When writing a review I think its really important to review the particular stylist rather than the salon. Each stylist independently leases their space from a property owner who may or may not themself be a stylist. Also know that ownership and stylists do change so a review that fails to identify the stylist can do damage to the reputation of individuals who are totally unconnected to a particular incident. I have been seeing Jeremy for a number of years and have been extremely pleased with every appointment. He is knowledgeable and competent. He takes time to understand what my style goals are and is honest enough to tell me what will and will not work for my hair personality. My daughter also sees him and recently asked him about an up-do. He was honest enough to admit up-dos are is not his best skill - an admission she was glad he made. Jeremy is easy to like and has a great appreciation for all people. All this adds up to a 5 star experience in my book. He is usually booked way out, and may or may not be taking new clients at this time, but there has been a complete turnover of owner and stylists (with the exception of Jeremy) in the last year so you may find another stylists whose position is different.

Came in for a haircut and color.. Should be simple enough. For someone who has 20+ years experience with hair, I was extremely disappointed. I had asked for a solid brown all over. My hair turned out black with a purple hue. I had to go to a different salon to get it fixed.If I show you a picture of what I want and you tell me you can do it, thats what I expect to happen.I shouldnt have to go to another salon and pay an arm and a leg to fix your mistake.

Got an ombre done which I liked but I was really firm about not having any layers in my hair.I told her how much I hated layers and they are so hard to get rid of. She ended giving me a bunchof layers and now Im so frustrated that I have to deal with these layers for who knows how long.Ive had layers before and it took me about a year to get rid of. I ended up paying almost $200! Wont be coming back again, I hate when stylist dont listen to the boundaries of my hair and do their own thing. Not cool.

Alices Hair Salon is exteremly overpriced! I was charged $400 for a correction. This is insane! I have never been charged that much at ANY salon I have gone to- and Ive been to many high-end places. Not only was I robbed but my hair isnt even that great! Ive had three people ask me if my hair is GREEN- it is supposed to be blonde but there are still dark strips underneath. For $400 my hair should be prefect and made of GOLD. Save your money and go somewhere else!!!!!
