On the fence about Sorella. I’ve gone there for years, probably about 10. So I’m not a new client or new to their business practices. However, since the pandemic I have found that my stylists (I have seen 2, depending on availability) do not take any time to style my hair. Finger drying and then a quick roller brush for the ends on some of my hair. I used to walk out of this salon with my hair styled beautifully so I could go to dinner, etc. Now, I need to restyle myself if I plan on going anywhere. This is a pricey salon, so although I have no issue with my haircuts, I feel like I’m getting a little short changed on service. Maybe they now charge extra for a style, if so I’m not aware of it. During the beginning of the pandemic they didn’t wash hair, or dry, (understandable) but they still charged full price.

Everyone from the front desk to my stylist Sarah was welcoming and friendly. The salon is spacious, clean and modern in its appearance. I felt that my stylist listened to my needs and did a great job in carrying out my vision for my hair. I would recommend Sorella.

Josh was so nice and so accommodating. My sister and I came in and she did not have an appointment but needed her hair washed and styled due to having a shoulder surgery and her arm in a sling. Josh went out of his way to help her we will definitely be back for more services this was an a plus customer service experience

Love this salon! I’ve been wanting to try it for ages, and finally did for a cut. Lacey cut my hair and did a fabulous job. I explained my hair type and showed her some photos of what I was looking for, then we discussed what would be best and she got to work! I have limp, flat, lifeless, fine, thin hair - and my hair was getting way too long for this type of hair I have. Lacey took off about 3.5 inches and it sure did help! She did a blunt cut at about armpit length and added some face framing layers. During the styling process, she gave me some good tips for how to add volume to my hair. She also suggested getting extensions, which I might try next time. Will definitely be back to Sorella for my next hair appointment!PS: the salon felt very clean and safe during the pandemic!

Condensed: didn’t get what I asked for, tipped twice, it’s been 3 weeks and owner has not replied to my email even though I have called the reception desk and asked about when she will reply twice already. Last time I talked to a receptionist they said they’d cc me on the email they send to Jamie and she never did. Still haven’t heard from either one. Less than hospitable reception desk very unprofessional.Detailed: I asked for a dark brown balayage and instead got a highlight that was red/orange basically the same color as when I went in. I thought maybe it would look different when I went home so I tipped her 20% I came back 2 days later for a color correction and on the day of, they notified me it was gonna be an extra $80 to fix (since a balayage costs more than a highlight and for some reason I was given a highlight). The second stylist did a good job of fixing it but it sucks that I had to bleach all over again further damaging my hair and spend more time at the salon. I assumed that they would refund me the first appointment so I could repay for the balayage and tip the proper stylist who actually did my hair correctly. So I ended up tipping the second stylist 20% as well. I was told to email owner Jamie about my experience which I did on April 29th and still haven’t heard back, called the salon and they told me she’d get to it, called again this time the receptionist said she’d email Jamie to see what’s up and cc me and she didn’t. Below is a photo of what I wanted and three photos of the red orange I got the first go round.The only good thing about this salon was Sydney the colorist who fixed my orange hair. If you end up going here see her and try to overlook the poor reception management and ownership.

First off love everything about this salon from the vibe to the customer service. But Savannah is the hair GOD🙌🏻 I have always found such a hard time finding a hairstylist that i trust, But she does such an amazing job from the consultation to the final result. I get compliments on my hair DAILY. It’s honestly never looked so good and never FELT so healthy even after multiple lightening services. She doesn’t push your hair past it’s limits and ensures the health and quality of your hair. I seriously count down the days until i see her next lol. 10/10 recommend.

She really takes the time to listen to your lifestyle, so she can base your color and cut not only on what would look best with your features but also what you actually have time for! Got my first back facial from Shelby. It was one of my most relaxing experiences ever. Would absolutely recommend. She also fit in an arm wax for me. Shelby uses one of the best waxes on the market so there was little to no pull. It was practically painless. I can tell you that i will only be getting waxed with her from here on out! Great first time experience in this salon in spite of a small mix up with dates ( probably my own fault ). I came in for an appointment which was apparently not until the next day . Nonetheless , the salon quickly accommodated me and offered a really great stylist - Karra, who not only listened to what I wanted but made it look so much better ! I got tons of compliments since on my new fabulous hair and best part she was a super friendly and professional person . All in all it was a great first time experience and I can’t wait to be back again in a few months .

Ive gotten my hair done twice here by Sydney; once was a cut and the other was a partial balayage. Both times, I left with a smile on my face :) I highly recommend her. This girl KNOWS what she is doing. There was not one thing about my hair that she did not have an answer too; and I love that! Having a stylist who is amazing and confident in her work is a solid win.

After over a year of bad luck after my long term stylist retired, Andrea is the first stylist to make me truly love my hair again! She is incredible. I have had numerous friends stop me to ask me who does my hair. She makes the highlights looks so natural, like it is a better version of my own color. Highly highly recommend her!!

Stylists are great, front desk staff consistently disappointing. Heather, Pamela and Elizabeth are my go-to for blow outs and theyre great. Theyre all very friendly and do great work. Front desk staff in general are not customer service focused - dont seem to get the concept. Its really petty but the last 3 visists Ive been asked what I want to drink and all 3 times they forgot to provide it. Maybe just stop offering if you cant execute on following through on a glass of water.

Issaquah Sorella is the most professional and welcoming salon Ive ever been to! Wonderful front desk staff and amazing stylists! I got the best haircut from there and constantly get compliments! Very beautiful location as well. Would definitely recommend this great salon!

Not sure whats been going on lately, but they have been going through stylists like crazy! I had an appointment, and now, I cant get in because my stylist has left.. now they cant get me in when I had originally made the appointment, I had counted on. I have a business trip, and I needed my hair done.. Taking my business elsewhere.. I cant even believe this service. Ridiculous..

I love this salon! Its beautiful, they have great costumer service, and the stylists know what they are doing. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and I feel well taken care of when Im there. Im beyond pleased with my most recent hair cut, and plan to continuing being a client here!

I am truly impressed with the quality and service from this salon. I met with Chianna, who is a Master Stylist, for a consultation prior to my haircut. She shared helpful tips and advice. At the following appointment, Chianna gave me an amazing cut and listened carefully to my requests. Great experience!

I was very impressed with how welcoming and friendly everyone was who work there. I walked in to schedule an appointment and the receptionist was very kind and placed me with a stylist that would be great for the kind of style I was looking for. She placed me with Sydney and after she did my hair I thought I struck gold with her. I’m naturally a brunette and I wanted a blonde balayage. She made my hair look beautiful, natural and shiny. I look completely different but in the best way ever. Not only is she a master at what she does but she is also very easy to talk with and makes you feel safe and comfortable in her chair.The entire experience was refreshing, relaxing and I felt radiant after I left. Thank you Sydney for making me feel beautiful again!I highly recommend choosing this salon. The quality is 5 stars to me.

Jennie is the best. She deals with my two calics like a pro. I also take my 10 year old son to see her and he loves her cuts as well (as does Mom).

Krystina does an excellent job, and she was willing to work with me to figure out what I wanted. Shes professional and skilled. She even took a few pictures for me afterwards.In addition, the salon really cares for their employees and their clients. One of the girls has an allergy to a treatment I wanted, and I was mistakenly scheduled for that treatment while she was working. They rescheduled me after explaining the situation, and did so with courtesy and honesty. They showed respect for both my perspective and hers, which is no easy feat.This salon is amazing, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Ok cut and but the price was ridiculously HIGH. Apparently the price of the cut isnt included with the color. Hair color looks orange instead of copper. $300 for a regular, nothing special cut, and lousy color Ill have to pay even more to correct.....go elsewhere.

My friend got her hair done by Savannah and I loved her hair so much I decided to get my hair done by Savannah as well! I went in with a whole bunch of pictures from Pinterest and really didn’t know exactly what I wanted. Savannah took all of my pictures and created an AMAZING balyage! The color was so well blended and looked 10x better than the pictures I showed her. I wasn’t using the best shampoo and conditioner so my hair was looking a little rough... I went in for a photo finish gloss about 3months later and my hair looked brand new! I was amazed. Savannah gave me some recommendations on shampoos and conditioners to use at home and my hair color still looked amazing for months! (My bad for using Pantene! Never again!)I then went in again wanting a change, I wanted to go back to dark hair and again brought in a whole bunch of pictures from Pinterest, I am such an indecisive person...I never know what I want! She recommended we go dark but keep some dimension I agreed because I trust her 100% and she DID NOT disappoint!! I walked out of salon with hair 10x better than the pictures I showed her once again. (Not to mention her curls are the BEST!) I always know I’ll walk out of the salon happy and confident.Not only does she create the bombest hair she’s so sweet and I love talking to her during my visits to the salon.Truly grateful to have found Savannah, the salon has such a great atmosphere as well and everyone is so nice!! I was excited to go to Sorella (for the first time) in hopes of getting the perfect haircut by a top stylist. Im always wiling to pay more for quality work, but to be totally honest, the price was not worth the cut. I could have gotten that haircut at a Supercuts for a fraction of the price. I felt they did a lousy job washing my hair and it still felt dirty after. The hair stylist was a nice person, but too chatty. Finding the perfect hair stylist is the hardest thing ever! Needless to say, I wont be returning. :(

I absolutely love Sorella. I have been a loyal client for the last 4 years and have referred many friends and all have been so happy. They are on trend and so amazing.

The client before me went over (an hour and 10 minutes over), and the staff took the initiative to come to me and offer a discount due to the wait. Elizabeth did a great job on my purple ends!Unfortunately, no one told me that the amount of dye that came out would dye my tub! I even used cold water :( Also no one told me that it would fade when I used my straightener! Im a little upset about that because it is very patchyPLEASE update your consent forms, so that it doesnt happen to anyone else. Specifically with heat use and to wash hair in a place where it wont stain anything.

I went to 3 different salons before I found a hairdresser that could give me the exact cut I wanted. I loved it and received tons of compliments! I will definitely go back to Sorello.

I feel spoiled every time I step into this place! The stylists listen and take the time to get it right. The front desk staff is welcoming and friendly, always ready with a cold bottle of water and a smile! I have always been treated very well at Sorella and I look forward to my next visit!

I have been seeing Stacey at this location for a few years. I have followed her from another salon years ago. She is great at listening to what you want and making is happen. They just moved into a brand new location about a block away.

I really wanted to like this place but I would never step goid in there again. I originally went for my birthday as a gift from my husband for a cut and colour. The cut was below average, I showed the stylist something I liked and her comment was no....you have to style that cut everyday - pretty sure thats my issue to deal with. I asked for brown with NO red and I got red hair. I went back to have it corrected and all they did was put another colour over the top, the first one didnt change it so she went darker. Now my hair was really dark brown with red base in the light as the first stylist used permanent colour. In doing this they pretty much lost my great balyage (done in another country). I wrote a review and was contacted by the owner, very nice and she offered for me to come back so I went for a 3rd time. Again a colour was put over my hair, this time all balyage was taken out. My hair was nearly black but there is still red when in the sun because of the first colour. I then went back to have my balyage redone - I didnt feel 100% sure about having it done and tossed up maybe just getting my hair cut how I really wanted. The stylist promised me that the balyage would not come out red, she showed me swatches, I said they looked like there was still red and she continued to allay my fears. We went ahead and now I have copper highlights - still in the red family.I should state red looks terrible with my skin tone and given it was their errors that removed my balyage and having to pay $200 to have it put back in I would have hoped for ash tones I wanted.They should have stripped my hair the first time and refilled it but I think they just wanted to do the cheap and easy way out. Its a nice looking salon and they have nice product (hence the 2 stars) but the lighting is atrocious so you have no real idea of the colour until you leave.I am truly disappointed with the amount of time money spent, and then spending more on top of the original cost to correct the balyage...it was an absolute waste. Now I have to find a new salon and spend hundreds to have this fixed.

I had scheduled my appointment with one stylist who was at a higher level. I was feeling like my stylist was not as experienced as I expected and I inquired if I had the same person I made the appointment with.. I did not.. apparently that stylist had gone home sick. But they did not inform me at check in. This was disappointing, but in the end my haircut was okay.

Brand new to the area and in search of my go to salon. After $240 for just bleach (zero color, toner, gloss, etc) and a cut, two visits w/two separate stylists and relentless up selling, im moving on. I dont fault the stylists, I cant imagine they enjoy selling in the excessive, unnatural manner they do. You wont escape the force feed of add ons and product sales - its tacky.That said, Im willing to pay for good work and always buy products from my stylist. If the quality of care and ambiance were better, id happily buy everything they sold me.The vibe is that of a factory

Cheap Business Practice at Sorella Issaquah !I went in for a regular deep conditioning treatment for my hair at Sorella (Issaquah location). The stylist made me wait for 30 mins at the lobby and then she finally arrived with no word of apology. When asked about the benefits of deep conditioning treatment, she made it sound like it was a total waste of time and I should rather not do it. She was very pushy and wanted me to get the Brazilian blowout for my hair. I made it very clear to her that I wanted to get the deep conditioning treatment only at that point of time. When I was ready to pay the bill at the counter, I was rather shocked to see that she had overcharged me. Before I came in,I called up the salon to make an appointment , I made sure the amount they would charge me for this service. It was a flat rate they promised. The stylist here was truly dishonest, unethical and cheap.Later I called up the salon to speak to the manager. The receptionist took my message and number and told me that the manager would return my call. But, they never called and didnt bother to clarify. They clearly dont value the customer nor care about their business. I would never go back to this salon again. I wish I could give ZERO stars to this place Its a total rip off !

A salon you can count on for quality both in their talent as well as in their staff and salon aesthetics. Do yourself a favor and become a regular here!
