Amanda is absolutely amazing! Her knowledge and caring is just what we needed and more. She not only gave us the tools to succeed with our two hound dogs, but she has made a forever friend with them!

We did the 3-week puppy package with our 8 month old golden doodle. So happy with the results!Our main focus areas were getting along with our cat, basic commands (sit, down, come), crate training, and walking on a leash without pulling.Amanda was great with him and addressed all our concerns. Plus she has been very responsive afterwards with any questions we have run into.

My wife and I recently got a new puppy, a mini-labradoodle named Penny, and needed to find someone local in Jacksonville to train her. We did a lot of research and spoke to several different dog trainers around town and felt that Amanda was the right fit for Penny as she was very knowledgeable and offered training at our condo at the beach. Amanda went out of her way to get to know everything about Penny and the issues /training that we wanted to get resolved prior to us even meeting her for the first training session. Amada arrived on-time and called to let us know she was getting close. The training and instruction that Amanda provided to Penny was incredible. The first session went so well that we ended up doing (4) in-home sessions and also her multi-dog course where Penny could learn to socialize with other dogs in a safe environment. Amanda does not only train the dog, she also teaches the owner how to continue the training once the paid sessions are over to help your dog develop better lifelong habits. The best part was that Penny loved having Amanda as her trainer and would get excited every time we saw her for the training. By the time we were done our 5 month old Penny learned how to sit, stay, shake, laydown, roll over, leave it and became much more social with other dogs. Amanda also worked with Penny on poddy training and within a week Penny was able to use the fake grass on our patio. We could not have asked for a better experience with a dog trainer and we along with Penny would highly recommend Amanda to anyone who is looking to improve their dogs behavior and training.

Amanda is a great trainer. She’s got an amazing eye for body language and non-verbal conversations between dogs.I called on a Thursday, she responded Friday and we scheduled some time on Saturday to work through what I thought was some resource guarding between my mom’s 3yo dog and my 5mo pup.Amanda communicated clearly about arrival time, showed up when expected, and listened to the history. From there, she observed for herself and gave us some pointers and feedback about what was really happening - the puppy was just playing in a way that the older dog didn’t like, so he was telling the puppy off. Easy to fix - manage the interactions and remove the puppy if/when he gets overzealous.During the same session, which was purely intended to work on the two dogs coexisting during our visit, Amanda noticed a couple behaviors in the puppy that she could immediately help with - and did! Then she finished up by working on some loose-leash walking practice for both pups.She could have charged double or triple and it would have still been a great deal. She didn’t - her fees are extraordinarily reasonable (Amanda, you can / should charge more!) and there is loads of value for the price.We’ve scheduled some additional sessions to keep working on more obedience type work. I look forward to seeing how much more confidence my mom has with her dog, and how much additional freedom she has if she can start to include him in more activities without being afraid.

Amanda is absolutely spectacular! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking into dog training. She is professional, so nice, and is exceptional with dogs. She not only taught my Aussiedoodle a lot, but I also learned a lot along the way too. She keeps a very open line of communication and I love the pictures and photos she sends of things he is learning. I know my pup is in great hands and learning lots in Amandas care. We got Amanda to work with our dog Jedi. Jedi responds well to Amanda, and she definitely has a way with his stubbornness. Her love and knowledge of dogs is evident in all her interactions with them. Our Bella ( Lab/Pit mix rescue) is a different dog since meeting Amanda. She had major leash aggression and would not acknowledge us if we called her to come to us. Bella is much more comfortable when faced with other dogs as Amanda has taken her to the beach, a pool and even had her meeting other dogs one on one. Bella is finally able to not rip our shoulders off to get to other 4 legged friends as Amanda taught US how to handle these types of situations at the same time as Bella was learning. Bella has learned our hand signals to come when called and she is no longer mugging as at the door when we come home. Bella has manners!!! Amanda takes great pride in her work and has proven to us that with proper training and the best trainer any dog can learn how to behave!
