The only way this office is getting 45 five star reviews is if friends and family are writing the reviews. I had nothing but problems with this Optometry office. Dont be fooled by the photo on their website. There is only Dr. Tran and his receptionist and they do not work 5 days a week. Dr. Tran is knowledgeable and the prescription was good but he must use a discount lab as I had nothing but problems with the quality of both my glasses and contacts.Paid $650 for a pair of glasses through this office with all the bells and whistles and the coatings started peeling off after 1.5 years. Went to Costco and imagine my surprise when I was able to get the same glasses with all the bells and whistles for $275. That was an eye opener (no pun intended). They way overcharge for glasses.Bought a pair of contacts and had to send them back twice to get the right lens edges buffed out even though I requested the lenses be buffed prior to ordering. Ordered another pair recently from another Optometrist and they were perfect first time.Doctors receptionist overcharged me for what my insurance would pay. Upgraded my insurance from basic to premium which increased my allowance from $150 to $200 yet receptionist said my out of pocket costs were the same. It was like talking to a rock trying to explain to Angela that with a larger allowance my out of pocket expense would be less. Finally had to get VSP insurance involved to get a $50 check back from this office.Dr. Tran may know what hes doing but you will pay for it in out of pocket costs. His glasses prices are exorbitant and the labs he uses are poor quality. Better options elsewhere

Since last 8+ yrs, we been going to Healthy Eye Center for all of our family optometry needs, that could be an eye exams or to get eyeglasses. Dr. Tran is very knowledgeable and thorough, with an exceptional caring attitude. Office manager, Angela is just simply outstanding in her services. She knows so well off her every single patient, treat them like a family member. The service is very affordable with high quality. I definitely refer them to my family, my friends and my community.

I had a very good experience at this optometry office. The receptionist, Angela, was very personable and most professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Tran was great. Thorough exam, took his time, answered all my questions and was very professional. Both were extremely conscious of keeping everything extremely sanitary!!! Was my first visit with them but certainly wont be my last. I highly recommend them!!!

I am a patient there for +9 years. Last year, I had an eye emergency, but because at that time Healthy Eye Center was closed, I had to unwillingly go to another optometrist. The service there was not as good as Dr. Johan Trans service. So last month, I went back again to my favorite Healthy Eye Center which is ALWAYS the best Huntington Beach eye care near me. Dr. Tran is very caring and knowledgeable. The eye exams are very thorough and accurate. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a large selection of high quality, fashionable and affordable eyeglasses. The service is unique and exceptional. I will never go to any other optometrists.

Hands down best eye care around! Office visit is always timely with no long wait times. Small office with a human on the other end of the line when you call, no robot, so refreshing!! Angela is great. She is super friendly and personable. Very knowledgeable and helpful sorting out the insurance coverage as well. Dr Tran is very thorough and extremely caring. They have a huge selection of glasses to choose from too:) I would definitely recommend if you are looking for eye care!!!!

I absolutely love going to the eye doctor just because of Dr. Tran and Angela. This is a small office and you are not just a number. You have their full attention from start to finish. I hope he plans on being around a long time because I never want to go anywhere else. They have a great selection of frames. There is never a wait. Lots of free parking. Centrally located in Huntington Beach. Dr. Tran is a great doctor with an excellent sense of humor. He makes the appointment fun.

My husband Rick and I visited Healthy Eye Centers this past Saturday and Tuesday for the first time and for our biannual eye exams. Let me start by saying that the Receptionist and Dr, Tans assistant is wonderful! Shes polite, knowledgeable and caring. She had us sold just talking with her over the phone! Dr. Tan was amazing. Hes thorough, caring and all around a great Eye Dr. He doesnt try to sell you all the bells and whistles of most you dont need anyway. He is oldschool and basicThat is what we loved about him from the start. He has a great selection of eyeglasses to choice from. Great experience overall. He definitely has 2 new clients for life!!
