer! He understands dogs. He kept her longer than the 5 weeks, until she was ready, but more importantly, until I was ready. We also have another rescue who is a hound, but he is older and a completely different dog. Sebastian worked with all of us, including my male hound, so that we could all learn the rules. Now Millie is calm and she knows her what is expected of her. The guidelines and routine we have for her has stopped all the marking in the house, she no longer jumps up on counters or humans and she crates beautifully. When I behave and follow all the rules and use all the tools Sebastian taught ME, then the dogs do really well. Everyday she becomes more of a domesticated house dog who will be able to live a normal life as a normal house dog, not a wild stray! We thank Sebastian for all of his patience and kindness and teaching as he helped us settle in with our two adorable hound rescues.

We recently took our rescue labs to Unleashed Fido… both dogs needing their own level of training. Ashley and Kendra were both amazing when it came to training our pups! Ashley had the challenge of training Harvey, a dog that was pretty obedient, but had aggression issues and Kendra had the challenge of training Calvin, a very sweet dog, but OH SO STUBBORN when it came to obedience! All I can say is WOW! What a difference they made in our lives by training our dogs AND us! Both ladies were very attentive and really cared about the well-being of our dogs. They sent us updates every week with photos and videos on how well they were doing! We were amazed how quickly our pups were learning and how much fun they were having! Now that our dogs are home, we work with them every day on their training and we are sooo happy with the results! Thank you Ashley and Kendra!!!!!

I want to highly recommend Unleash Fido in Jacksonville and trainer Kendra in particular. Our 4 year old black German Shepard, Hawk, was an over excited dog about absolutely everything. Although he is very smart, and a quick study for sure, he was good with people but aggressive with any other animal, large or small. He knows commands in English and German and we can teach him tricks in minutes. However, he was uncontrollable on a leash and the heel command did not exist for him. When I went to take him for a walk one day, he shot out the front door dragging me with him him, and dislocating a finger on my hand that was wrapped around the leash. He is a force to be reckoned with at 100 lbs. I nor my husband are lightweights but he is very strong and agile. While icing my swelling hand later that day, knowing we needed professional help... I went online and found Unleash Fido. We signed him up for behavior and aggression boot camp and advised his assigned trainer, Kendra, that he was not socialized to other dogs/animals, had become very protective of us and during Covid quarantine, his territorial behavior had intensified. His focus can be laser sharp and with intense determination. After 4 weeks of Kendras training Hawk and us, we brought home a relaxed, well-adjusted, more loving and best of all obedient dog that is not anxiety ridden or fearful. We go on leashed walks almost every day and heel/fuss have become my favorite command. We can pass other animals without issues although we do not allow him off leash. We do use a muzzle when around other excitable dogs in close proximity as a precaution. Hawk could care less and does not mind it. Again, thanks Kendra for acclimating him to the muzzle for safety...we had failed in our attempt to use previously. So now we have happy pet parents, a happy, well-behaved and relaxed dog that loves to show off his newly learned skills.

The wife and I decided to add another fur baby to our family, since the one we already have desperately needed a buddy. And I mean fur “baby” in every sense of the word. The new pup was less than a year old with no prior training coming from a home that didn’t fulfill his needs to grow. He was very needy, whined and barked a lot, had trouble listening to commands to show restraint, impossible to walk around the block, and couldn’t trust him around new people without giving them a disclaimer that he has no personal space. We decided to give Unleash Fido a try and what a great decision that was! No other place would take him in, even for short boarding purposes because of his loud bark but no bite. Unleash Fido had no problem with this and even takes dogs with more severe cases of shown aggression. I 100% recommend Kendra as your trainer there. She has completely turned our puppy around. He’s quiet when he needs to be, he no longer has problems with taking direction from us, and walking him has been a night and day transition, all thanks to Kendra and her help.

Nothing but amazing things to say!! We took our 5 month old French bulldog puppy here to learn some commands, leash walking and help with crate training. After 3 weeks, she’s a completely different dog! Ashley was amazing with Penny - it is very clear how much she loved working with our pup and I so appreciate that! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! After adopting my 4 year old black lab Belle in October of 2019, we decided to bring her to here for the board and train program that December. She was always a sweet girl, but would get a little crazy when she got excited and we have three children (the youngest < 1 at the time). Also she was an escape artist, running out the door any chance she got and digging under the fence if she got out of sight. She was boarded for ~ 5 weeks and trained with out new friend Joel. When we went to pick her up, she was the same loving and excited friend we dropped off, but was now respectful of personal space, not jumping on guest or accidently knocking over the kids. I can now leave the door to the house or garage wide open with no fear of her bolting, she will patiently wait until given the release command. The biggest perk of our training was the 1 on 1 follow up sessions with Joel where he taught me how maintain the work they had done, even expand her train and most importantly how to better communicate with my furry friend. We are always receiving complements from our neighbors on how sweet and well behaved she is. She is fully reliable off leash now and only uses one in situations that are for her safety.

We brought our recently rescued dog to Unleash Fido to help with walking and house manners. Prior to the boarding/training course he would pull and jump anytime he got excited. Now he walks like an absolute champ and we even get to take him on runs and bike rides. Our trainer, Macayla was so helpful and encouraging both to us and our pupper. I highly recommend the 3 week course and definitely recommend Macayla!

Ashley recommended that we do the 5-week behavior camp for our 1.5 year-old Rottweiler. From the moment his training started, our dog fell in love with Ashley and he respected her. Our dog needed lots of help! For example, he needed help with leash management, more socialization with dogs/people, not freaking out on walks when he sees other dogs/distractions, marking his territory, etc. Ashley worked diligently with our baby. She sent us weekly updates, and she answered every single one of our texts whenever we sent her questions/concerns. Our Australian Shepherd recently completed a five week behavior camp at Unleash Fido and his primary trainer was Ashley. We struggled with this decision because it is quite expensive, however it was worth every penny! Tucker came home with good manners, now listens to our directions, and we are able to have a calm loving happy pup! He still has some work to do and so do we, but overall a HUGE improvement compared to what he was when he went there. He is no longer reactive on a leash, able to stay on place even with distractions, and we dont dread taking him on walks anymore. He is more confident and friendly with people and other dogs. Ashley was so good with him and not only trained him but we feel like she also treated him like he was one of her own dogs for those five weeks. I had no reservations that he was getting the best possible care while at Unleash Fido. I love that their pricing includes the actual time your pup is with them for training, but also the Educator collar that you go home with and several followup visits to work on any issues you have found once you bring him home. They are like a family there and we will now also be using them exclusively for Tuckers boarding needs when we go out of town. It even made a believer out of my husband! He actually plays with Tucker now and enjoys his company, which was not true before since Tucker was so uncontrollable. If you are wondering if behavior camp is for you, try it! Travis, the owner is so friendly and easy to work with. He gets involved in your dogs training as well and offers suggestions. And Ashley is amazing!

So my dog (zelda) has had behavior issues with other dogs. To the point of concern. She went to unleash fido for about a month and worked with Ashley. I picked her up and got some hands on work with Ashley to make sure either understood her commands. About a year later I has a new partner and requested help in making sure my partner also knew the commands. I was able to bring him in and Ashley showed us what we should expect and how to handle my baby with their commands. Zelda has not only done training there but also stayed there overnight multiple times. She has come home bathed and refreshed in training. The staff all around is amazing and professional. Ashley has been amazing since the moment she had Zelda in her hands. She texted me often with an update on Zeldas training. I got videos and messages with all her updates. Ashley also messaged me when she noticed I brought my partner in because she wanted to continue with Zeldas progress this business and their workers/trainers are very hands on and really care about their guests. I recommend them them on every aspect. They are amazing! No doubt about it! I have attached some pictures sent to me while Zelda was training. The updates on her training was more than I could have asked for while I missed my furry baby.

My dog had developed aggression issues with strangers over the pandemic. I took him to Unleash Fido for their 5 week training bootcamp and hes like a whole new dog! Ashley was fantastic ! Travis set the groundwork &expectations and followed through completely. They went above and beyond when Titan had an allergic reaction to something in their area during his 3+ week stay. The follow up sessions were excellent and they addressed our at home training questions. The experience has been terrific and truly helped our relationship with our dog. You must put the time in with your pet to get the results. Travis was very clear with that in the initial meeting and it has proven to be very accurate. Unleash Fido was one of the best investments we made for our puppy!! My boyfriend and I recently adopted a one year old German Shepard from the humane society. At first, she seemed super docile and quiet, but as soon as she got around other dogs she was extremely reactive. It was to the point where we didn’t even want to take her outside because of how hard she pulled, how terribly she listened, and how much she barked, whined, and lunged at other dogs.All of this was quickly fixed with the puppy boot camp and aggression training. Kendra was our trainer and she was the absolute BEST! She was incredibly patient with our puppy and always kept us up to date with everything. If anything was urgent she gave us a call right away. Kendra gave us so many tips and tricks and even helped us pick out a better collar for our puppy.She helped me and boyfriend learn how to properly train our puppy at home. She gave us collar recommendations, exercise recommendations, and even training treat recommendations. She was incredibly informative and answered every single question we had. I don’t think we could have gotten a better fit as a trainer for our puppy!Our German Shepard came back with her same sweet personality, but she now listens to commands and behaves around other dogs! Major, my 8 month GSD recently attended boot camp for five weeks at Unleash Fido. While very sweet, Major is fearful and barks at people that he does not know, making them think that hes aggressive. That was my biggest concern, as well as not listening to me......he was the runt of his litter, so I babied him from the day I brought him home. Ashley did a tremendous job with him...by the end of five weeks he wasnt as easily distracted, would go to and stay in his place until we released him with free and his come when called was awesome! I cannot believe how well behaved he is now! Hes still fearful, but not as much and will stop barking at someone when I tell him no....his fearfulness will take a while to overcome but Ashley provided tips to help us. All staff that I encountered were extremely professional and friendly and Ashley kept me updated each week on Majors progress, providing pictures, videos and a summary of what and how he was doing. A couple of friends recommended Unleash Fido and Ashley to me, and I am very happy I listened. This was money well spent, an investment in Majors future. I highly recommend Unleash Fido and I am very grateful for the work that Ashley put into Major....he is a much happier dog and I am a much happier dog momma!

Our dog attended the 5 week advanced training and we have had Great results. Our trainer was Macaylaand we can not say enough great things about her. She is very knowledgeable and stays in constant communication during and after the 5 weeks is over. Would highly recommend Macayla and Unleash Fido!!

Ashley did a great job with our two pups!! We are so happy with our experience with Unleash Fido! She communicated with us throughout the whole process and consistently checks up on our dogs now that they are back home. Joel and Coltan trained my 2 year old pitbull who was starting to show aggression towards other people. Took him and got training. He now has no aggression toward others, and is respectful to my roommate and very obedient. This training has made my dogs quality of life 100% better and he is much happier and obedient now! This was a great experience for us. We signed up for the 5 week Doggie Boot Camp, and the results were excellent. The communication from our trainer, Kendra, to us was great. We have been through one follow up visit after the camp, and our dog is still responding well to commands. Kendra, our trainer was knowledgeable, responsive through text, and quite simply a joy to work with. We would recommend these services to anyone who is looking for results. The cost for the 5 Week doggie Boot Camp was slightly higher for the dog training market, but results were guaranteed, and you would not pay extra if your dog needed a little more time than the 5 weeks for the best possible outcomes.

This was the best decision for our dog Brew and his training. The entire experience was smooth. Kendra was our trainer and she was fantastic. Yes leaving your dog for 5 weeks is tough but the results when the pup returns home are worth it! Would highly recommend!

I scheduled a consultation with Travis a couple of months ago to see how we can correct my 2 1/2 year old husky Mallie. Mallie before her training was wild, aggressive in the sense she was trying to be the alpha of the household, even though we have 2 other dogs. After speaking to Travis, I signed Mallie up for a 5 week advance behavior and aggression program. Kendra our trainer has been absolutely amazing, from the weekly updates to the follow-up training to ensure that Mallie is doing well. When I saw Mallie for her 3rd week training, she was happy but obedient. She was listening to the commands, and I was amazed at how much she had changed. Before I couldnt walk her without her pulling me along. Now she listens, our walks are very enjoyable, and she treats my other two dogs as equals. I have contacted Kendra to ensure that I am doing my part correctly, and I absolutely love how she provides valuable feedback to be able to enjoy Mallie more and of course training keeps going. In regards to the aggression portion of the training, I was amazed at how hard she worked with Mallie. If another dog comes close to Mallie when she is eating, Mallie will sit back and turn her head away until the other dog has been (even if the other dog steals a pellet or two)! Also, the place command has been the lifesaver. Mallie will go to her place while our family is having dinner, or if we are doing something that we do not need her to be involved. Also, Travis liked the idea that I cycled, and did training with Malie so she can join me on short bicycle rides. We have tried it a couple of times, and she absolutely loves it, I cant wait for cooler weather for her to join me on longer stretches of rides. I highly recommend contacting Unleash Fido, they are very friendly, they care about your furry kids, creative in training for particular needs and they do a fantastic job!

I have an American standard pitbull and he got trained here when he was less than a year old and while I was hesitant about the use of the prong collar and the shocking collar I was pleased that he exhibited better behavior. My issue arose when I started to board him he had reverted to some bad behaviours that he didn’t have when he was younger however every time I pick him up from boarding he is much smaller than when he dropped him off even if it was just for a weekend or five days.And he would always have issues such as scratches or he would just lose a lot of weight over the time that he was being boarded for and I feel like the staff does not communicate to me what is happening with him while he’s boarding if any problems has a reason they are very reluctant to give me a phone call and when I confront them about it they make it seem like I’m crazy for having a problem.

Sent our 8 month old black lab to board/train for 5wks. He came back a brand new pup! Training worked out 100%. Our trainer Macala was the best! Highly recommended for their schooling and that trainer! Thanks again for all the solid work!

We used Unleash Fido for our Doberman Pinscher, Jax, who was very stubborn and would only listen to us when he wanted to. He was very wild and sometimes mean. Jax worked with Joel, and Joel did an INCREDIBLE job with training Jax. Jax is now a much kinder, softer dog. Jax has learned to listen to us, and we have even mastered off-leash training with him. We signed up for private lessons with Unleash Fido specifically to work on lease walking. My dog Woody has changed after just one visit. I previously had such trouble with him on walks.Tugging, lunging at times and after just the first visit, he was completely changed. Walks at my side, NO longer tugging on his leash and putting undo strain on his neck. I can ditch the harness which I only used to keep him from hurting himself. Im convinced now that I will be putting my new puppy Wyatt through the puppy bootcamp some time in the near future.

We cannot thank Unleash Fido and Joel enough for training our German Shepherd, Savannah. She is now a completely different dog with both her behavior and obedience training. The way that Joel understood Savannah’s personality and tailored her training for her specific needs changed our lives with her for the better. It was a completely customized experience by Joel allowing us to be an active part in what we needed from her training and teaching my husband and I what Savannah needed from us to be better dog owners. My rott-mix was extemeltly dog aggressive. Imagine any worst case scenario you have seen on those pet training shows. Growling, lunging, pulling, it was horrible. Unleash Fido’s program helped her with her impulse control to the point where she could actually relax and control herself around dogs long enough to realize they were not all a threat. She even has a few dog friends now. Training has been ongoing after the program and the trainers have responded to my questions to help continue to correct any ongoing issues.

Another great experience at Unleash Fido Jacksonville. Sent our 4 month old lab puppy for puppy training. As with our 2 previous dogs, Unleash Fido did an amazing job. Kendra was in contact with us weekly and even sent vidoes of Aces progress and she was really awesome. Ace now does well going on place, sitting, staying and walking on the leash without biting at the leash, pulling and misbehaving. I would highly recommend Unleash Fido !!!

Unleash Fido was excellent! They trained my too smart husky and he is so well behaved! Joel did a fantastic job with Finn. I now send him there for daycare and he loves it! I cannot say enough about what Unleash Fido did for our family. Over a year ago, we brought in our two rescue pit bulls (one who is aggressive towards strangers) to work on their obedience because when the dogs were excited they did pretty much did what they wanted. After 6 weeks of training, the dogs had become much more relaxed and obedient . Travis and company also did a great job of teaching us how to better communicate with our dogs to ensure long term obedience. Fast forward a year and a half and a new child and the dogs are still doing great. We adopted our sweet Pitt bull mix, Maple, a little less than a year ago from the shelter. From the start we recognized she had major disobedience issues (play biting/jumping/chasing/destroying things... etc.), and a serious prey drive to chase our cats and Pomeranian around the house. Taking her out of the house was nearly impossible, and downright embarrassing at times. We took our 10 month old puppy Millie to Unleash Fido for training. She is smart but very strong willed. We want her to become a therapy dog. Her trainer was Sebastian and what he was able to teach her was truly incredible. We had to leave her with them for 5 weeks which was very hard but the results were well worth it. Sebastian exceeded our expectations! Millie is amazing now. She learned so much in such a short period of time. We would definitely recommend Unleash Fido for all your training needs!

Unleash Fido is...Worth every penny! My girlfriend and I rescued our 1 year old German Shepherd from the Humane Society and immediately we knew we needed help. When I was searching for dog training places, Unleash Fido was the first one that popped up. After reading the reviews, I didnt bother to look elsewhere. I knew I wanted to take Winston here! From making a consultation appointment to setting a date to start the puppy training/boarding, Travis and the staff were very accommodating. I loved seeing updates every week to see how Winston improved! Ashley was his trainer and she communicated very well and answered any and all questions I had. Winston is so well behaved now and I couldnt be happier! I will definitely be bringing Winston back for daycare!

We put Roscoe (our rescue from the humane society) through the 5 week boot camp. Before boot camp Roscoe would cry and scream at other dogs while on a leash and only sometimes listened to commands. While at boot camp our awesome trainer Macayla sent us weekly pictures and videos of his progress and I was so happy to watch my knucklehead dog turn into a smart obedient version of himself. I’m very please with Unleased Fido and Macayla specifically for giving us confidence with our dog. I am no longer embarrassed when walking Roscoe and feel confident in our ability to take him out and about and not worry about him going crazy anymore.Another amazing thing about this place is they were able to test all of Roscoes boundaries with kids, small dogs, big dogs and in all sorts of environments which I truly appreciated. Being that he was a rescue and we knew nothing about his past I was weary to do any of those introductions on my own.We (as owners) have more training to learn with Roscoe and Macayla and are super excited to go back for our follow up lessons. The ability to go back and continuing teaching and learning with our dog is something I’m very excited about.My husband was weary of leaving our dog somewhere for 5 weeks and was scared nothing would change but he has now realized that this was the best investment we’ve ever made.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!Tony did some amazing work with my American Bulldog. She was a nightmare before taking lessons. Now shes a great guard dog. Literally took her from the worst puppy I ever had to the best dog. Her basic obedience is so great. Shes very protective now and can even go on walks off the leash.If youre contemplating whether or not to go to Unleash Fido. Let me tell you, you should have called them last week!!Travis you have a great operation going on. Im highly recommending your business to everyone I know.

Before Unleash Fido our dog Roofus was very dog aggressive, when walking, or even seeing another dog in the car or at home. He also had zero respect for us, and our carpeted home was his bathroom. When on walks or let outside to go pee or poop he would never poop outside. He’d only poop inside. Before we moved to Jax he was always playing and best buddies with one of my moms dogs, so we decided to get a puppy companion for him. A week after we got the puppy we decided to send Roofus out for the boot camp program. He spent from end of January to right before April there. Jade and Sebastian did a fantastic job with him! Travis was also very helpful with our puppy as well. Giving advise, and explaining how to have her not pick up Roofus’s bad habits. Once we got Roofus back he was like a completely new dog! Ignores other dogs, uses the outside as his bathroom, and listens to his commands such as sit, stay, place. I am very pleased with the results, and I know Roofus is more happy. Since we’ve moved to Massachusetts and Roofus is an angle, he even gets along with the dog next door. Wagging tails, play through the fence, and we walk them daily together. They seem to have also become best buddies! I attached a picture of Roofus and his sister Mishka!

Our family loves Unleash Fido and our dog’s trainer, Ashley. She has been amazing. We’ve done two rounds of training and she’s worked with our dog both times. We took him as a puppy and again as he’s approaching his second birthday. We needed some additional help with him responding to dogs and didn’t know how to train him alone. Taking him to Unleash Fido for a second round was a no brainer. It’s possible that our dog loves Ashley as mush as he loves us; I think that speaks volumes and she loves him too.Our new assessment for if we’re ready to add a puppy/dog to our family in the future is if we can afford to send them to Unleash Fido. If the answer is no, then we’re not ready to add a puppy/dog. Our dog is a rescue and had a lot of habits that needed to be addressed and we couldn’t have asked for a better place or trainer to partner with us. We never questioned the safety and love given to the animals and families in addition to the much needed training. We highly recommend!

Wonderful experience with the trainers and the staff, they are always happy to see dogs that they have trained to come back for more. They also help guide you through continuing there training for when they get home.

I put my 1.5 year old Golden Mountain dog into the behavior training course. She was very anxious and nervous around new people. She didn’t have a good appetite and wasn’t able to go on walk around our neighborhood because she was so nervous. My dog, Maggie, trained with Ashley and came back home a different dog. She has confidence and all her problem areas saw major improvements. Ashley was great at keeping us informed on Maggie’s progress, answering all our questions, and loving on Maggie for us. Nothing but great things to say about her!

We had a very problematic Labrador who was becoming more and more of an issue for us. We worked with both Ashley and Sebastian in working to remedy a lot of his confidence issues, resource guarding, and other problems that were making our life very difficult! From the first phone call where we discussed our concerns, to the weekly updates and follow-up training lessons with us and our dog, Ashley and Sebastian have been amazing and there is no other place I could possibly recommend for when youre struggling with a dog with behavior issues! Forever grateful to these two for not only working with our dog -- but us too so that we knew what we had to do better to ensure our dogs success!

We brought our dog in for a fresher on training and we worked with the Trainer Ashley. She was very attentive, professional and thorough with instructions and direction on how to handle/train with our dog. It has been a challenge for us with our dogs aggression towards other dogs. The fresher on commands, proper training was my first time and was very helpful! Weeks following we have been following the direct & instructions provided by Ashley. The people at unleash fido are wonderful and personable. The dog trainers are the best and the boarding and daycare facilities are the finest around. My dogs just love it there.I gave 5 stars only because they didnt let me do 6 or 7.

We sent our 2 naughty pups for the 5 wk training and they emerged as little angels. Both boys were with Joel who is fabulous and the follow-up training i.e. train the parents is also amazing. Weve recommended them to a few people in our neighbourhood.

Do you AND your pup a favor...send your dog to Unleash Fido! We sent our 1 year old golden retriever to the 5 week obedience program and it has been worth every single penny!! We have only had her back a week and the difference is unbelievable! Our pup now has some much needed manners. Our trainer, Joel, was amazing! Not only with how he helped our dog but especially how he helped our entire family (kids included) learn the right way to communicate with our dog. And continues to help with any questions we have along the way. And an added bonus...we now know where to board our dog the next time we go out of town. So glad we invested in this 5 week doggie boot camp --worth every penny. We knew our (1 year old) sweet, cuddly miniature Golden would make the perfect Therapy Dog, but we also knew he needed some manners. What a difference 5 weeks makes!! We certainly expected him to master a few basic commands while at boot camp--but his level of obedience far exceeded our expectations. Ashley did an amazing job!For example, he will stay until instructed to move--even when you taunt him with doggie treats (totally amazing). He heals perfectly and does great off leash in public places (he doesnt respond to other dogs and will sit still while strangers pet him). My son jogs several times a week and takes our pup along (off leash). He no longer jumps on visitors, whines, jumps on furniture, or chews on slippers. It is so enjoyable to have such a sweet dog that actually listens too.

Our “puppy” Lilo - Lab / American Bulldog Mix...was a loving puppy, but as she got older and bigger she became more than we could handle. (Jumping on people, running out the front door and down the street, and the dragging us down the street on walks.After doing the consultation with Travis, and being told that the real problem was she was a spoiled brat, (my family says it is all my fault, and probably right!) he suggested that we enroll Lilo in the 5-6 week Behavior camp. We decided to turn our “baby”over to them.She was assigned to Joel as her trainer... we got weekly updates, videos starting week 3. WOW IS ALL I can say. (Every staff member I have dealt with has been awesome as well!)She has been back home for about 10 days and we have done one follow up training session. While there is still work to be done... my dog is well behaved... and still the affectionate loving puppy we all fell in love with. She has just learned that she only gets the love and attention when she is good. (And we are learning not to give it to her when she is not obeying.)We still have 3 follow up appointments... Joel has been awesome, words can’t describe how thankful we are for both his work with Lilo and the follow up he is doing with us to help Maintain.If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!! I would recommend Unleash Fido to anyone considering... yes, to let them Board and Train your pup is an investment, but when you break it down to a 10 year life of your dog... it’s a great deal! First I want to thank kendra for the wonderful job she did with my dog Max a Belgium malnois she literally transformed my dog in the time she had with him before I brought him there he was aggressive pulling me everywhere biting me and my family members now He is a great puppy I can say they are very professional and if you bring your dog in to unleash fido they will get you the results you are looking for thanks again Kendra I am very pleased thanks

My dog was having severe issues in social situations involving both people, other dogs, and other animals. Overnight he became extremely aggressive and protective of me. After speaking with several different trainers Unleash Fidos name came up as a recommendation on more than one occasion. After our initial counseling session with Travis we put him through the aggressive behavior training. Dozer came back happy, healthy, well controlled and more at ease with his surroundings. His trainer Sebastian did an incredible job at correcting all of my dogs issues and has been resourceful, respectful, helpful, and professional ever since. I board him there once a month and every time has been a positive experience for both of us. Would recommend to anyone.

Our little maltipoo, Lily, recently spent 5 weeks at Unleash Fido with our new friend, Kendra. Lily is a very smart girl, but was having some aggression/barking/biting issues at times. I have 5 younger children so I knew something had to be done if we were going to be able to keep her. Kendra is amazing! After 5 weeks with Kendra, Lily has completely changed for the better! Prior to Lily’s time with Kendra, Lily was very aggressive when strangers approached and wouldn’t listen when we tried to correct her at home. She barked excessively and was chewing on my kids feet/clothes. I used to feel like I had no control over how Lily responded to anything. Kendra has not only changed Lily, she has been very helpful and informative on teaching me/our family as well. I’ve learned that teaching the dog is only part of the solution, and I feel that Kendra has now given us new insight on what we need to work on as a family. I am extremely thankful for Unleash Fido and our new friendship with Kendra. I look forward to a few more follow up sessions with her to make sure we are staying on track. If you are considering training here, do not hesitate! Kendra & their training program have been a blessing to our little Lily & our family!

I would give Unleashed Fido and specifically our trainer, Ashley, 10 stars if I could. I can’t stress enough how fantastic Fido and Ashley are, she literally saved Mia’s life (not to be dramatic).Mia, my 45 lb boxer pit mix, is a rescue and was a handful from the very beginning. We were her third home and the shelter was very reluctant to let me adopt her because they knew her next home would most likely be her last if it didn’t work out. I knew Mia was so sweet at heart but had a bad past and a lot of fear aggression. Mia was a huge tugger on the leash, she was terrified of all new things (people and unfamiliar objects from flowers to cables to balloons), did not listen consistently to any commands, was impossible to take to a vet and was aggressive towards our much smaller dogs.I found Unleashed Fido on the internet and the reviews spoke for themselves. I spent two hours trying to find a bad review and I couldn’t.. I signed Mia up for the boarded training the next day. Mia was behind on her shots and Ashley even went through the trouble of taking her to the vet for us. After 6 weeks Ashley said she’s ready to come home.I remember when we went to pick Mia up and Ashley asked us to wait outside. She came out with Mia and Mia was completely focused on Ashley as they both showed off her new tricks. We watched as Mia heeled, sat when Ashley stopped walking, went and stayed in the bed until she was released, and wasn’t distracted by us or any of the other dogs. I was in amazement. Mia did a complete 180 and I was so proud.Mia and our household are much happier and my family and friends are so impressed with Mia. Just need to say thank you Fido and thank you Ashley!! We still use Fido for all our boarding and daycare. They are the best. Look no further for a trainer, this is hands down the best one there is.

Carley and Travis are AMAZING! We took our almost 3 yr old Golden to have their aggression bootcamp. Yes, aggression with a Golden. He would constantly pull and tug on his leash on walks. Whenever a dog/person would get near us he would growl, bark, and pull. Taking him to the vet was a very stressful experience for us. We anticipated the day when he would snap and bite someone. It happened. Going anywhere with him was an exhausting task. He was there for about 6 weeks and we would get updates via Carley every week with his progression. Anytime I had or still have questions they are just a phone/text away. Its amazing how calm and relaxed he is now on walks. He pays no attention to anyone but me. Yes, he has his mess-ups, but with proper correction he is right back on track. If you are considering Unleash Fido I would HIGHLY suggest them. Keep up with your training and you will not be disappointed!

Outstanding training- for both dog and owner. Truly transformed our dog and taught us how to keep up the things that our little Jake has learned. Jake is a Pit/Mastiff Mix he had terrible manners aka too excited around other dogs that turn into aggression so we werent able to bring him anywhere. We utilized 5 follow up trainings to work on his doggie aggression. Travis and Carley (Pictured with Jake) have been outstanding and will really teach you how to maintain what your dog has learned. Worth every penny! Military friendly! We are moving across country and Travis is still trying to guide us with our training from his connections. Jakes girlfriend Chloe who is a 5 year old pit bull as well went through the same training with similar issues and has exponentially improved and really listens to her owner. Also, Chloes Sister Lulu (around 1 year old) went through as well and is doing outstanding! After your dog goes through this training it is really up to the owner to learn from Travis or another dog trainer to CORRECTLY keep up the training that your dog has learned. If you dont they will regress- they are animals but really act just like children, they will test you to see if your going to enforce what they have learned at School. We couldnt be happier and Jakes quality of life is going to be much better now that he can go on walks, hikes and meet new doggie friends. Thank you so much Unleashfido you guys are outstanding!P.s. They even cut his nails for us during one of the follow up training because Jake still struggles with getting that done at the groomers. They are A-mazing!

Unleash Fido is the pinnacle of dog training. Our dog Brooklyn was very unmanageable and other training solutions seemed to become money pits. The attention to detail, breaking our dog out of bad habits, and than instilling those same training techniques once we brought our dog back home have netted excellent results. Just be aware that dog training doesnt just stop once you leave here. The importance of taking the techniques back home and practicing on a daily basis are just as important, if not more, than the initial visit to unleash fido. I highly recommend unleash fido. It has been a very important experience for us and our dog.

Unleash Fido and all the staff are super friendly and informative, especially Sebastian. Sebastian is very knowledgeable and was so easy to work with. My doberman is an extremely anxious dog so we signed him for the boot camp. Even though it’s a bit pricey, it was well worth it! My buddy’s manners in the house have improved 100%. He responds to commands better and walks great on leash. A perfect heel every time! Although he still gets a bit anxious around other dogs out on walks, Sebastian gave us the techniques and tools to help him through it. It definitely takes hard work and determination on the owners part but now we are much more confident on how to deal with his stress. I highly recommend Unleash Fido!

This place is awesome and really provides quality care for your dog as well as great training. I got a rescue husky who was very sweet but had zero basic training skills and was hard for me to control. I remember taking him for walks and my arm would be so sore the next day from him pulling. Travis was great at explaing the entire training process and getting me comfortable, and his trainer Joel has been AMAZING not only with him, but teaching me as well. He even helped out a friend who was watching my pup when I was on deployment. The whole staff here is great, really happy to have found this place.

My family and I spent a long time trying to find the right trainer for Aria. We visited many other trainers in the area and tried some of them out, but ultimately Unleash Fido was the best decision we could have made. Before we got Aria trained, she was very fearful and reactive. Being 66 pounds and all muscle, her strength was formidable, and shed lunge while barking at motorcycles, cars, people, bikers, runners, other dogs, and little kids while wed hang onto the leash for dear life. We were scared of taking Aria out to do the simplest things like go to the bathroom, not to mention going to PetSmart or other, busier places.When we brought Aria into Unleash Fido, Travis told us her problems from observing her behavior and we left her there the same day for a 4 week behavior modification boot camp. The team is amazing, they prioritize the well-being of your dog and the thoroughness of their training. Aria is very picky with her food is not driven at all for treats or food, so it was very hard to train her to get over her fears, especially loud sounds like thunder and fireworks. Aria ended up staying for 9 and a half weeks! And she came back amazing. It wasnt necessarily like she was a completely new dog; her personality was still the exact same; she was still our baby through and through. But, all the bad behavior was gone.Now she has no negative reactions to anyone. Every high stimulation thing that could pass she ignores. She also greets people happily, wanting to meet them and wanting to say hi and get pet. Weve taken Aria to PetSmart, Petland, the Town Center, and the beach. When we first dropped her off, Travis and Jade had to deal with a dog that was snarling and barking at everyone. They helped Aria go above and beyond and had her achieve the highest achievements possible in their program. Most recently, were having a friend over for 2 weeks. Aria had never met this person and before her training would have made hosting nigh on impossible. 3 days ago when our friend arrived, Aria went out to the driveway and happily greeted our guest. After a short walk, Aria let her into the house with no problems. Every day after, there were no problems with our friend coming downstairs to greet Aria; weve even left Aria at home alone with our friend when we had to go run some errands.On top of that, weve even been able to take Aria off-leash outside. When Aria only needs to go out for a short pee, I just open the door and let her out off-leash. I come out with her and after she pees, I tell her to go home, which she understands, and she heads right back to the side door and waits for me to let her in. Additionally, Aria loves swimming to death. Both of our adjacent neighbors have dogs; one of them has 4, and the other one is Arias nemesis. Whenever shed hear them bark before, shed run to the fence or even get out of the backyard through the lake were up against to go bark at them through the fence. So, we had to keep her on a leash whenever we went swimming and were continually stressed to keep watch of Aria. However, now we can have her go swimming completely off-leash and she ignores our neighbors completely.On the note of how well Aria was taken care during her stay at Unleash Fido, it was very well. As I mentioned before, Aria is extremely picky with her food and dislikes eating her kibble. In order to get her to eat, which even we find difficult, Jade added wet food to her kibble and returned Aria 0.6 pounds heavier than when she went in. The dogs staying at Unleash Fido are perfectly cared for; theres no reason to worry.Travis, Jade, and the team truly worked a miracle for us and has made our lives, as well as Arias life, so much easier and less stressful. Right after Aria, we sent our other dog Artemis to Unleash Fido as well because we know they will do an amazing job once again. If you have any troubles with your dog, whether it be big or small, I highly recommend the professional team at Unleash Fido. In addition to training your dog, they also teach you to how to continue the training.

Great experience for me and my German shepherd, Dixie. The trainer, Sebastian, took our dog from Pulling on the leash, and extremely dog aggressive and gave her back very well behaved. She is like a new dog and a pleasure to take on walks. Highly recommend this place.

We took our dog Bear to their 5 week behavior training camp. We have multiple dogs and were working on Bears aggression towards the other dogs. His trainer Sebastian was very good. He sent us weekly updates on Bears behavior and progress. E5 weeks went by very fast. Sebastian was very kind and informative, he was particularly helpful in learning how to read the body language and how to continue the training at home and in different environments. I highly recommend this place to anyone that has a difficult dog or even just wants to yeah their dogs basic training and manners.

One of my dogs, Lenny, went to boot camp while I did individual training for my other dog Leia with Sebastian. Sebastian was determined that we succeed and spent time making sure both dogs got the training best suited for their personalities. In addition to training at their office, Sebastian came to my home so we could work on how to translate their training to the real world. I know I can continue to call if I have questions. Sebastian really cared for my dogs and his patience with them and me was wonderful. Highest recommendation.

Probably the best investment me and my fiancé made into our dog. At a year old we brought our German shepherd mix Riley into Unleash Fido. She was super energetic and had some behavior quirks to be worked out especially at that time we were expecting a newborn into our family. We had some visits during her doggy boot camp throughout the month and were kept updated online with her progress throughout the duration. When we got her back she was a well mannered pup! Ashley personally worked with Riley and is absolutely beyond amazing and does such an amazing job! Even months since our visit Riley still behaves and does such an amazing job controlling her energy, even when long periods of time being left alone. Both me and my fiancé absolutely recommends Unleash Fido.Now for most of you wondering bout the pricing; We did the doggy bootcamp as stated before, to me its extremely fair when you break it down per week, and that your getting some of the top dog trainers in the area. We used Fido for training Nala our Great Dane. Speaking with Travis was amazing. We loved the companies approach to dog training. I have to say that I was a bit uncomfortable with sending my dog away for 3-4 weeks but meeting ASHLEY, her trainer, I knew this was the right place. Ashley was absolutely amazing with her, and completely empowered us to take over the commands Nala had learned! Everywhere we go, people compliment our well behaved 100+ lb princess. Highly recommend the dog bootcamp and graduate boarding. My dog Portia was showing aggression on our walks when we passed other dogs. She would attack my large dog to take out her frustration. I took her to Unleash Fido for the 5 week bootcamp and she now redirects her attention to me while we are on our walks and no longer attacks my big dog.

After an initial meeting with Travis, we dropped our corgi puppy Piper off at 16 weeks old. In only 5 weeks she has become an incredible dog and obeys better than 90% of other dogs I have met. We received weekly updates of not only her obedience training but her socialization. Her trainer Joel did a fantastic job of training Piper and ensuring that we are prepared to continue her training at home. Unleash Fido listened to our desires and concerns, and delivered on every front. We will definitely be returning for future training and day care needs!
