Carisa and her staff are excellent!!! She discusses all of my concerns and finds ways to resolve them. She is very wonderful with both of my elderly parents, and helps them with any concerns that they may have. I would recommend her to anyone.

Carisa is very thorough and always asks the right questions. Answers or gets the answer to my question. She does not hesitate to refer me to a specialist and is conservative in treatments. Upon arrival I was greeted with kindness made me feel right at home! Entire staff was so nice and I absolutely love Carisa Sparks she listened to all my worries and really cared! Moving from Kentucky I was a bit scared on finding the right Dr but now I have no worries I have found the right one for me and my husband 😊

Friendly staff efficient and punctual. The practitioner is knowledgeable and personable, takes the time to listen and makes sure all is my questions are answered. This group of medical service providers feel like an extension of the family and make each visit a pleasure.

Carisa Sparks is a great nurse practitioner! She is very thoughtful, detail-oriented, empathetic, and interested in her patients overall well-being. Carisa spends time with her patients; you never feel rushed or that she needs to move on to the next patient. I highly recommend Ms. Sparks as a primary care provider.

They lack professionalism and compassion. I set up an appointment, waited 3 weeks, showed up to my appointment to find the door locked. Stood in the hall for 30 minutes calling the number on the door, shuffling around on hold through their scheduling system. Finally got a hold of a person who told me they were out of the office that day. I checked my messages. I had received a confirmation that my appointment was happening today and replied Y. Turns out they had tried to call me while I was at work the day before my appointment but I work in a business where I can’t step away to answer the phone so I missed it and I didn’t recognize the number so didn’t check the voicemail right away. I was put back on hold and then got disconnected. They didn’t call me back. I had to call and go through the whole shuffling and hold process again, then they showed no interest in getting me in quickly. I’ve run out of medication and am pleading with them to get me in as soon as possible. They said I hadn’t picked up the phone so they couldn’t help me, and scheduled me nearly 3 weeks out again. This time I checked my messages leading up to the appointment. I got confirmation texts again and a confirmation voicemail telling me the time of my appointment. I arrived and she told me I needed to have been there 30 min before for paperwork so I had to leave so they could go to lunch (it was still 35 min till the lunch time posted on their door). I start crying, horrified at the thought of going another 3 weeks without my medicine. I beg her to let me do the paperwork so I can talk to the doctor if just for 5 min to get my prescription. The front desk lady stares at me coldly, completely uninterested. She says she left a message the night before and called multiple times this week telling me to arrive early but couldn’t leave a voicemail because mine was full. But I got a voicemail the day before telling me to be there at a certain time and it wasn’t the time she said. Because this is a full medical center and the doctors and their automated system and their scheduling center all have different numbers, I can’t tell which number is the doctors. I get off work after they’ve closed, open my phone and see a bunch of different unknown numbers, the only one with a voicemail tells me my appt time so I follow it. Am I supposed to call every number back on the day of my appt and get shuffled around on hold, trying to figure out if it was the doctor who called me? If your automated system doesn’t tell the correct info then update it! She didn’t care about any of this, and seemed happy just to get a chance to gripe about how she hadn’t been able to get ahold of me. Again, not everyone can answer their phone at work! The only thing she would say, while I’m standing there still crying, trying to explain what happened, is that I’ll have to settle for an appointment two weeks out and she wants to go to lunch. Big surprise, I’m never scheduling with them again.

Weve been searching for family doctor and the search continues. My wifes medical needs were blatantly ignored by the office of Carisa Sparks. Never again will we trust anyone affiliated with Crestwood Medical Group. Theyre apparently only after your insurance money and have a general lack of concern for your actual health.

I hate to take away even one star for this place but due to one employee I had to, in fact if this review was done on the day I had my last appointment it would have been much worst.As far as a whole, this place rocks for med services. Carisa is very thorough, listens and will hold nothing back to come to a solution to your issues. most all the staff are very nice and cordial and helpful. I have been going to this place for well over 30 years and until last appointment, I only have had one other small issue and it was with the same employee, so let me het to the bones of the problem this last visit. I came in for a routine visit for my blood pressure check and had to update some paperwork. I arrived on time at 8 am and no one else was there yet with the exception of a lady at the front desk and some others in the back that work there. all employees were behind a glass wall and I was well over 8 feet or so from the closest person behind that glass. for those of us that wear glasses understand how hard it is to keep from fogging up the glasses while filling out paperwork wearing the mask over the nose, so I lowered mine just enough to fill out the paperwork, still over my mouth and 8ft from anyone. Carol, (or i should say Karen) an employee that has been with this facility since Dr Dowd was the Dr, comes from the back , still behind the glass come out and shouts to me to put up my mask in a very unprofessional way and embarrassing me as well in front of her co worker. I explained I was not close to anyone and that we had a wall of glass between us. she still kept on as I told her go go back to work and leave me be. Aggravated as i already was by now, my blood pressure was high...go figure! so she calls me back and as shes taking my blood pressure she has to start in on me again about the quality of mask im wearing telling me that is does me no good to wear that type of mask! Being in the health care industry I thought she would at least know that masks are not for the individual wearing them but for others around them. Not having the patients or time to teach someone something they should already know. I just explained that I did not buy into all the scare tactics and BS you hear on TV and that I choose to not be one of the sheeple but wore the mask to keep the Karens of the world from loosing there minds cause of me. but she couldnt let it go. after sending me to a room to wait on Carisa, she comes back in with a blood pressure cuff to take my blood pressure again because it was high! No $hi1 Carol! I explained that it will be even higher now and how upset I was that she called me to the carpet in front of everyone for no good reason. I will stay with this place as for now but I hope she retires soon or takes some people skill classes and gets the chip off her shoulder. as for Carol I just think of the verse that says if anyone be ignorant, let them be ignorant and will do my best to avoid her. hopefully the powers that be will train her before she runs off the patient base.

Carisa is an excellent physician. I was a patient of the practice before Carisa began and I’ve been seeing her since she first joined the practice. She gives her patient’s the time and attention they need. She is detail oriented and thorough which I prefer. Carol, her nurse, is wonderful and just as professional. I’m very happy. You will not be disappointed.

A CNRP cannot write prescriptions for controlled drugs such as Ambien. So beware if you’re on these prescriptions find another doctor.Otherwise I would rate her service fair.
